Abstract

Make-up assembly (1) has housing (2) and case (4). Bottom (6) of housing is divided in 3 compartments (8 a, b, c) holding three solid make-up products (P1, P2, P3). Lid (10b) covers compartment (8c) and is attached to hinge (27b). Lid (10a) covers compartments (8a, b) and is attached to hinge (27a). Case holds lipstick (P4) and is closed by protective cover (30). Case can only be detached from box when box is open.

Description

The invention relates to a two-part make-up set comprising: a case intended to contain one or more first solid product (s), and a case intended to contain a second product of solid to pasty consistency. The invention relates in particular to a make-up set, the housing of which includes a background. This background defines at least one compartment containing the first one (s) product (s), and at least one cover mounted on the bottom so as to cover, removably the compartment (s). A case is associated with this case comprising the second product, presented in the form of a stick or stick for lips, including a stick of lipstick.

The invention relates, more particularly to housings of the make-up housing type comprising at least two parts articulated one on the other about an axis of pivot, of the type comprising a bottom defining at least one compartment in which is (or are) disposed said (or said) first product (s), and being suitable for being covered by a cover, in particular a pivoting cover. The first ones) product (s) targeted by the invention is (are), in particular make-up powders of the compacted or cast powder type, such as eye shadows, bottoms complexion or blush.

We already know a set of makeup of the kind targeted by the invention. Such set is described in French patent FR 1 281 866, This patent describes a case integral with a lipstick case, the opening of the case being caused by a translation, or a rotation of the lipstick case relative to the housing.

The embodiment according to FR 1 281 866 has the drawback of causing unnecessarily opening the whole case, even when the user does not wish to perform only lip makeup. Such a provision is as much more annoying when she just wants to do lip makeup during the trip, for example by car, train or plane. Indeed, in these conditions, during the lip makeup operation, the case open, the user is obliged, either to look for a place to put the box open, or failing to do so, to keep it in one hand, in which case it may contaminate the fingers.

Another disadvantage of the assembly according to FR 1 281 866 lies in the fact that, when transporting the makeup set in a handbag (where it is located usually among other objects), the case may accidentally open, causing the compacted powder to crumble, and the residues of powder on the contents of the bag.

In addition, the structure of this known assembly is relatively complicated, requiring a mounting operation of a pivot pin, and a spring, which increases the time and therefore the cost of manufacturing the housing. Such a set is not therefore not suitable for sale to the general public.

We also know from document US-A-2 640 487, a lipstick case fitted with a device allowing this lipstick case to be attached to a housing makeup. The makeup case includes a drawer, made outside on the bottom of the housing, capable of receiving, by snap-fastening, a tab with which the attachment device for the lipstick case. The attachment system provides unsightly appearance to the whole. In addition, this system risks to catch on in a handbag in which the whole is transported.

Also, is it an object of the invention to provide a housing, of the housing type makeup, not having the drawbacks mentioned above, in reference to the assembly in accordance with FR 1 281 866, in particular with regard to the method of assembling the case on the housing.

Another object of the invention is to provide a set comprising a housing whose articulation of the cover on the bottom is simple to make and economical, while providing precision that does not deteriorate, so sensitive, over use. Also, the invention advantageously relates to a housing with integrated hinge, such as a film hinge, having the advantage of being simple and inexpensive to make.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a housing which, according to an advantageous embodiment, allows use of the red stick to lips, without risk of loss of the cap.

It is yet another object of the invention to provide a set of make-up whose risk of accidental opening is reduced compared to the aforementioned makeup set.

Other objects of the present invention will appear in detail in the description which follows.

This set is characterized in that said case is mounted on the housing of so as to be able to be detached from the housing only in the open position of (or one of the) cover (s).

Advantageously, the cover (s) is (are) hinged (s) relative to the bottom around at least one axis of articulation. Preferably, this articulation is produced in the form of a film hinge. This allows you to mold the bottom of the case in one piece with the cover (s). By this provision, the housing can be manufactured at a very economical cost, not requiring specific assembly operations.

According to an interesting aspect of the invention, said case comprises means attachment able to cooperate, reversibly, with means complementary to the case.

To ensure the temporary fixing of the case on the case, preferably, the hooking means consist of a hook in the shape of an "L". Of preferably, these attachment means, comprise a first portion adjoining the case, and a second portion having a free edge, cooperating, in assembled position of the assembly, with said complementary means.

