Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zarge zur Herstellung von Wandabschlüssen nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Bislang wurden Bad- und Duschwannen mit festen, d.h. mit den Wannen in einem Stück gepreßten, starren Zargen bekannt.
Aus der publizierten Europäischen Patentanmeldung EP 281 403-A2 ist ein Einbausatz zum Befestigen einer Bade- oder Duschwanne an einer Wand bekannt. Der Einbausatz weist eine Rahmen auf, der unterhalb des Wannenrandes befestigt ist. An diesem Rahmen ist ein abgewinkeltes Profil angebracht, das die Lücke zwischen der Wanne und der Wand überbrückt.
Eine Profilleiste zum Befestigen einer Wanne an einer Wand ist aus der deutschen Auslegeschrift 25 06 543 bekannt. Die Leiste ist als Winkelleiste ausgebildet, wobei der an der Wand anliegende Schenkel der Winkelleiste mit einem doppelseitigen Klebeband versehen ist.
Diese starr angebrachten Zargen haben jedoch den Nachteil, daß sie sich nicht an die entsprechenden Umstände des Einbauortes anpassen lassen. Ein derartiger Anpassungsbedarf besteht jedoch beispielsweise durch häufig vorkommende Mauertoleranzen. Je nach Einbausituation, z.B. mit oder ohne Mauernische, können die Anzahl und die Maße der erforderlichen Wandabschlüsse variieren. Hierdurch bedingt müssen Wannen mit festen Zargen daher im Werk entsprechend der unterschiedlich erforderlichen Anzahl und Maße der Zargen mit großem Aufwand speziell gefertigt werden. Da eine derartige Wanne mit durch Blechabkantung fest integrierter Zarge unabänderlich ist, kann Sie bei Fehldisposition nicht universell eingesetzt werden. Hierdurch werden die Geschäftsabwicklungen und das Lagerwesen erheblich belastet. Durch die Spezialanfertigung treten zudem von Fall zu Fall teilweise erhebliche Lieferfristen auf.
Außerdem haben starre Zargen den Nachteil, daß sie ohne zusätzliche Hilfsmittel die Schalltransmissionen von der Wanne in die Wand eher fördern als verhindern. Zusätzliche Hilfsmittel für die Schallentkopplung wiederum verhindern praktisch ein einwandfreies Verlegen der Keramikplatten, die üblicherweise im Sanitärbereich an den Wänden verlegt werden.
Darüberhinaus können starre, mit den Wannen kraftschlüssig verbundene Zargen zu Beschädigungen der Wandkeramikplatten führen, wenn sich Wannen einseitig senken, wodurch über den Hebel der Zarge erhebliche Drücke unter den Platten auftreten.
Durch das Weglassen einer Zarge entfällt aber die gewünschte dauerhafte Dichtigkeit des Wandabschlusses. Eine bloße Abdichtung der Wandabschlüsse mit Kittfugen ist in der Regel weder sicher noch dauerhaft. Die Dichtigkeit einer Zarge ist vor allem dort unabdingbar, wo in sogenannter Trockenbauweise unter anderem auch Gips- und Spanplattenwände eingesetzt werden, die sehr empfindlich auf Feuchtigkeit reagieren. Das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in derartige Wände ist regelmäßig mit großen Schäden verbunden.
Die Notwendigkeit eines möglichst wasser- und schalldichten Wandabschlusses besteht nicht nur beim Einbau von Bad- oder Duschwannen sondern bei einer Vielzahl von Einbaugegenständen, wie sanitäre Anlagen, Abdeckplatten von Einbaumöbeln, Haushaltsgeräten usw..
Die Erfindung hat daher die Aufgabe, eine Zarge zur Herstellung von wasserdichten Wandanschlüssen für derartige Einbaugegenstände vorzuschlagen, wobei eine Anpassung an die am Einbauort vorliegenden besonderen Gegebenheiten vor Ort möglich sein sollte.
Diese Aufgabe wird ausgehend von einer Zarge der einleitend genannten Art durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Durch die in den Unteransprüchen genannten Maßnahmen sind vorteilhafte Ausführungen und Weiterbildungen möglich.
