Abstract

In the case of known paint spray booths, the exhaust air is removed by means of venturi scrubbing installations arranged under said booths. Frequently occurring disruptions to the production flow caused by clogging, a high noise level and elaborate dirt separating installations, and also by deposits in the water feed pipes, have disadvantageous effects. The novel arrangement is intended to reduce considerably or even eliminate the disadvantages mentioned. For this purpose, underneath sloping trickle plates (3, 3', 4, 5) of the venturi scrubbing installation there are arranged specifically the scrubbing nozzle (11) vertically, the scrubbing nozzle itself (11) and a following system of knocking-down bars (12) off-centrally and an exhaust air duct (15) is conducted inside the basic dimensions of the paint spray booth. The bottom plate (B) of the water distributer channel (R) runs over its entire length at a slope to the plates of the scrubber (W) and directly joins the bottom pan (BW), forming a water through-flow gap (SP) with respect to the neighbouring channel side (RS1). The circulating water feed pipes (ZR) open out in the head region (RK) of the channel (R) into the latter and arranged in the region between the feed pipes (ZR) and the water through-flow gap (SP) are baffle plates or distributor plates (VT) for making the water flow more uniform. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to the preamble of claim 1, on an arrangement for cleaning the exhaust air from spray paint booths and finds in particular Use on so-called Venturi washout systems.

It is known to discharge the exhaust air from spray paint booths or corresponding painting lines via washout systems arranged below them (US Pat. No. 4,700,615). This is intended to wash out the so-called "overspray" contained in the exhaust air. These wash-out systems are designed in such a way that, directly under the grate of the spray paint booth, trickle plates are provided inclined from the sides towards the center and towards the latter. The exhaust air is fed directly to the Venturi nozzles by means of these trickle plates, which are flushed from the sides with a washing liquid. The exhaust air swirled with the washing liquid is separated from it again by a downstream system of baffle plates. The exhaust air is then extracted via an exhaust air duct located next to the spray paint booths.
The washing liquid which absorbs the overspray and all other impurities, e.g. production residues, such as film residues, plastic parts and the like, as well as other dirt particles, is fed to a collecting tank via one or more collecting troughs, partly disposed of and fed back into the feed system of the washing system.

In addition to the production flow disruption due to clogging the washout system are the noise level that large dimensions of the plant and the difficult separation of paint and contaminants due to the desired as complete a paint recovery as possible negative appearances.

In addition, an arrangement is known from FR-A 2 135 733 for cleaning the exhaust air from spray paint booths known in which under a spray paint booth a venturi washout system with baffles and flow plates Washer fluid and exhaust air routing included a supply system for the sprinkler and wash water are provided, where the washout nozzle not eccentrically seen transversely to the conveying direction is located directly under the conveyor belt. Also This solution has the above disadvantages still largely on.

Another problem with known systems is that particularly in the water distribution channels that for a constant and even sprinkling of the wall and / or floor surfaces of the spray booths, with the time stops the solid particles from being deposited, which is then still in a complex manner by Need to be eliminated from time to time.

This is based on the prior art from DE-PS 39 21 114, which i.a. a special kind the arrangement of the water supply pipes within the Propagation channels suggests a solid sedimentation counteract on the gutter floor. Practice has shown, however, that such System produces insufficient results.

This results in the object of the invention Creation of an arrangement for cleaning the exhaust air from spray paint booths using Venturi washout systems, which has a lower noise level as well as smaller dimensions in their lateral, transverse to Dimensioning of workpiece conveying direction has production flow disturbances due to clogging prevents and continues to be absolutely safe and reliable Way of creating any kind of deposits counteracts in the water distribution organs.

The solution to this task and the necessary ones Means and measures are in claim 1 specified; the subclaims are advantageous Further training and supplementary measures by technical teaching of the main claim, the Advantages in the following based on drawing sketches to possible embodiments also are explained in more detail.

Die Elemente 3, 4 und 6 sind auch so angeordnet, daß der Luftkanal 14 im wesentlichen außermittig liegt.FIG. 1 shows a spray paint booth in cross section with an underlying arrangement for Cleaning the exhaust air according to the invention. Below a grate 2 of a cabin 1 are predominantly over the over the entire base area trickle sheets 3 and 4 arranged. These 3 and 4 are inclined on one side and Partially overlap, creating an air duct 14 arises. The lower trickle plate 4 is at his to the washout nozzle 11 pointing, higher lying edge with a weir 6. The elements 3, 4 and 6 are also arranged so that the air duct 14 essentially is off-center.

