Der Druckkopf und sonstige Teile des Schreibwerkes sind nicht dargestellt. Sie können beispielsweise in der Form ausgebildet sein, wie dies in der deutschen Offenlegungsschrift 23 43 858 dargestellt ist. Auf der Führungsstange 10 ist ein Messerschlitten 12 verschiebbar gelagert, an dem ein nicht dargestelltes Rollenmesser gelagert ist. An dem Messerschlitten 12 ist ein dünnes Seil 14 eingehängt, das über drei Umlenkrollen 16, 18, 20 geführt ist und mit mehreren Windungen ein zylindrisches hülsenförmiges Antriebselement 22 eines allgemein mit 24 bezeichneten Freilaufes umschlingt. Die Schwinge 42 ist um eine zu den Wellen 34, 40 parallele Schwenkwelle 46 schwenkbar und auf dieser mit Reibung gleitend in dem Rahmen des Schreibwerkes gelagert und wird durch eine Zugfeder 48 in eine Lage vorgespannt, in der die oberen Transportwalzen 38 von den unteren Transportwalzen 32 abgehoben sind. Nach Abschluß eines Druckvorganges, während dessen sich der Messerschlitten 12 in einer in der Figur rechts gelegenen Ruhestellung außerhalb der Bewegungsbahn des Druckkopfes befindet, fährt der nicht dargestellte Druckkopf über das Ende seiner normalen Bewegungsbahn hinaus und wird dabei automatisch mit dem Messerschlitten 12 gekoppelt. Er schleppt dann bei einer entgegengesetzten Bewegung den Messerschlitten in einem Schneidehub in Richtung des Pfeiles B quer über den Aufzeichnungsträger, wobei das nicht dargestellte Rollenmesser den bedruckten Abschnitt 28 vom Aufzeichnungsträger abtrennt. Bei dieser Bewegung wird die Hülse 22 des Freilaufes 24 über das Seil 14 in Richtung des Pfeiles C frei gedreht. Die Abtriebswelle 54 wird dabei nicht mitbewegt, so daß auch die Transportvorrichtung 30 in Ruhe bleibt. Anschließend kehren der Druckkopf und der immer noch mit ihm verbundene Messerschlitten 12 entgegen der Richtung des Pfeiles B in einem Rückkehrhub in die Ausgangsstellung zurück, in der die Verbindung zwischen dem Druckkopf und dem Messerschlitten automatisch wieder gelöst wird, wie dies beispielsweise in der DE-OS 23 43 858 beschrieben ist. Anstelle der dort beschriebenen elektromechanischen Kupplung könnte auch eine rein mechanische Kupplung vorgesehen sein, die beim Anfahren des Druckerschlittens an den Messerschlitten automatisch einkuppelt und beim Abliefern des Messerschlittens in seiner Ruhestellung automatisch wieder gelöst wird.

In dem Moment, in dem der Messerschlitten 12 seine Ausgangsstellung wieder erreicht hat und über den Freilauf 24 kein Drehmoment übertragen wird, hebt die Zugfeder 48 die Schwinge 42 wieder an, so daß beim weiteren Vorschub des Aufzeichnungsträgers dessen Vorderkante wieder bequem zwischen die unteren und oberen Transportwalzen eingeschoben werden kann.The rotational movement of the output shaft 54 is transmitted via the gear 52 to the intermediate gear 50 and from there to the gear 44. Claims (7)

  1. Device for transporting separated sections (28) of a continuous recording substrate from a recording mechanism, said recording mechanism comprising a cutting unit (12) for separating the sections (28) from the recording substrate, which cutting unit can be moved, in a cutting stroke and in a return stroke, transversely to the direction of transport (A) of the recording substrate to and fro across its width, having transport elements (32, 38) which are disposed behind the cutting station in the direction of transport (A) and can be driven to create a motion grasping the separated section (28) and to create a transporting motion for the advancement of the separated section (28), characterized in that the transport elements (32, 38) are coupled by means of a gear arrangement (14, 24, 52, 50, 44, 36) to the cutting unit (12) in such a way that they can be driven, both for the grasping motion and for the transporting motion, by the return stroke of the cutting unit (12).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the gear arrangement (14, 24, 52, 50, 44, 36) comprises a one-way clutch (24).
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the one-way clutch exhibits a freewheeling mechanism (24).
  4. Device according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the cutting unit comprises a carrier (12) for a blade, which carrier is displaceably guided transversely to the direction of transport (A), and in that the carrier (12) is connected to the one-way clutch (24) by a control cable (14) which entwines, at least partially, a drive element (22) of the one-way clutch (24) and forms a part of the gear arrangement (14, 24, 52, 50, 44, 36).
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that in the control cable (14) a tension spring (26) is disposed which tensions said control cable.
  6. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the transport elements are transport rollers (32, 38) which interact in pairs and can be driven in opposite directions and which form a roller nip for grasping the separated sections (28) of the recording substrate.
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the one (38), respectively, of the transport rollers (32, 38) interacting in pairs is mounted on a rocker (42), which is in turn mounted pivotably about a swivel axis (46) parallel to the roller axes (43, 40) and is pretensioned into its position remote from the respective other, fixedly mounted transport roller (32), and in that the gear arrangement (14, 24, 52, 50, 44, 36) comprises an intermediate gearwheel (50), which is disposed coaxially to the swivel axis (46) of the rocker (42) and which mates, on the one hand, with a gearwheel (52) connected in a rotationally secure manner to a drive element (22) of the one-way clutch (24) and, on the other hand, with a gearwheel (44) which is connected in a rotationally secure manner to the shaft (40) of the transport roller (38) mounted in the rocker (42) and is designed to engage with an identical gearwheel (36) seated on the shaft (34) of the other transport roller.