Dementsprechend wird bei einer erfindungsgemäßen Zarge ein vom Einbaugegenstand separates Zargenband zum Anbringen zwischen dem Einbaugegenstand und der Abschlußwand vorgesehen. Dieses Zargenband wird hierbei so breit ausgeführt, daß es in eingebautem Zustand über die Höhe des Einbaugegenstandes im Bereich des Randabschlusses hinausragt und eine Dichtfläche zur wasserdichten Verbindung mit einer im wesentlichen wandparallelen Abschlußfläche des Einbaugegenstandes aufweist.
Eine derartige Zarge kann vor Ort jeweils an den Seiten des Einbaugegenstandes angebracht werden, die an einer Wand zu liegen kommen und somit einen Wandabschluß benötigen. Ohne weiteres kann aber eine solche Zarge auch bereits vorab im Werk an dem Einbaugegenstand befestigt werden.
Sind die Einbaugegenstände beispielsweise Bad- oder Duschwannen, so kann mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Zarge ein und dieselbe Wanne mit ein, zwei oder auch drei Wandabschlüssen versehen werden. Je nach Einbaulage können die Wannenseiten, die an einer Wand zu liegen kommen, mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Zarge ausgestattet werden. Durch den Einsatz einer solchen Zarge kann die gleiche Wannenform an vielen verschiedenen Einbauorten verwendet werden. Die Vorteile bezüglich der Fertigung, der Lieferung und dem Einbau der damit verbundenen Zeit und Kosteneinsparungen liegen auf der Hand.
Außerdem bleibt die Dichtigkeit des Wandabschlusses durch die dichte Verbindung des Zargenbandes mit dem Einbaugegenstand gewährleistet, so daß erst dann Feuchtigkeit hinter die Zarge in den Bereich der Abschlußwand gelangen kann, wenn wannenseitig ein Flüssigkeitsstand vorliegt, der oberhalb des Bereichs des Zargenbandes liegt, das wie oben angegeben, über die Höhe des Einbaugegenstandes, d.h. beispielsweise über die Höhe des Wannenrands hinausragt. Da eine Bad- oder Duschwanne in der Regel nicht rundum mit Wandabschlüssen versehen wird, kann in diesem Fall ein solcher Wasserpegel nie erreicht werden, da zuvor die Wanne an einer anderen Seite überläuft. Das Mauerwerk der Abschlußwand ist somit zuverlässig vor Feuchtigkeit geschützt.
Die Zarge ist wenigstens teilweise aus flexiblem Material gefertigt. Hierdurch kann die Zarge Wannenbewegungen, z.B. durch Bodensenkung aufgrund von Schwund oder Verwerfung der Estriche bzw. Unterlagsböden, nachgeben, ohne daß die den Wandbelag bildenden Keramikplatten beschädigt werden. Auch die Dichtheit der Zarge wird beim Nachgeben eines derart elastischen Materials nicht beeinträchtigt.
Je nach Bedarf kann eine erfindungsgemäße Zarge zumindest teilweise aus Kunststoff, aus textilen Werkstoffen und/oder Metall gefertigt werden. Die Materialauswahl für eine derartige Zarge hängt vom jeweiligen Einsatzgebiet ab und kann dementsprechend angepaßt werden.
Für die Befestigung der Zarge am Einbaugegenstand sind vielfältige Möglichkeiten, beispielsweise Klammern, Schrauben, Nieten und/oder Verklebungen denkbar. Es muß lediglich darauf geachtet werden, daß die Zarge möglichst flächig an der entsprechenden Abschlußfläche des Einbaugegenstandes anliegt. Bad- oder Duschwannen sind in der Regel mit einem vertikalen und einem horizontalen Abbug versehen. Der vertikale Abbug bildet hierbei die Abschlußfläche, an der die Zarge dicht anliegen muß.
Im Fall einer Verklebung ist die Verwendung eines Selbstklebebandes zu empfehlen. Auf diese Weise ist die Zarge besonders leicht zu handhaben. Sie kann am Einbauort durch festes Andrücken an die Abschlußfläche des Einbaugegenstandes befestigt werden. Denkbar sind jedoch auch andere Klebemöglichkeiten, beispielsweise mittels einer Klebedichtmasse, d.h. mit einer Dichtmasse, die zugleich als Kleber wirkt.
