Description

The invention relates to a hearing aid for the hard of hearing, esp especially on behind-the-ear devices, with a hearing aid part, such as e.g. microphone, amplifier, receiver, battery etc. Housing, its parts by releasable connecting elements, such as like screws, are held together, and with an audio Input connection.

The audio input is an electrical contact device, Via which an audio-frequency electrical signal directly -galva nisch- can be fed into the hearing aid amplifier. The audio input is often used in the hearing impaired Schools in connection with a "frequent listening facility" or with FM or infrared transmission systems and the like .. But also in The hard of hearing can be of many additions to the private sector such as handheld microphones, TV adapters, portable cassettes players etc. benefit from the audio input let it close.

From an electrical point of view, the audio input is a contact device tung, which either has a pin / socket combination or the connection of the output cable of a external signal source allows.

Due to the notorious lack of space in modern Ear devices are the make contact devices too Make and often even from model to model of an individual Manufacturer very different. This has been especially important in difficult subordinate schools to an unimaginably high number of different the connector and cable.

As a way out of this situation, the so-called "audio Schuh "suggested. It is a cup-like structure, that clamps or locks the lower part of the hearing aid closes. The audio shoe has contacts on the inside those who work with the individual contact devices of the be matching hearing aid are in harmony, and on its outside side a socket consisting of two or three sockets for has a standardized Euro audio plug. One of those Audio shoe is described in DE-PS 27 51 755, for example. There However, there is a special manufacturer for each type of hearing aid specific audio shoe required.

Due to the ongoing miniaturization of all individual parts Behind-the-ear hearing aids are also getting smaller and smaller, so that in most modern miniature constructions but still rarer Space for the contact device for an audio input fin det. This has led to the fact that today numerous miniature hearing Devices without audio input are on the market, especially for children would be particularly suitable, but of these only to a limited extent can be used. Lö, for example, offer a way out Solutions according to DE-GM 83 19 075, where it is proposed that Connector for the audio input in the form of a "jerk sacks "on the outside of the device. But this solution is not much attractive because it enlarges the device as a whole and the Backpack yes even if the audio input is present is not needed.

The object of the invention is to provide a hearing aid of the initially mentioned led kind of creating which the disadvantages described eliminated.

This is achieved according to the invention in that the audio one Gang connection via at least two of the detachable housings parts cohesive fasteners takes place.

The invention thus proposes at least two of the anyway existing fasteners, such as screws, with their Help held the two halves of the device housing together be used as a contact device for the audio input benefit.

This solution has the advantage that no special housing and no additional space required for the contact device is done. You also need an audio shoe with the audio shoe removed no components increasing the dimensions of the device.

  • Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht eines HdO-Hörgerätes, bei welchem erfindungsgemäße Audio-Eingangs-Anschlüsse vorgesehen werden können;
  • Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch das Hörgerätegehäuse im Bereich der Verbindungselemente;
  • Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf die untere Gehäuseschale mit einem gabelförmigen Anschlußkontakt;
  • The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. In the drawings show:
  • 1 shows a perspective view of a BTE hearing aid in which audio input connections according to the invention can be provided;
  • 2 shows a section through the hearing aid housing in the area of the connecting elements;
  • 3 shows a plan view of the lower housing shell with a fork-shaped connection contact;
  • 4 shows a section through part of a hearing aid housing with an audio shoe attached.
Fig. 1 shows schematically a BTE device housing, which as usual consists of two shell halves (1, 2) and through the screws (3, 4, 5) is held together, of which the screws (3, 4) can be used as connections for the audio input.

Fig. 2 shows in detail a sectional view of the inner structure tion of the housing in the area of one of the connecting elements 3 or 4. In the lower shell 2 there is a metallic stud bolt 6 injected with internal thread. There will be a screw in this 3 screwed in, which holds the upper shell 1 in place. The stud 6 can be injected with the lower shell 2 and consists of this case made of plastic.

To use screw 3 as a contact for an attached audio To be able to use the shoe, it is necessary to use the stud bolt 6 to be electrically connected to the circuit of the hearing aid. This takes place with the help of a compression spring 8, which in turn on the Amplifier board 7 is attached by riveting or soldering. Is If there is no space for this, you can use the stud bolts 6 - or in the event that this is made of plastic, the screw 3 itself - with the help of a hairpin-like fork spring con tact.

Fig. 3 shows such a solution as a plan view of the sub shell 2. A connecting wire 10 can be attached to the fork spring 9 to be soldered. Soldering directly to the stud is in Usually not expedient because of the risk of damage of the housing is given by the soldering heat. One can use the An connecting wire 10 also - as a non-detachable connection - to the Weld on bolt 6.

Fig. 4 shows in section a part of the housing in the area of Connecting element with an attached audio shoe 11. The shoe 11 contains resilient sleeves 12 for the euro audio connector that has a Ver via attached contact springs 13 create a connection to the housing screws.

It has been found to be advantageous if the head of the serving as a contact screw is conical and the end the contact spring 14 has the shape of a spherical cap. These Both parts form when the audio shoe is placed on the Hearing aid then has a clean, self-cleaning contact. The The housing is therefore not damaged by the contact springs. It is also advantageous to have at least those used as contacts to countersink the screw heads so far in the housing 1 that they No contact with the skin of the hearing when the device is in the position of use Device carriers can make unwanted electrical ef Avoid flaws or interference if there is no audio shoe is put on.

The resulting recesses in the housing can nen in cooperation with the spherical end of the contact springs 14 as a locking device for the entire audio shoe 11 serve.

Of course, a separate latching device is also possible. As the housing parts can be held together by connecting elements in addition to the screws commonly used, other be known embodiments, such as latching elements used become. Microphone, amplifier, receiver, battery, control element ments etc. are not shown in the figures because they are not essential to the present invention. These Parts are in the housing or in the state of the art. housed on the outside.
