Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1002741A1] The thread(19) of the teabag is located inside the chamber containing the tea with its free first end(20) permanently connected to the transversely extending hot seal of the teabag's bottom end(9), and with its second end(21) passing through the transversely extending hot seal of the top end(10) and withdrawable from the chamber. Outside the chamber the thread is connected to the tag(22), especially through hot sealing, with the tag lightly attached to the teabag. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the manufacture of a single-chamber teabag which includes the aforesaid positioning and attachment of the thread in the teabag.