Advantageously, the additional means carried by the housing are constituted by a slot (or notch), capable of receiving the free edge of said second portion of the case, said slot or notch opening into a plane of closing the case; next to the cover, when the cover is in position closed. Advantageously, the slot (or notch) is made in the vicinity of a side edge of the housing, that is to say an edge perpendicular to the axis of articulation.

Advantageously, said lateral edge has a slot, located on the face upper of the bottom of the case, and opening into the slot (or notch), said niche being able to be crossed by said first portion of the means hanging.

According to one embodiment, the case comprises a base in which is mounted said second product, and a cap, removably mounted on said base to protect the second product. The second product is presented, from preferably in the form of a solid and crumbly grape or stick.

According to a preferred embodiment, said attachment means are integral with the cap. This arrangement has the advantage that the base of the case carrying the second product can be easily removed from the assembly, and this, advantageously in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the axis articulation of the cover (s). During this operation, the cap remains secured to the housing (in the closed position thereof), and therefore cannot be lost.

Advantageously also, said base can carry a mechanism allowing to move said second product axially, between a retracted position of storage, and an out-of-use position. Such a mechanism is conventional and is described, for example in documents US-A-4,738,559, EP-A-0 491 579 and EP-A-0 658,325, all in the name of the claimant.

According to a preferred embodiment, the housing has a shape generally parallelepipedic, flattened, having a low height.

According to a particular provision of the invention, the bottom of the housing delimits at at least two compartments, capable of being removably covered, by at at least two separate covers, said covers being hinged so individual with respect to the bottom, around the same axis of articulation. So a first compartment containing for example a foundation, can be accessible by lifting a first cover, while a second compartment containing an eye shadow can be released by lifting a second lid.

To ensure the closure of each compartment, preferably each of the covers includes a closure member, capable of cooperating, in position closed, with a complementary member formed on an edge of the housing. Advantageously, the closure member is located on the side of the cover. opposite the hinge, cooperating with said complementary member. This organ complementary is preferably located on the front edge of the bottom of the housing.

According to an interesting embodiment, the first product (s) is (are) packaged in an intermediate cup (s), each arranged in a corresponding compartment. These cups can be mounted, removably, so that after exhaustion, a product can be refilled, removing the empty cup and replacing a new cup.

In the field of make-up, the nuance of a product plays a role preponderant. To be able to visualize the color of the products packaged in the present together, the housing and / or the cap can be made in one transparent or translucent plastic material.

The first product placed in the compartment (s) is presented, by example, in the form of a solid product, like a compact powder, crumbly. Such a crumbly product can be obtained, for example by compaction or casting, according to a well known production method.

The second product is preferably, as mentioned above, in the form of a stick or a stick stick. The second product can be a cosmetic or dermatological composition, in particular a product for lips, like a lipstick stick or a stick for protecting lips against UV radiation.

If necessary, the bottom of the case may include a compartment additional, allowing to house an application member such as a brush or a puff.

In the detailed description which follows, given by way of illustrative and nonlimiting example, reference will be made to the drawings, among which:

As shown in the accompanying figures, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a makeup assembly 1 comprises a housing 2, and a case 4. A bottom 6 forming part of the housing 2, defines a receptacle for three solid products P ₁ to P ₃ of make-up. Thus, in the embodiment shown, the bottom 6 defines three compartments 8a, 8b, 8c intended to receive a compact powder, such as an eye shadow or a foundation. The bottom 6 can also define another recess (not shown) of elongated shape, capable of containing an applicator member of the brush or other type. The bottom 6 is delimited by a flat upper surface 6d.

The housing 2 has a generally parallelepiped shape, substantially flattened and of low height, and defines a front face 22, two lateral faces 20, 24, a dorsal face, an upper face 6a, and a lower face 6b (see FIG. 4). The underside of the housing 2 can be formed, if necessary, by a double added back 6c, forming a continuous surface of the bottom of the case.

In each of the three compartments 8a, 8b, 8c is arranged a cup 36a, 36b, 36c. In each dish, there is a corresponding disintegrating product. In the example considered, compartment 8c, larger than the other two, contains a foundation. The compartments 8a and 8b each contain a eye shadow.

The compartment 8c can be closed by a cover 10b, the latter being articulated at the bottom 6 by a film hinge 27b and pivoting about an axis A. De similarly, compartments 8a and 8b can be closed with a cover 10a, able to cover these two compartments simultaneously. The cover 10a is articulated around the same axis A by a film hinge 27a. Of opposite side to the film hinges 27a, 27b, each of the covers has a closure element 32a, 32b.

