Claims (7)
- Vorrichtung zur katalytischen Reinigung bzw. Zerlegung von heißen Abgasen insbesondere eines Verbrennungsmotors, mit einem im Abgasstrom angeordneten bzw. anbringbaren rohrartigen Gehäuse (1) und wenigstens zwei in dem Gehäuse (1) axial aufeinanderfolgend angeordneten und durch ein Distanzelement (7) voneinander beabstandeten Katalysatorkörpern (5, 6),
wobei
das Gehäuse (1) ein erstes Gehäuseteil (9) zur Aufnahme des ersten Katalysatorkörpers (5) und ein zweites Gehäuseteil (10) zur Aufnahme des zweiten Katalysatorkörpers (6) aufweist und wobei die Endbereiche der Gehäuseteile (9, 10) an ihren einander zugewandten Stirnseiten formschlüssig übereinander greifen und ein Teil des innenliegenden Endbereichs als das die Katalysatorkörper (5, 6) beabstandendes Distanzelement (7) ausgebildet ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Distanzelement (7) mit der Innenwand des außenliegenden Endbereichs des Gehäuseteils (9) einen im wesentlichen geschlossenen Ringraum (12) bildet. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Ringraum (12) mit einem wärmedämmenden Material gefüllt ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Außenliegende Endbereich (11) des Gehäuseteils (9) aufgeweitet ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der ringstufenförmige Übergangsbereich des Endbereichs des Gehäuseteils (9) zu dem aufgeweiteten Endbereich (11) eine geringe Neigung gegenüber der Axialrichtung des Gehäuses (1) aufweist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Gehäuseteile (9, 10) Rohrteile oder Ziehteile mit insbesondere unrundem Querschnitt sind. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Endbereiche der Gehäuseteile (9, 10) miteinander verschweißt sind.
