Definitions
- the invention relates to an oven according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such an oven is known from DE-OS 23 10 290.
- a largely closed, elongated air duct is provided above the furnace muffle, into which the pressure side of a cooling air fan tires.
- a vapor opening likewise opens into the air duct, through which strongly heated vapors can enter during operation of the oven and into the air duct and are discharged to the outside together with the heated air coming from the surrounding area of the furnace muffle.
- This system requires a cooling air blower.
- the invention has for its object to improve an oven of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 so that an effective and targeted heat dissipation is made possible in a very simple manner and without the installation of a special cooling air blower.
- the more or less strongly heated air flow which occurs during operation of the oven due to natural convection, is collected in a tray-like cavity, this cavity being arranged at one point on the appliance, where the convection current is hottest. This is usually the point immediately above the furnace muffle or its muffle flange on the front of the housing, that is, where the air outlet opening is usually located. In this room, a certain overpressure is created by the inflowing warm or hot air, which in turn causes a targeted outflow of this air to the outside.
- this space i.e.
- the less hot air from the vicinity of the oven muffle is also mixed very intimately with the very hot air from the oven cavity of the oven muffle, whereby a mixing temperature is set for the exhaust air flowing out of the oven housing, which is significantly lower than the temperature of the Air flowing directly out of the cooking space.
- Very hot air can be supplied from the oven muffle itself via a separate vapor duct, which opens out below the air trap in the handle area and / or from the flange or door area of the oven muffle, which also heats up strongly during operation of the oven and which is caused by natural Convection rising, strongly heated air is directed into the above-mentioned collecting space and mixed there in the specified manner.
- the oven according to the figures is designed as a so-called built-in oven and has an outer oven housing 1, with which it rests on a base plate 2 of a piece of kitchen furniture, not shown. Inside the furnace housing 1 there is (indicated only schematically in FIG. 2) a cuboid, metallic furnace muffle 3 with a muffle flange 4 surrounding a loading opening and an insulation 5 surrounding the furnace muffle 3.
- the oven muffle contains electrical heating elements, e.g. 6, in the form of a tubular heater and behind a baffle 7, an impeller 8, which is driven by a fan motor 9, which in turn carries a smaller fan wheel 10 on its outer shaft end, which mainly serves to cool the fan motor 9.
- the loading opening of the furnace muffle 3 can be closed by an furnace door 11, consisting of an outer door base 12 in the form of a transparent glass pane and an outer door leaf 13, also in the form of a transparent glass pane.
- a convection cavity 14 with air inlet openings at the bottom and air outlet openings at the top is formed between the door base 12 and the door leaf 13.
- a handle bar 15 is attached, which has a flow orifice 17 projecting beyond the front of the housing with a roof 18 drawn downward, which flow orifices 17 extend over the entire width of the oven and one over the handle bar 15 on the oven housing attached control panel 19 with display and controls, eg 20 extends.
- At least one air outlet opening 21 is incorporated in it, which e.g. is designed as an elongated, horizontal slot, which is covered by the flow orifice.
- an air catch tray is designated, which is attached to the furnace housing 1 in the area of the control panel 19 and protrudes rearward inside the housing space 23 and is inclined with a rear shell wall obliquely towards the rear of the housing, as shown in FIG. 2.
- This air-collecting tray 22 preferably also extends over the entire width of the oven or the oven housing 1.
- the tray wall 22 ' which is inclined downwards extends approximately to the insulation 5 of the oven muffle 3 and is directed downward with the open tray side and is the lower one Housing space 23 facing in the area of the furnace muffle 3.
- the arrow 24 shows the flow path for the vapors emerging from the furnace muffle, which is introduced into the air outlet opening in the grip area and mixes there with the air coming from the air collecting shell.
- the aforementioned air collecting tray 22 forms a collecting and storage space 25 for the air which rises from bottom to top during operation of the oven and rinses the insulation 5 of the oven muffle 3 and heats it up (represented by solid arrows).
- the hot air flowing upward into the cavity 14 in the oven door 11 likewise collects in the aforementioned space 25.
- An additional air flow is brought about during operation of the circulating air blower 9, as a result of which an additional air flow of the ambient air is brought about by the outer fan wheel 10. As can be seen from FIG.
- the lower roof-shaped edge of the flow diaphragm 17 is higher than the lower edge of the shell wall 22 '.
- the warm or hot air flowing into the storage space 25 generates a certain excess pressure, the air accumulated in the storage space 25 practically without resistance due to the different level from the lower edge of the shell wall 22 'and air outlet opening 21 and flow orifice 17/18 Flowing outward is forced into the open, a direct rise of this flowing air along the control panel 19 is prevented by the flow panel 17.