Each of the closing elements 32a, 32b cooperates with an element of additional closure 34a, 34b, produced on the front wall 22 of the housing, so as to keep the cover in the closed position. To this end, the elements of additional closure 34a, 34b of the front wall consist of a generally parallelepiped recess comprising a projecting part 35a, 35b, able to cooperate, in the closed position, with a bead 33a, 33b produced on the inner end of the closure elements, 32a, 32b. Each of the closure elements, 32a, 32b is in the form of a tongue flexible, able to bend slightly outwards, under the tensile stress that the user exercises on the corresponding cover. In this way, when the opening of the covers, the beads 33a, 33b cross the parts in corresponding projection 35a, 35b.

Advantageously, the housing (and in particular the covers) is (are) made of a transparent or translucent material, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, making it possible to display, in the closed position, the color of the products P ₁ to P ₃ .

In particular, when the housing 2 is made of an opaque material, the internal face one or both covers 10a, 10b may be provided with a mirror 38a, 38b (see figure 1). This allows the user to visually follow the application of the compact powder on the face.

In addition, (or alternatively), another mirror can be provided on the double bottom reported 6c (Figure 4), which has the advantage, compared to the mode of above realization, that the user can look at during makeup lips, without the need to open the case.

None of these elements constitutes the subject of the invention and, consequently, they do not require additional detailed description.

In the upper surface 6d of the bottom 6, near the lateral edge 20, is made a slot or notch 14. This slot or notch has a general orientation parallel to the lateral edge 20, and constitutes a means for attaching said case 4 to the housing 2.

The case 4 consists of a base 28, generally cylindrical or polygonal, capable of supporting a grape of product P ₄ . The base 28 comprises a portion 29, of reduced diameter (see FIG. 3), capable of being capped by a protective cap 30, also generally cylindrical or polygonal. In the assembled position of the assembly, the base 28 and the cap 30 are aligned along an axis B (see Figure 3), perpendicular to the front face 22 of the housing.

As can be seen in FIG. 3, the base 28 comprises a sheath 31, which can move in rotation relative to the base 28. With this sheath 31, it is possible to position the lipstick grape P ₄ in a retracted position or an extended position of said grape, by means of an appropriate mechanism well known in the prior art.

For this purpose, as mentioned previously, a grape drive mechanism is provided, to effect at will, the axial displacement along the axis B of the grape of product P ₄ . This type of mechanism advantageously comprises a support or cup (not shown) movable axially, carrying the product grape.

Such a drive mechanism is not the subject of the invention and is described, moreover, in documents US-A-4,738,559, EP-A-0 491 579 and EP-A-0 658,325. Therefore, they do not require a detailed description additional.

According to the invention, the cap 30, comprises hooking means 12, suitable to be engaged in the notch or slot 14 of the bottom of the housing. Advantageously, engaging or disengaging the attachment means 12 in the notch or the slot 14 is accompanied by a slight friction. This allows the user, after opening of the cover 10a, to make up in complete safety with the products P1 and / or P2, without fear of inadvertently losing the lipstick case 4.

According to an essential characteristic of the invention, the notch or slot 14 is not therefore accessible only after opening the cover 10a. In other words, this is only in the open position of the cover 10a, that the case 4 can be hung on the case 2 or removed from it. In return, in the closed position of the cover 10a on the bottom 6, the case 4, and possibly the cap 30, are locked on case 2, and cannot be removed.

The attachment means 12 of the case comprise, according to the embodiment shown, a portion 18 extending radially outward from the wall side of the cap 30. The portion 18 is folded square, forming a hook having a terminal portion 16. The terminal portion 16 is shaped so that it can enter (in the open position of the cover 10a), into the slot or notch 14. In the closed position of the cover 10a, the hooking means 12 of the case 4 are therefore locked.

According to the embodiment considered, a slot 26 is provided on the surface 6d and in the side wall 20, making it possible to accommodate the portion 18 of the means hanging 12.

Advantageously, the cap is made of a transparent or translucent material, making it possible to visualize the color of the grape of product P ₄ . This material can be chosen from polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polystyrenes, polyacrylates, etc.

The use of the assembly will now be explained, in particular with reference in Figure 3.

When the user wishes to make up her lips, she removes, for example with the right hand, the base 28 out of the cap 30, along the axis B. By rotating the base 28 relative to the sheath 29, the user brings out a portion of the grape of product P ₄ , over a height sufficient to make up the lips. During this operation, she holds the case in the left hand, so as to keep the covers 10a, 10b in the closed position. This way of operating makes it possible to ensure, during the makeup of the lips, on the one hand that the cap 30 of the case 4 on the housing 2 is maintained in place. It allows, on the other hand, the user to not not get your hands dirty.