Das Klebeband kann zugleich als Dichtband ausgeführt werden, damit die Verbindung zwischen dem Dichtstreifen der Zarge und der Abschlußfläche des Einbaugegenstandes wasserdicht ist. Zugleich kann dieses Dichtband so ausgestaltet werden, daß es als Schallschwelle wirkt. Zu dem Vorteil der einfachen Handhabung des Klebebandes und der erforderlichen Dichtigkeit des Abschlusses kommt in diesem Fall noch die wirksame Schallabkopplung zwischen Einbaugegenstand und Abschlußwand hinzu.
Vorteilhafterweise wird ein Hinterfütterungsabschnitt mit dem Zargenband verbunden. Durch einen solchen Hinterfütterungsabschnitt wird der minimale Abstand der Wandbelagsplatten zum oberen Wannenrand festgelegt. Wird der Hinterfütterungsabschnitt aus schallisolierendem Material gefertigt, so wird hierdurch auch eine Schallbrücke zwischen dem oberen Wannenrand und dem Wandbelag unterbunden.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform wird ein Schutzstreifen in Verlängerung des Hinterfütterungsabschnittes vorgesehen. Dieser Schutzstreifen schützt den Wannenrand während der Einbaumaßnahmen vor Beschädigungen. Er kann nach dem Einbau einer Wanne entfernt werden. Hierzu wird in einer besonderen Ausführungsform eine Perforation zwischen Schutzstreifen und Hinterfütterungsabschnitt vorgesehen. Der Schutzstreifen kann somit nach Fertigstellung des Wandbelags einfach abgerissen werden, so daß der Wandbelag ein Stück über den Hinterfütterungsabschnitt hinaussteht. Der Hinterfütterungsabschnitt dient sodann als Basis für eine elastische Fugenabdichtung. Beispielsweise aus Silikondichtmasse. Derartige Fugenabdichtungen sind unter anderem aus ästhetischen und hygienischen Gründen auch weiterhin als Primärabdichtung von Vorteil. Die Fugenabdichtungen werden jedoch häufig, z.B. aus Altersgründen oder nach mechanischer Belastung undicht. Wird die Fugenabdichtung undicht, so bleibt durch die erfindungsgemäße Zarge als Sekundärdichtung ein dichter Wandabschluß gewährleistet.
Es sind zusätzliche Schallentkopplungsprofile an dem Zargenband vorgesehen. Ein derartiges Schallentkopplungsprofil, das im einfachsten Fall aus einem dünnen Streifen aus entsprechendem Schaumstoffmaterial besteht, kann entlang der gesamten Wandseite der Zarge angebracht werden. Zudem ist es denkbar, ein solches Schallentkopplungsprofil auf der Raumseite des über die Höhe des Einbaugegenstandes hinausragenden Teils des Zargenbands anzubringen. Durch derartige zusätzliche Schallentkopplungsprofile wird die Wanne zusätzlich schallisoliert von der Abschlußwand, d.h. sämtliche Schallbrücken sind im wesentlichen vermieden.
Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung sind in der Zeichnung dargestellt und werden anhand der nachfolgenden Beschreibung näher erläutert.

Der Wandabschluß 1 gemäß Fig. 1 zeigt einen Wannenrand 2 mit einem vertikalen Abbug 3 sowie einem horizontalen Abbug 4. Die erfindungsgemäße Zarge 5 weist ein Zargenband 6 auf, das mittels eines Selbstklebestreifens 7 am Vertikalabbug 3 sowie am Horizontalabbug 4 befestigt ist. Der Selbstklebestreifen 7 ist ebenso wasserdicht wie das Zargenband 6. Direkt über dem Wannenrand 2 erstreckt sich ein Hinterfütterungsabschnitt 8, der an einer Perforation 9 in einen Schutzstreifen 10 übergeht. Zwischen dem Zargenband 6 und der nicht dargestellten Abschlußwand befindet sich ein erstes Schallentkopplungsprofil 11. Oberhalb des Wannenrandes 2 ist raumseitig des Zargenbands 6 zwischen diesem und einer Wandbelagplatte 13 ein zweites Schallentkopplungsprofil 12 angebracht.