At the lower edge there is a collecting channel 8, which is preferably part of the pouring plate 4.
A so-called Venturi wash-out system is arranged downstream of these flow plates 3 and 4 and below these 3 and 4. According to the invention, the washout nozzle 11 is arranged with a vertically oriented flow direction, and it itself 11 and the system of baffle plates following this 11 are eccentric, based on the cross-section of the spray paint booth, for acoustic reasons and are arranged under at least one pouring plate.
A further feed system 9 for washing liquid is assigned to the guide plates 10 upstream of the washout nozzle 11. The exhaust air duct 15, which has previously been outside the basic dimensions of the cabin 1, is an integrated component according to the invention and is located under at least one trickle plate.

The air flow in these systems leads to the Spray painting resulting overspray as well as others Particles such as dirt, film residues, plastic parts and Like. Through the grate 2 in the area of the washout system. Through the design according to the invention from a feed system located above 7 trickling plates rinsed with a washing liquid 3 and 4, the dirt and other contaminants flushed into the collecting trough 8 and not in one shown tank caught.

That of waste, production residues or the like. freed exhaust air, which is only contaminated with the overspray passes through the formed by the trickle plates 3 and 4 Air duct 14 to the washout nozzle 11. Through this 11 and the subordinate system of tee plates 12 the overspray is washed out of the exhaust air, the exhaust air itself dehumidifies and over the Extracted air duct 15. Via a trough 13 becomes the washing liquid mixed with the overspray fed to a collecting tank.

The dirty washing liquid and the Washing liquid containing paint particles thus clearly separated and in downstream systems disposed of or recycled. The main advantages of Arrangement according to the invention are in the reduction the noise level, the reduction in susceptibility to interference of the continuous flow of production, one better condition for an almost complete "Overspray paint" recovery and in economically constructive Savings such as the diminished Space requirements.

The essential and fundamentally new in the present inventive feed system 7, 9, can be seen in the fact that the bottom plate B of the channel R inclined over its entire length to the plates 3, 4 and 3 ', 4', 5 and 10 of the Washer W runs and immediately forms a water passage gap SP to the adjacent channel side RS 1 to the floor pan BW, that the circulating water supply pipes ZR open into the head area RK of the channel R and that in the area between the supply pipes ZR and the water passage gap SP baffles or distributor plates VT are arranged to equalize the water flow, see FIG. 4.

The constant in this new technical teaching Movement of water film thus prevents it simple way of any sedimentation any one of the components and thus enables one continuous operation without cleaning breaks and with the lowest circulating water volume.

In a special structural design, it can also be provided in such a system that distributor plates VT also run inclined to the horizontal, extend over the entire length of the channel R and are labyrinthine from both sides RS 1 and RS 2 of the channel R and partially overlap Ü are directed towards one another and are arranged at a height distance A from one another, the distributor or baffle plates VT furthermore variable or adjustable on the channel walls RS 1 in terms of their angle of inclination β and / or their effective length L and / or overlap Ü and mutual height distance A and RS 2 can be arranged.

A possible further development is in one embodiment shown in Figure 2. At this Variant is the inclination of the trickle plates 3 'and 5 from the outside to the inside. In the overlapping area with the deeper edges is preferably each a collecting trough 8 is provided, the here too Collecting channel 8 is an integral part of the flow plates 3 'and 5 can be. The outside of each gutter 8 is advantageously a weir 6 'or 6' ' educated. This variant takes place especially at very high dirt application.

In the exemplary embodiments according to the figures 1 and 2 is with a cross-flooding of the trickle plates 3, 4 and 3 ', 5 worked, i.e. the flow direction of the Washing liquid on the flow plates 3, 3 ', 4 and 5 runs transverse to the workpiece transport direction.

As with previous Venturi washout systems known, can also be the inventive arrangement under several spray paint booths, spray paint streets, hereinafter called Appendix A, extend.

This advantageously finds another, in 3 and 3a shown further development of the invention Application. Compared to the above longitudinal flooding is provided here. The trickle sheets 3 and 4 are preferred in the longitudinal direction of Appendix A. arranged inclined on one side.

Advantages for the air flow and the pressure conditions result from a division of the pouring plate 4. Here, a pouring plate 4 'is provided at the same height as the pouring plate 4, indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 3.
The correspondingly narrower pouring plate 4 is located below the pouring plates 3 and 4 '.

A, siehe Fig. 3a.The collecting channel 8 is preferably for the dirty water liquid on one and that Feed system 7 on the opposite end S of system A, see Fig. 3a.

Especially for systems with a long length it is structurally advantageous to use several trickle plates in the longitudinal direction 3, 4, 4 'to be cascaded.

In addition, there is also an additional side Inclination of these 3, 4, as conceivable in Fig.1.

The advantage of this training lies in particular in the low need of washing liquid.

Depending on the task at hand and structural In practice, one of the conditions described variants, or even several to one summarized, find application.