When the user wishes to apply a foundation P _3, as disposed in the compartment 8c, she opens the cover 10b by lifting it with the thumb of her left hand, while holding the right part of the housing with her hand right (see Figure 5). By taking a dose of product P ₃ using a finger or an appropriate applicator, she applies said product to the areas of the face that she wishes to make up.

When the user wishes to apply an eye shadow P ₁ or P _2, as arranged in one of the compartments 8a or 8b, the user maintains the housing 2 between the thumb and the index finger of the left hand. Using the thumb of the right hand, it positions the cover 10a in the open position. This allows him to take, for example using a finger of the right hand or an applicator, a dose of product P ₁ and / or P ₂ , and apply it on the eyelids.

The friction of the fastening element 12 of the case 4 in the slot or notch 14 of the case is sufficient, to prevent separation of the case 4 and the case 2, during the eyelid makeup operation (Figure 2).

The makeup assembly 1 as described has the advantage of being rechargeable separately and individually for each of the products P ₁ to P ₄ . Also, a cup of product P ₁ to P ₃ , the contents of which have been used up, can be replaced by a new cup containing the same product or a product of a different shade.

When the lipstick grape P ₄ is exhausted, it suffices to remove the base 28 with the used grape, and replace it with a new base comprising a new grape. Likewise, by simply replacing the base 28, the user can always have the desired lipstick color available to them.

In addition, at the point of sale itself, the user can choose the composition products arranged in the make-up set: for example, the nuance of the foundation or eye shadows, or that of lipstick.

The makeup assembly thus formed is compact and space-saving, which makes it particularly suitable to be carried in a handbag. He is at note that, during transport, the risk of separation of the case 2 and the lipstick case 4 is practically excluded.

The foregoing description refers to a preferred embodiment of the invention. Obviously, variations can be made without depart from the spirit of the invention as claimed below.

Claims (15)

Set (1) in two parts comprising: a) a housing (2) comprising a bottom (6) delimiting at least one compartment (8a-8c) intended to contain at least one first product, in particular make-up (P ₁ , P ₂ , P ₃ ), and at least one cover (10a, 10b) mounted on said bottom, so as to selectively occupy an open position, or a closed position, in which it (s) removably cover (s), said (or said) compartment (s) ; b) a case (4) intended to contain a second product (P ₄ ) removably mounted on the housing (2); characterized in that said case (4) is mounted on the housing so as to be able to be detached from the housing only in the open position of (or at least one of) the cover (s) (10a). Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the (or the) cover (s) is (are) hinged (s) relative to the bottom (6) around at least one axis of articulation (A). An assembly according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said case (4) comprises attachment means (12) capable of cooperating, in a reversible manner, with complementary means (14) of the housing (2). Assembly according to claim 3, characterized in that the means attachment (12) consist of a hook in the shape of an "L", having a first portion (18) adjoining the case and a second portion having a free edge (16), cooperating, in the assembled position of the assembly, with said means complementary (14) of the housing. Assembly according to claim 4, characterized in that the means complementary are constituted by a slot or notch (14), suitable for receiving the free edge (16) of said second portion, said slot or notch (14) opening into a closure plane (6d) of the housing, opposite the cover (10a), when the latter is in the closed position. Assembly according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the said case (4) consists of a base (28) in which the said second product (P ₄ ) is mounted, and of a cap (30) removably mounted on said base (28). An assembly according to claims 3 and 6, characterized in that said attachment means (12) are integral with the cap (30). Assembly according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that said base (28) carries a mechanism making it possible to axially move said second product (P ₄ ) between a retracted position or storage position, and an extended position or use position. Assembly according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that that the bottom (6) delimits at least two compartments (8a, 8c), capable of being removably covered by at least two separate covers (10a, 10b), said covers (10a, 10b) being articulated, individually, by relative to the bottom (6) around the same axis of articulation (A). Assembly according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in each of the covers (10a, 10b) includes a closure member (32a, 32b), able to cooperate, in the closed position, with a complementary member (34a, 34b) formed on an edge (22) of the housing. Assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that said (or said) first product (s) (P ₁ to P ₃ ) is (are) packaged in a cup (36a-36c) arranged in the corresponding compartment (8a-8c).
