L'entrée de l'échangeur de chaleur 27 est raccordée par une conduite tubulaire flexible 17.2 terminée par un raccord rapide 23.2 à une dérivation 16.2 de la canalisation 16.1. Un aérotherme de chauffage de l'habitacle du véhicule est alimenté par une canalisation 16.5 reliant la boíte à eau 21 à une conduite tubulaire flexible 17.5 terminée par un raccord rapide 23.5. Avantageusement, les canalisations 16.1 à 16.7 ont une section rectangulaire optimisant la rigidité du châssis selon la présente invention. Toutefois, il est bien entendu que la mise en oeuvre des canalisations présentant d'autres géométries, notamment une section différente, ne sort pas du cadre de la présente invention. Claims (8)

  1. A heat engine (5) for a motor vehicle with a self-supporting interconnection frame (1) comprising an integral expansion chamber (29) and a tank (21) for water inlet, distribution, and outlet, and a plurality of elongate rigid pipes (16) co-operating with the expansion chamber (29) and the tank (21) to form the rigid structure of the frame (1) and extending to the vicinity of members of the engine (5) that are to be interconnected, the frame including fixing means (13) for fixing the frame to the engine (5) and including connection means for direct connection between the cooling water inlet and outlet of the engine and the tank (21) of the self-supporting frame.
  2. An engine according to claim 1, characterized in that the tank (21) includes a hot water inlet suitable for connection to the outlet of the water pump of the engine and connected to the hot water outlet of the tank (21) which is connected to a pipe leading to the hot water inlet of a radiator (25), and a cold water inlet connected to a pipe for conveying water cooled by a radiator (25) and connected to a cold water outlet suitable for connection to the cooling water inlet of the heat engine.
  3. An engine according to any preceding claim, characterized in that the engine includes means (15) for holding electrical or optical cables (19) or other fluid transfer ducts.
  4. An engine according to any preceding claim, characterized in that the engine includes hoses (17.1 to 17.7) connected to the rigid pipes (16.1 to 16.7) and providing connections in zones that are subjected to severe stresses, in zones for making connections to members of the engine, and/or in zones that correspond to paths that are awkward or difficult.
  5. An engine according to claim 4, characterized in that the ends of the pipes (17), and in particular the hoses, are provided with connection devices, in particular with quick couplings (23).
  6. An engine according to any preceding claim, characterized in that the rigid pipes (16.1 to 16.7) are formed as a single piece by forming or extruding plastics materials.
  7. An engine according to any preceding claim, characterized in that the rigid pipes (16.1 to 16.7) are made by assembling together a plurality of parts made of plastics material.
  8. An engine according to any preceding claim, characterized in that it includes a radiator (25) connected to the engine by hoses (17.1, 17.4) and by rigid pipes (16.1, 16.4), in that the engine includes a heat exchanger (27) connected to the cooling circuit via hoses (17.2, 17.3, 17.31) and rigid pipes (16.2, 16.3, 16.31), in that it includes hoses (17.5, 17.6) and rigid pipes (16.5, 16.6) for connection to the vehicle cabin heater, and a rigid pipe (16.7) connected to a hose (17.7) connected to the admission manifold.