- the flow orifice 17 also prevents rising and warming air from reaching the control panel 19 along the front of the furnace door 11.
- the air collecting tray 22 can of course also extend more towards the rear wall of the oven than is shown in FIG. 2.
- this air trap which can also be a half-shell or the like, causes the warm air rising from the inside of the furnace muffle or in the vicinity thereof to be mixed, if necessary mixed and directed to a defined air outlet opening and into the open air is dissipated, even without an additional cooling fan.
- the downwardly drawn air trap also serves as a privacy screen with respect to the interior of the furnace housing 1.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an oven according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such an oven is known from DE-OS 23 10 290. Here, a largely closed, elongated air duct is provided above the furnace muffle, into which the pressure side of a cooling air fan tires. A vapor opening likewise opens into the air duct, through which strongly heated vapors can enter during operation of the oven and into the air duct and are discharged to the outside together with the heated air coming from the surrounding area of the furnace muffle. This system requires a cooling air blower. This also applies to another known oven (DE-AS 21 06 869), in which there is an air collecting chamber above the oven muffle or its insulation, into which air heated by a cooling air blower from the surrounding area of the oven muffle and from the switch room is sucked in and in turn discharged via an air duct to the outside.
If such a cooling air blower is not present - for example in the case of ovens of a simpler design - the problem arises that, due to the more or less strongly heated air in the upper housing area from the oven muffle itself or from the housing muffle surrounding this oven muffle, a heat build-up does not form only a problematic heating of the switch room, which is usually located above the furnace muffle, within the furnace housing, but also a problematic, strong heating of the side walls of the furnace housing, which can result in excessive heating of the kitchen furniture arranged to the side of the oven.
The invention has for its object to improve an oven of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 so that an effective and targeted heat dissipation is made possible in a very simple manner and without the installation of a special cooling air blower.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the measures listed in the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the following patent claims.
Due to the presence of the air collecting tray in the area of the preferably front outlet opening on the oven housing, the more or less strongly heated air flow, which occurs during operation of the oven due to natural convection, is collected in a tray-like cavity, this cavity being arranged at one point on the appliance, where the convection current is hottest. This is usually the point immediately above the furnace muffle or its muffle flange on the front of the housing, that is, where the air outlet opening is usually located. In this room, a certain overpressure is created by the inflowing warm or hot air, which in turn causes a targeted outflow of this air to the outside. Within this space, i.e. The less hot air from the vicinity of the oven muffle is also mixed very intimately with the very hot air from the oven cavity of the oven muffle, whereby a mixing temperature is set for the exhaust air flowing out of the oven housing, which is significantly lower than the temperature of the Air flowing directly out of the cooking space. Very hot air can be supplied from the oven muffle itself via a separate vapor duct, which opens out below the air trap in the handle area and / or from the flange or door area of the oven muffle, which also heats up strongly during operation of the oven and which is caused by natural Convection rising, strongly heated air is directed into the above-mentioned collecting space and mixed there in the specified manner. The warm air collected in the air trap by natural convection alone creates a certain overpressure in this room, which causes it to flow outside, which is favored by the fact that this air has less flow resistance to the outlet opening due to its special arrangement than in all other directions , so that there is a forced and targeted outflow of warm air.
For ovens in which an operating panel or a switch panel with operating and display elements is arranged above the oven door, there are particular advantages if the air collecting tray located inside the oven housing is followed by a flow panel which at least covers the outlet opening and projects beyond the front of the housing. In this way, the heated air flowing up or out of the furnace door is prevented from directly reaching the area of the upper control panel. Rather, the air flow is pushed away from this control panel, favored by the air flow that comes from the air collecting pan. By means of a corresponding roof-shaped design, this flow orifice is practically incorporated into the air collecting shell and the overpressure space formed thereby.
The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
- Fig. 2 eine Schnittansicht des Backofens gemäß Fig. 1.
- 1 is a perspective view of the oven according to the invention,
- FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of the oven according to FIG. 1.
The oven according to the figures is designed as a so-called built-in oven and has an outer oven housing 1, with which it rests on a base plate 2 of a piece of kitchen furniture, not shown. Inside the furnace housing 1 there is (indicated only schematically in FIG. 2) a cuboid, metallic furnace muffle 3 with a muffle flange 4 surrounding a loading opening and an insulation 5 surrounding the furnace muffle 3. The oven muffle contains electrical heating elements, e.g. 6, in the form of a tubular heater and behind a baffle 7, an
