Claims (10)
- Dispositif d'application de couches, en particulier dispositif d'enduction au déroulé sur des bandes de papier ou de carton, dans lequel :- il est prévu au guidage, une racle d'application de couche (4, 30) au contact de la bande près d'un rouleau de celle bande ou directement au niveau de ce rouleau par son bord ou le long d'une ligne d'enduction, ainsi qu'une chambre (10) dans laquelle le produit d'enduction est soumis à une surpression par rapport à l'atmosphère.- le produit d'enduction peut être amené de la chambre par l'intermédiaire d'une embouchure parallèle à la bande c'est-à-dire au rouleau d'appui, à l'embouchure occupant toute la largeur de la bande ou du rouleau, associée à une racle d'application à lame ou à rouleau,- le produit en excès se trouvant au moins à proximité de la racle peut être évacué par au moins un ou plusieurs canaux parallèles (7, 7', 7'', 7'''; 22, 25, 27) répartis selon la direction de l'axe de rotation du rouleau, dans une zone éloignée de celui-ci.- un élément de recouvrement (1, 1', 1''; 35, 36) est disposé près du rouleau, au moins dans sa partie proche de la racle (9, 30) tandis que les canaux d'évacuation (7, 7', 7'', 7'''; 22, 25, 37) sont placés le long de sa paroi opposée éloignée du rouleau.Ce dispositif étant caractérisé en ce que l'élément de recouvrement (1, 1', 1''; 35, 36) forme, le long de la racle d'enduction (4, 30), jusqu'à proximité du bord de la racle ou d'une ligne d'enduction de cette racle (4, 30), une fente ou un canal d'étranglement (8, 8', 8'') conduisant le produit jusqu'au bord ou à la ligne d'enduction, tandis que le canal d'évacuation (7, 7', 7'', 7''', 37), disposé en coupe parallèlement à l'axe du rouleau, à la forme d'une fente présentant un effet élevé d'étranglement sur toute la longueur du rouleau, ou encore les canaux, répartis sur toute la largeur de la bande, sont équipés d'un dispositif réglable d'étranglement (21, 25).
- Dispositif d'enduction selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le second canal d'étranglement ((8) a une longueur (F), dans la direction d'ecoulement le long de la lame ou du support de racle, comprise entre 5 et 25 mm, de préférence 5 et 25 mm, tandis que sa largeur (e) est comprise entre 3 et 15, de préférence 5 et 8 mm.
- Dispositif d'enduction selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, outre l'embouchure (11) de la chambre de dépôt (10) ou son canal de sortie (11') et l'élément de recouvrement (1, 1', 1'', 1'''), une embase (5, 5', 5'') qui forme avec cet élément, par leurs faces en regard, le canal d'évacuation (7, 7', 7'', 7'''; 22, 37).
- Dispositif selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de recouvrement (1) à l'extrémité du second canal (8) qu'il forme avec la lame (4) ou le support de racle et à proximité du bord d'enduction de l'élément racleur, se termine essentiellement par un bord de rayon de courbure ne dépassant pas 2 mm, de préférence égal à 1 mm environ, ce bord se trouvant, par rapport au rouleau d'appui (2), à une distance (s) comprise entre 3 et 15 mm, de préférence 5 à 10 mm.
- Dispositif selon une des revendication 3 ou 4, caractérisé en ce que l'embase (5) est disposée, par rapport à la lame (4) ou au support de racle, à une distance ne dépassant pas plus de 10 mm la distance séparant l'élément de recouvrement (1) de la lame (4) ou du support de racle, mais qui est au moins égale à la largeur (e) du second canal d'étranglement (8) formé le long de la racle (4, 30).
- Dispositif selon une des revendications 3 à 5, caractérisé en ce que l'embase (5) le long de son bord proche de la lame (4) ou du support de racle, dans la zone du premier canal de l'évacuation (7), présente un arrondi ayant un rayon d'au moins 5 mm.
- Dispositif selon une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la hauteur (largeur) du premier canal d'évacuation (7) est comprise entre 3 et 6 mm.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que la longueur du premier canal d'évacuation (7) est de dix à vingt fois sa hauteur.
- Dispositif selon une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le premier canal d'évacuation (7''') peut être modulé dans son action de dosage, au moyen d'un tiroir (21) percé d'orifices de dosage (22).
- Dispositif d'enduction selon une des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de recouvrement (1), le canal d'évacuation (7) et le second canal (R) occupent sensiblement toute la longueur de la lame d'enduction (4) ou du support de racle (31), l'élément de recouvrement (1) étant constitué essentiellement d'une bande ou d'une plaque, à profil plat ou courbé, dont la distance, par rapport au bord d'application de la lame (4) ou du rouleau d'enduction (30) comme par rapport au rouleau d'appui, s'accroît constamment, à partir d'un minimum de 1 mm (distance par rapport au rouleau) et de 10 mm (distance par rapport au bord d'application).
