Description

The invention relates to a single-chamber infusion bag made of heat-sealable Filter paper material, especially for making tea, with a Chamber containing substance quantum, at its head end and at its Foot end is closed by a transverse heat seal each with heat sealing the foot end a first free end of a thread is connected which is housed in the form of a loop and its second end by heat sealing the head end or adjacent guided out of the chamber and outside with the chamber is attached to a label. The invention further relates to a method for Manufacture of such single-chamber infusion bags, in particular for tea.

Single chamber infusion bags of the type described above are of the WO-A- 93/19997 known. Such infusion bags are only large to produce technical effort, it being disadvantageous that the label in Packaging state is connected to the tea bag only via the thread.

The invention has for its object to provide a single-chamber infusion bag of the type described, which has no exposed thread in the packaging state and provides attachment of the thread with a label without an additional fastener, that is, only using the materials necessary for the bag manufacture , which should enable continuous production on high-speed machines with capacities of up to 1000 bags per minute.

This object is solved by the invention characterized in that the outer end of the thread laid as a loop and is connected to the tag inside an asymmetrical tag fold by heat-sealing, the longer due to the asymmetric folding sheet of the label located on the outside and by sealing points at the projecting The end of the sheet is easily attached to the bag.

With the invention is a perfect accommodation of the thread and Positional security of the label in the packaging condition guaranteed. For the In use, the label can be easily removed from the pouch by the user and pull the thread out of the chamber as far as possible so that it Drinking vessel or the jug can be attached. After all, after Leaching process also a pressing out of the used tea bag can be carried out, by pulling the thread further the lower transverse seam towards the pulled the upper transverse seam of the bag and thus pressed the bag together with which the liquid is pressed out.

A single-chamber infusion bag was known from US-A-2,852,389 thread or foldable tape attached to the inside of one at the head of the bag Label is housed. To do this, the thread or tape had to be between two Scroll the label in a loop or fold. This accommodation of the thread carrying the label or the band inside the label required an elaborate production.

According to a further feature of the invention, the label is on the chamber wall attached, free of the central-longitudinal connection necessary for this type of bag, is in particular medium-length heat sealing.

For the continuous production of single-chamber infusion bags of the above described type, a method is proposed according to the invention that is characterized in that on an initially level heat-sealable filter paper web a label thread meandering, in particular running centrally around the longitudinal axis on the top of the web is placed and fixed that at regular intervals to each other on the Bottom of the web a number of labels are substantially congruent applied with the label thread on the top and fixed that by Each label has the thread gripped from below using a tool and through the filter paper web and the label on the Bottom, especially in the form of a loop, is pulled that then the loop is attached to the label and the label on the Filter paper web is attached by heat sealing, after which in itself known manner - if necessary after bulging their longitudinal edges - portioned substance quanta of the leached substance in uniform Spaces are placed on the filter paper web from the web continuous hose is formed and then the hose in regular intervals, each covering a quantity of substance in Transverse direction is heat sealed, and then the transverse heat seals be cut in the middle so that at the foot of the so formed The inner label thread is fixed in the heat seal remains while being pulled out of the chamber at the head end by the Heat sealing is performed.

The latter is preferably achieved in that the gripping of the thread from below through each label using the tool, in particular with a needle, through a hole in the label, the Pierce the filter paper web with the tool and the thread through it Opening is pulled, the opening in the cross heat seal so is positioned to pull the thread out of the chamber later is feasible. This brings the thread out of the chamber and the mobility of the thread for pulling out is ensured.

According to an expedient embodiment of the method, the Label thread on the filter paper web by two at a distance from each other punctiform heat seals attached, between which the thread from the tool, in particular from a needle, for Pull through the web and the label is gripped through. To this According to the preferred embodiment of the method, a Thread loop can be drawn with the label inside one asymmetrical label folding is connected by heat sealing, the protruding sheet end of the label attached to the bag by sealing points becomes.

Preferably, the two long sides of the hose during the Tube forming or after the tube forming with a after provided folding inside to increase the chamber volume enlarge. For this purpose, the flat filter paper web in front of the Thread support with linear knockouts in the longitudinal direction accordingly the number of folds intended for the folds become.

Finally, it may be appropriate to use the entire thread during the Processing process easily on the filter paper web by heating to either attach the web or thread, but so must be carried out so that the thread can easily loosen again by train and can be pulled out of the chamber later.

1 shows a schematic illustration of the use of the single-chamber infusion bag of FIG. 1.

The one-chamber infusion bag 1 shown in Fig. 1 of the drawing made of heat sealable filter paper material and has two each other oppositely arranged chamber walls 2, 3 through Tube formation of a web 4 of the filter paper material result by the turned over two longitudinal edges 5, 6 to the longitudinal center 7 and there with each other by means of a central longitudinal knurled seam 8 or a central longitudinal heat seal are connected, the foot end 9 and the head end 10 closed by a transverse heat seal 11 or 12 respectively become. In this way, an enclosed space is being formed Chamber 13 formed which a substance quantum 14, namely a portioned Lots of tea, contains. The one-chamber infusion bag 1 is consequently at his both longitudinal sides 15 and 16 by means of tube formation without folds and seal-free, whereby the volume of the chamber 13 significantly is enlarged that a fold 17, 18 on each of the two long sides 15, 16 is formed, which is accordion-shaped in cross section and in the Chamber 13 of the bag extends inwardly. The folds 17, 18 are made so that the usual external dimensions of such Single-chamber tea bags are retained and therefore despite the increase of the chamber volume no increase in its length or width in Packaging condition is given. This ensures that Substance quantum T in chamber 13 excellently through the Infusion liquid is to be digested and the substances contained in it solve optimally.

