Description

The invention relates to a device for removing vapors from an oven according to the preamble of claim 1.

In a known baking and roasting oven (DE 29 04 389 A1), a vapor outlet opening is provided at the rear of the oven, which communicates fluidically with a rear opening of a cooking hob arranged above the oven, from where the through which is arranged in the interior of the oven motor-driven fan emits vapors pressed upwards or can be partially extracted by an extractor hood arranged at a distance above the hob. Here, even when the extractor hood is switched on, an impairment of the kitchen air by the hot and greasy vapors as well as a condensation of the same on kitchen furniture and the like cannot be prevented. In another known vapor evacuation system (DE 27 05 395 B2), an outlet opening is provided at an upper, rearward position of a range cooker, with which both a vapor channel coming from the oven muffle and an exhaust air duct for the heated ambient air, which ends above the oven muffle in the interior of the housing, is connected. The standing hearth has an upper cover plate which has a cavity which is coupled in terms of flow in the pivoted-up position of the cover plate with the aforementioned outlet opening and in which vertical cavity the mixture of vapors and ambient air is supplied to an extractor hood arranged at a distance above the standing stove. Such a vapor removal system is unsuitable for use in built-in ovens in kitchen units, since an exhaust air duct firmly connected to the oven located immediately below an upper cabinet and forming the aforementioned cavity creates considerable difficulties in the assembly and disassembly of the built-in oven, and in this connection the requirements given in built-in ovens Heat disposal at the furnace periphery (eg in the "pyrolytic self-cleaning" operating mode) are not taken into account.

The invention has for its object to design a device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 such that in addition to favorable assembly and disassembly properties and, if necessary, retrofitting of the system "oven-vapor removal" the best possible heat disposal in the installation area of the oven is obtained.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the measures listed in the characterizing part of claim 1.

The mechanical separation of the exhaust air duct and the oven enables installation independent of the other system part (oven or exhaust air line) or disassemble the oven or the exhaust air duct. There is, for example, the possibility in a simple manner of retrofitting an oven provided with a rear outlet opening with such an exhaust air line, for which purpose, for example, only the rear wall of the upper cabinet has to be temporarily removed. Conversely, the oven can be dismantled for repair purposes, for example, without the exhaust air duct being affected. At the same time, this mechanical separation and the loose fluid connection between the aforementioned parts results in the advantage that not only exhaust air from the oven itself, but also heated air from the vicinity of the oven is discharged through the exhaust air line, so that it is also conceivable to use an oven equipped with a pyrolytic self-cleaning device and heated in this mode up to 500 ° C in the muffle interior without the device's own cooling system, provided that a suction fan with a correspondingly high suction power is arranged outside the oven in the flow path of the exhaust air. For this purpose, a separate blower can advantageously be located in the exhaust air line, this blower being connected in terms of circuitry to the control device of the baking oven and can be switched on and off together with operating functions of the baking oven. Placing this blower behind the top cabinet results in considerable noise insulation during blower operation.

The aforementioned exhaust air duct can be connected directly to a wall box leading into the open or end above the upper cabinet, it being possible for a grease filter to be arranged in the area of this upper exhaust air outlet, which already contains the remaining stocks of fatty exhaust air components in the area of the outlet opening of the Fields formed low-fat air / vapor mixture fields.

The invention is explained below with reference to exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.

