Description

Fahrzeuge mit Sondersignalen, wie beispielsweise Feuerwehr, Polizei, Rettungsdienste usw., verwenden optische und akustische Signale. Diese werden oftmals von den Verkehrsteilnehmern nicht bzw. zu spät wahrgenommen (Innengeräusche im Fahrzeug, Verkehrslärm u. a.). Aufgrund des o. g. Sachverhaltes kommt es insbesondere immer wieder zu Behinderungen von Fahrzeugen mit Sondersignalen. Im schlimmsten Fall kann es zu Verkehrsunfällen unter Beteiligung von Fahrzeugen mit Sondersignalen kommen. Erfindungsgemäß wird jeder zum Führen eines Sondersignals berechtigten Gruppe ein gesonderter Code zugeordnet (Feuerwehr, Polizei usw.). Die Informationen dieser Fahrzeuge über Standort und Route usw. werden einer Zentrale mitgeteilt, die diese dann über ihr Informationssystem den sich in diesem Gebiet befindlichen Fahrzeugen übermittelt.

Ein Fahrzeug mit ausgelöstem Sondersignal ermittelt seine Position mit Hilfe eines Satellitenempfängers, der die Signale von Navigationssatelliten des "Global Positioning System" (GPS) erhält.
Diese Daten sowie eine Kennung (z. B. Fahrzeugart, Fahrtrichtung usw.) werden an eine Verkehrsleitzentrale gesendet.
Dort werden die Daten ausgewertet. Anhand der übermittelten Position in Verbindung mit der Fahrtrichtung wird nach einer definierten Vorgabe der Aktionsradius des Fahrzeugs mit Sondersignal bestimmt.
Diese Daten werden an einen entsprechenden Rundfunksender mit Informationsdiensten übermittelt.
