Pancake-Verpackungen, welche die Verwendung von Styropor vermeiden und welche wiederverwendbar oder recyclingfähig sind, sind in dem DE-GM 90 11 867 sowie in der deutschen Anmeldung P 40 25 906 beschrieben. Diese Verpackungsbehälter bedingen jedoch Teilevielfalt und bieten teilweise ungenügenden Schutz des Inhalts beim Transport sowie gegen Staub. Deshalb bestand die Aufgabe, eine Verpackung für Pancakes zu finden, welche gleichzeitig folgende Bedingungen erfüllt:
- Beschränkung des Anteils der wegzuwerfenden Verpackungsmaterialien auf das geringste nur mögliche Maß
- einfacher Aufbau
- transport- und staubsichere Unterbringung der Pancakes
- einfach zusammenzusetzen und auszupacken
- geringes Volumen beim Rücktransport
- wiederverwendbar
- keine zusätzliche Außenverpackung erforderlich.

Erfindungsgemäß wurde die Aufgabe gelöst mit einer Verpackung mit den im Anspruchs 1 genannten Merkmalen. In einer geeigneten Form ist der Verpackungsbehälter einteilig ausgeführt und besteht, wie Figur 1 zeigt, aus einem flachen Teil, wobei Bodenteil (1), Deckelteil (2) sowie die vier Seitenteile (19) durch sogenannte Filmscharniere (24), knickbare Verbindungslaschen, zusammengehalten werden. Die Teile können abgewinkelt werden, so daß ein quaderförmiger Behälter daraus entsteht, wie Figur 2 zeigt. Durch ein (nicht gezeichnetes) Gurtband, welches um die umlaufende Vertiefung (25) des zusammengeklappten Behälters gelegt wird, wird dieser zum Transport gesichert. Zusätzlich kann das Gurtband einen Tragegriff enthalten, wobei an der Stelle des Tragegriffs die Außenseite der Verpackung eine Griffmulde enthalten kann. Die Verpackung selbst erzeugt keinen Staub, wie zum Beispiel Kartonverpackungen, und könnte auch als Einheit in einen Reinraum gebracht werden. Diese Leisten beziehungsweise Nuten können durch entsprechende technische Maßnahmen einrastbar gestaltet sein. Claims (10)
- A one-part or two-part right parallelepiped packaging container consisting of plastic and intended for tape-like recording media which are stacked one on top of the other and are wound on hubs provided with inner holes, consisting of a bottom part (1), a lid part (2) and side parts (19) which are either connected to one another via integral injection molded film hinges (24) or the bottom part and/or lid part are connected to one another by at least one side part via integral injection molded film hinges, and the hub support can be pushed through the inner holes of the hubs,
the packaging container having indentations (3, 4) in the geometric center of the inside of the bottom part (1) and of the lid part (2), from which indentations project individual protuberances (5, 6, 7, 8) between which the end faces (9, 10) of the hub support (11) can be inserted in a nonrotatable manner,
a heel (12) in the form of an annular segment for supporting the hubs (13) being arranged on the end face (10) of the hub support (11) which engages the bottom part (1),
the hub support having a U-shaped carrying handle (14), provided with two locking positions, for pulling the hub support with the recording media out of the packaging in the unfolded state, the two limbs (15, 16) of the carrying handle (14) fitting into recesses close to the outside of the end face (9) engaging the lid part (2), and the grip (27) connecting the two limbs not projecting beyond the end face (9) in the lower locking position, and the hub support having a recess (17) as a grip depression for the carrying handle (14) in the center of the end face (9), and
sealing strips (18) being provided at the outer edges of the side parts (19) and/or of the lid part (2), which strips engage complementary grooves (20) in the lid part (2) and/or in the side parts (19) when the packaging container is closed. - A packaging container as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer surfaces of the packaging container have an all-round indentation (25) for receiving a belt and a further indentation (28) for receiving a label.
- A packaging container as claimed in claim 2, wherein the indentation (28) is provided with recessed grips for removing the label.
- A packaging container as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bottom part (1) possesses, on its inside, at two or more opposite corners, recessed grips (21) for lifting out the recording media.
- A packaging container as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sealing strips (18) engage complementary grooves (23) at the corresponding edges of the outside of the bottom part and/or the grooves (20) of the lid part for non-slip stacking of a plurality of packaging containers one on top of the other.
- A packaging container as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least the outsides of the bottom part and of the lid part are provided with dot patterns.
- A packaging container as claimed in any of claims 1 to 6, wherein the hub support possesses, over its entire height, two concave troughs (25, 26) opposite one another for removing individual recording media.
- A packaging container as claimed in claim 1, wherein, when a plurality of containers are unfolded and stacked one on top of the other, protuberances (5) on the inside of the bottom part engage corresponding recesses on the outside of the adjacent bottom part.
- A packaging container as claimed in any of claims 1 to 7, wherein the container consists of rigid plastic, such as polypropylene or an acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene copolymer.
- A packaging container as claimed in any of claims 1 to 8, wherein the bottom part, side parts and lid part are produced with double walls by the extrusion blow molding method.