Das Zargenband 6 mit seiner überstehenden Länge L und dem an seiner Dichtfläche 6a festgeklebten dichten Klebestreifen 7 gewährleistet einen wasserdichten Wandabschluß. Die Schallentkopplungsprofile 11 und 12 unterstützen die je nach Material ohnehin bereits vorhandene schallisolierende Wirkung der Zarge 5.
Der Hinterfütterungsabschnitt dient zum einen der Schallisolierung zwischen der Wandbelagplatte 13 und dem Wannenrand 2. Er dient zusätzlich als Basis für eine Dichtfuge sowie als Abstandshalter für die Wandbelagplatten 13 bei deren Verlegung. Der Schutzstreifen 10 schützt den Wannenrand 2 vor Verunreinigung und Beschädigung während der Montage.
Aus den Figuren 2 bis 5 ist die Reihenfolge der Herstellung eines Wandabschlusses ersichtlich. Zunächst wird das Zargenband 6 am Vertikalabbug 3 angeklebt. Sodann wird der Schutzstreifen 10 auf den Wannenrand 2 geklebt. Die Klebeverbindung des Schutzstreifens 10 darf hier nicht allzu fest, sondern wieder lösbar sein. Anschließend wird die Zarge von hinten her fest an den Vertikalabbug angerollt und so weit umgebogen, daß sie auch am Horizontalbug 4 (siehe Fig. 4) fest verklebt ist. Nun werden die Wandbelagsplatten 13 angebracht. Nach Fertigstellung des Wandbelags wird der Schutzstreifen 10 abgerissen und weggezogen (siehe Fig. 5).

Claims (9)

  1. Zarge (5) zur Herstellung von Wandabschlüssen beim Einbau von Einbaugegenständen, wie Bad- oder Duschwannen, sanitären Anlagen, Abdeckplatten von Einbaumöbeln, Haushaltsgeräten oder dgl., wobei ein vom Einbaugegenstand (2) separates Zargenband (6) zum Anbringen zwischen Einbaugegenstand (2) und Abschlusswand vorhanden ist, das einen mit einer teilweise an dem Einbaugegenstand (2) zu befestigenden Vorderseite des Zargenbandes (6) verbundenen Hinterfütterungsabschnitt (8) und eine Dichtfläche (6a) zur wasserdichten Verbindung vor der Wandmontage mit einer im Wesentlichen wandparallelen Abschlussfläche (3, 4) des Einbaugegenstandes (2) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    der Hinterfütterungsabschnitt (8) von dem oberen Rand des Zargenbandes (6) mit einer Länge L beabstandet angeordnet ist, so dass sich das Zargenband (6) hinter einer auf dem Hinterfütterungsabschnitt (8) aufsetzbaren Abdeckplatte (13) im wesentlichen parallel zu dieser Abdeckplatte (13) erstrecken kann,
    das Zargenband (6) wenigstens teilweise aus flexiblem Material besteht und zur Schallentkoppelung mit zusätzlichen Schallentkopplungsprofilen (11, 12) versehen ist.
  2. Zarge nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zarge (5) wenigstens teilweise aus Kunststoff, aus textilem Werkstoff und/oder aus Metall gefertigt ist.
  3. Zarge nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Selbstklebeband (7) und/oder eine Klebedichtmasse zur Befestigung des Zargenbands (6) vorhanden ist.
  4. Zarge nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Selbstklebeband (7) zugleich ein Dicht und/oder Schallentkopplungsband ist.
  5. Zarge nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Hinterfütterungsabschnitt (8) mit dem Zargenband (6) verbunden ist.
  6. Zarge nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Schutzstreifen (10) in Verlängerung des Hinterfütterungsabschnitts (8) vorgesehen ist.
  7. Zarge nach einem der Ansprüche 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Perforation (9) zwischen Schutzstreifen (10) und dem Hinterfütterungsabschnitt (8) vorgesehen ist.
  8. Zarge nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Hutprofil (15) vorgesehen ist.
  9. Bad- oder Duschwanne, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Zarge (5) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche angebracht ist.