In Figure 1, a so-called built-in oven 1 is shown in a simplified and schematic manner, consisting of a heatable oven muffle 2, which is surrounded by insulation 3 and whose front loading opening can be closed by an oven door 4. The oven muffle 2 is arranged within a rectangular oven housing 5, which has a switch room 6 above the oven muffle 2, in which electrical or electronic components 7 and associated control elements 8 of a control device for the oven, which is not further described, are arranged. In the area of the rear of the switch room 6 there is also a cooling air blower 9, also indicated only schematically, the suction side of which is indirect to the cavities between the oven muffle 2 and the oven housing 5 that move the oven muffle 2 is technically connected and the pressure side opens into a rear air discharge duct 10, which in turn is connected to an outlet opening 11 located at the rear of the upper boundary of the oven housing 5, which outlet opening can extend over part or over the entire width of the oven housing 5. A vapor channel 12 also opens into the air discharge duct, which in turn opens into the furnace muffle 2 at the rear. When the oven 1 is in heating mode, for example in the “pyrolytic self-cleaning” operating mode, the cooling air blower 9 is also switched on together with the selection of the operating mode, in order to thereby discharge the heated housing air from the surrounding area of the oven muffle 2 through the outlet opening 11 in the manner described above, namely together with the hot and fatty vapors that arise in the interior of the oven muffle 2, which occurs particularly frequently when the oven is in grilling mode. In the area of the air discharge duct 10, the vapor is intimately mixed with the substantially cooler housing air drawn in by the cooling air blower 9, this vapor / air mixture receiving a significantly lower temperature and a lower specific fat content. Due to the negative pressure generated during operation of the cooling air blower 9 in the switch room 6 and in the other cavities surrounding the oven muffle 2, cool air flows from outside through air gaps 13 in the direction of the arrow into the interior of the oven housing 5, flows around the oven muffle 2 or the thermally unstable one Control device and is sucked in by the cooling fan 9 and emitted to the outside in the manner explained, in this way the heat being drawn off from the surrounding area of the furnace muffle 2. In the exemplary embodiment, the oven 1 is installed in a kitchenette, ie it stands on a base cabinet 14 and above it is an upper cabinet 15, with between An air gap 16 remains on the upper edge of the oven 1 and the lower edge of the upper cabinet.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, there is a tall cabinet 17 on the one side, along with base cabinet 14, oven 1 and upper cabinet 15, while another base cabinet 14 with worktop 18 is connected on the other side. The upper cabinet 15 located above the oven 1 has a smaller depth than the oven 1 and possibly also as the other kitchen furniture, so that a niche 20 with the depth T of approximately 18 cm remains between the rear of the upper cabinet 15 and the partition 19. Mounted in this niche 20 is an exhaust air line 21, which is only indicated schematically in FIG. 1 and which is of tubular design at least in the upper region. This otherwise shaft-like exhaust air line 21 is now in loose fluid communication with the outlet opening 11 of the oven 1. This means that this exhaust air line 21 is not rigidly and technically tightly coupled to the outlet opening 11, but is arranged as a separate module at a distance above the outlet opening 11 It is provided that an elastic connecting part 22, for example a funnel-like inclined catch plate of the cable duct, lies sealingly against the lower, rear edge of the upper cabinet 15 and a vertical, extended connecting part 23 is also elastic or resiliently attached to the rear wall 24 of the oven 1 also lies sealingly. In this way, the exhaust line 21 is not only in fluid communication with the outlet opening 11, but also with the air gap 16 and with lateral air gaps between the oven 1 and, for example, tall cabinet 17, so that heat is also removed from the outer periphery of the oven 1. The necessary suction effect can be achieved by the Cooling air blower 9 causes air flow (arrow direction) in the exhaust air line and through the associated so-called injector effect, which the flowing medium exerts on the cavities outside the oven 1 or, as shown in FIG. 1, additionally or solely by a separate one designed as a pressure blower Fan 25 which is arranged in the exhaust air line 21 or on the exhaust air line with effect within the exhaust air line 21.

In the event that both a separate blower 25 and a cooling air blower 9 are provided, the fan power of the separate blower 25 should be greater than that of the cooling air blower 9, in order to back up the air mixture emerging from the outlet opening 11 and to flow out between the gaps in the To prevent kitchenette. If only the separate blower 25 is provided, such a back pressure is not to be feared, provided that there is no significant flow obstacle in the exhaust air line 21 above the blower 25. This exhaust air line 21 can be connected directly to a so-called wall box (not shown in the drawing), for example in the partition 19. In this case, it is advantageous if a backflow flap, also not shown, is provided in the exhaust air line 21 above the fan 25, since the wall box can represent a flow obstacle. In order to ensure synchronous operation of the oven 1 and fan 25, it is provided that this fan is connected to the control device of the oven 1 via electrical lines, also not shown, and can be switched on and off simultaneously with the oven heating by, for example, the control element 8.
line 21 shows. It can be seen that the exhaust air line 21 is formed in the lower region as a narrow and elongated shaft 26 which widens like a funnel at the lower end, for which purpose the aforementioned connecting part 22 and side parts 27 are used. Mounted on the shaft 26 is the blower 25 driven by an electric motor, the suction side of which is connected to the shaft 26 and the pressure side of which is connected to an elastic tube 28, for example, which represents the upper part of the exhaust air line 21. The fan 25 can be connected to the control device of the oven 1 via the electrical line 29. The upper cabinet 15 lying in front of the blower 25 is indicated by dash-dotted lines.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, a built-in oven 1 is again placed below an upper cabinet 15 and above a lower cabinet 14 and again has an outlet opening 11 on the rear according to FIG. In contrast to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the niche 30 between the partition 19 and the rear of the upper cabinet 15 is less deep than that according to FIG. 1. Accordingly, the exhaust duct 21 'is designed continuously in the form of a narrow shaft, for example corresponding to the shaft 26 according to FIG , here also elastic or resilient connecting parts 22 'or 23' are preferably provided at the lower shaft end. The exhaust air line 21 ′ ends at the level of the upper edge of the upper cabinet 15. A grease filter device 31 is arranged above this free line end, formed, for example, by a fat-absorbing paper filter 33 that can be unwound from a roller 32 and that is hidden on the rear side of the upper cabinet 15, for example on a support 34 runs and is very easy to remove when saturated. In this embodiment, the exhaust air is removed from the oven housing 5 and from its periphery exclusively by the cooling air blower 9. It is advantageous here if the exhaust air line 21 'is arranged at a short distance from the rear of the upper cabinet 15.