Inside the chamber 13, a thread 19 is arranged in a meandering shape, one end 20 of which is fixed to the transverse heat seal 11 Foot end 9 is connected, while its other end 21 through the transverse running heat seal 12 of the head end 10 from the chamber 13 movable, namely extractable, led out and outside the Chamber 13 is connected to a label 22 by heat sealing. The label 22 consists of a rectangular paper strip with a heat-sealable coating that is asymmetrical in the transverse direction is folded and in the resulting interior with the loop-shaped second end 21 of the label thread 19 is connected. Due to the asymmetrical transverse folding, there is a longer one on the outside arranged label sheet 23, the projecting sheet end by two Sealing points 24 easily removable on the wall 2 of the bag by heat sealing is pinned.

The production of such a single-chamber bag and in particular the thread and Labeling can be seen from the following description of the Fig. 2 of the drawing, in the schematic of a device for manufacturing such bag is shown in a continuous process. From one The filter paper roll (not shown) is subtracted from the required quantity continuously withdrawn in the form of a filter paper web 25 and over a Pre-folding device 26 guided, with the linear knockouts 27 in Longitudinal direction corresponding to that for the later folds 17, 18 intended number of folding operations. Subsequently the filter paper web 25 is guided over a thread feeder 28 with which the label thread 19 continuously meanders around the longitudinal center is placed continuously on the top of the filter paper web 25, as FIG. 3 the drawing illustrates.

For this purpose, the thread 19 is drawn off continuously from a thread supply spool 29, the thread 19 is placed in a serpentine manner on a roller 30 and fed to the filter paper web 25 via the rotation of the roller in the direction of rotation indicated by an arrow. The filter paper web 25 is on the W Alze 30, and slightly warmed by a heater 31st With the aid of a fixing roller 32, the thread 19 is slightly attached to the filter paper web 25 on the top.

In the next station, labels 22 are fed to the underside the filter paper web 25 instead. The labels are from a label reel 33 in Form of a label web 34 removable, with an embossing in the station 35 of the labels and in the station 36 a perforation of the labels and a Cutting the labels can be done. The real one Labeling on the filter paper web 25 takes place by means of a Label roller 37 instead, on which the labels are fixed and then with the Label thread 19 are connected. The representation of the label web in FIG. 4 the drawing shows by scissor symbols at which point in the Hole punching and cutting station is cut and a hole 38 punched is, with a dashed line, the later asymmetrical kink or folding of the label is symbolized at this crease edge.

Die gestrichelt eingezeichnete Schlaufe 39 am Etikett 19 entsteht wie folgt:5 of the drawing are on the label roller 37 on the Filter paper web 25 labels 22 to be applied from below in series and with Distance from each other and thus in an arrangement that the interacting ensures with the thread 19 on the other side of the filter paper web 25. The thread 19 lightly sealed on the filter paper web 25 is additionally on the points marked "A" and "B" in the middle of the Filter paper web 7 as well as slightly offset off center firmly sealed, since a loop is drawn between "A" and "B" is provided for connection to the label, as described below will be. Between the fixed points "A" and "B" at "N" is that punched hole 38 recognizable on each label. Finally, Fig. 3 are the Drawing the two sealing points 24 can be removed, with which each label 22nd to the filter paper after performing the cross fold around the dashed line Line and the fixation of the loop of the thread 19 is attached. The Loop 39 drawn in dashed lines on label 19 is produced as follows:

The thread 19 is connected by a needle similar to a crochet hook between the Points "A" and "B" detected from below through hole 38 of the label Filter paper web 25 pierces upwards, with its hook according to FIG Drawing the thread 19 is detected and in the retraction movement by the Filter paper and pull the loop through downwards. The Movement of the needle 40 according to the arrows is indicated by a hollow fixing bolt 41 out. After the needle 40 the loop 39, released by a rotation of 90 °, if necessary, the Loop 39 to the rear opposite to the running direction of the Filter paper web 25 folded over, for which purpose a thread loop fold-over 42 Fig. 6 of the drawing is provided. Then the label 22 folded asymmetrically and the thread loop sealed in the label, after which the label itself on the filter paper with the two sealing points 24 is pinned. The label flipper is in Fig. 6 of the drawing with the Reference numeral 43 is drawn schematically.

Fig. 6 of the drawing shows the processes of the in four different positions Threading, pulling the thread through the filter paper web and that Label, loop formation, thread folding and label folding. in the Another manufacturing process is as described above prepared filter paper web 25 then fed to the dosage 44, in which Tea portion heaps are placed on the filter paper web. Subsequently the longitudinal seam is produced at 45 by tube forming and one or several gussets 17, 18 folded and the cross seals carried out. In the subsequent cutting is shown in FIG. 3 of the drawing the symbolized scissors to ensure that the cuts in the Cross seals are made in such a way that the lower end of each bag Fixation of the thread 19 is retained and at the head of each bag flexible passage of the thread 19 when pulling out the label is ensured. The function shown in FIG. 7 of the drawing is then guaranteed.

Fig. 7 of the drawing shows the state of use of the invention Bag after the user has detached the label 22 from the bag itself and the label thread 19 in full from inside the chamber has pulled out, so that hanging in a teapot 46 to Leaching is possible. After "pulling" the tea in the liquid is completed, the bag 1 is pulled up from the tea water, whereby it has the normal shape drawn below the jug. Subsequently the user can squeeze the bag 1, i.e. squeeze out the liquid, by using the can opening or the can lid as an abutment and pulls on the thread 19 with the label 22. Since the thread 19 on the lower transverse heat seal is attached, this is going in the direction pulled onto the head end of the bag and thus the bag 1 pressed together, as the lower drawing in Fig. 7 illustrates. By this pressing process, the liquid is pressed out of the bag and a drip-free removal from the can 46 can be carried out.
