Definitions
- the invention relates to a tacker with a power drive according to the preamble of the main claim (see for example US-A-3172124).
- the handle for triggering a driver blow can be kept pressed for the quick setting of a number of fastening means.
- the driver blow is triggered by placing the tacker on a workpiece using a button.
- Various difficulties can arise with this mode of operation. Once the operator gets used to enclosing the handle with the handle to trigger the driver blow. Unintentional pressure against the easily movable button can lead to unwanted staple ejection.
- the operator can press the tacker onto the workpiece in various ways.
- a driving tool which is equipped with a free-shot protection in the form of a leaf spring.
- the leaf spring presses the clips that are ready to be driven out of the firing channel into the interior of the magazine.
- the front plate can be moved against the force of this spring when it is placed on the workpiece, so that a clamp can get into the firing channel and be driven in.
- the invention is defined in claim 1.
- the tracker according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage of ensuring a uniform wrapping pattern even during fast stitching by means of pressure values caused by the device and of preventing increased wear due to contact erosion.
- the stop knob has the particular advantage that, as a result of the contact point of the end edge which is defined thereby, scattering of the latching force due to tolerances of the components is avoided.
- the limit force-directional locking mechanism forces the operator to apply the locking force before the trigger point of the switch actuated by the button is reached. The pressure applied by the operator after snapping in is sufficient to pull the tackle as far as it will go against the workpiece before the driver blow is carried out. It also overcomes the reaction force that occurs when the plunger magnet is pulled into the solenoid.
- FIG. 1 shows a partial longitudinal section through a tacker designed according to the invention
- FIG. 2 shows an enlarged side view of a leg leaf spring
- FIG. 3 shows a top view of FIG. 2.
- a tacker 1 contains in a housing 2 a magnet coil 3 for a diving magnet 4, a circuit board 5 with switching electronics and a driver 6.
- a driver 7 connects the diving magnet 4 with the driver 6 so that the diving magnet 4 drives the driver 6 in the driving direction can.
- a return spring 8 is pushed onto the immersion magnet 4 and is supported on the one hand on an end face of the magnet coil 3 and on the other hand on the driver 7.
- a guide rod 9 gives the immersion magnet 4 safe guidance. For this purpose, it is held in bearings 10 and 11 in housing 2.
- the lower end of the driver 6 in the illustration according to FIG. 1 can be moved in a channel 12 in the head 13 of a magazine magazine 14. A nose 15 of the head 13 projects beyond the underside of the tacking magazine 14.
- Two tabs 16 on the tacking magazine 14 have an elongated hole 17. With these elongated holes 17 the tacking magazine 14 is hung over a housing-side hub 18, which at the same time has a threaded hole 19. One of the screws which hold the two shells of the housing 2 of the tacker 1 together can be screwed into this threaded hole 19. These screws are designated by 20 and are shown at four further locations on the housing 2 in FIG. 1. At its end facing away from the head 13, the stapling agent magazine 14 has a tab 21 which engages in a housing pocket 22 and together with it can form a joint. The tacking magazine 14 can be pivoted about this joint, as indicated by an arrow 23.
- a helical spring 25 is inserted, the end protruding from the recess 24 is supported on the magazine magazine 14. So that the helical spring 25 cannot slip on the support surface, a nose 26 is bent out of the housing of the tacking magazine 14. It engages in the interior of the coil spring 25.
- the prestressed coil spring 25 thus always seeks to attach the magazine 14 with the upper edge of the elongated hole 17 to the hub 18.
- a lever arm 27 of an angle lever 28 also bears against the same surface of the stapling magazine 14 against which the coil spring 25 bears. This angle lever 28 is supported on a bolt 29 in the housing 2. It has a bent end 30. In the position shown in FIG.
- the lever arm 27 emerges from this housing 2 through a corresponding opening in the housing 2.
- the angle lever 28 can be moved counterclockwise when the staple magazine 14 is pressed onto the housing 2.
- This handle 33 is in turn stored pivotable in a trough 34 in the housing 2. It is supported by a helical spring 35 in a bearing 36 fixed to the housing.
- this bearing 36 is part of a receptacle 37 for an electrical component 38.
- a device 39 for fixing a power cable 40 which is inserted into the housing 2 through an opening 41 in the latter.
- the end of this power cable 40 is passed through a bridge 42 from the handle part of the housing 2 to the lower part of the housing 2 and connected to the circuit board 5 with its individual wires.
- the board 5 carries, in addition to terminals 43 and 44, an axis 45 for an adjusting button 46. With it, the strength of the driver's stroke can be adjusted. Details of this are unimportant for understanding the invention.
- the circuit board 5 also carries a trigger 47 with which the supply circuit for the magnet coil 3 can be closed. For this purpose, insulated wires 48 and 49 are guided from the circuit board 5 to the magnetic coil 3.
- the trigger 47 has a nose 50 with an inclined contact surface 51.
- a first projection 52 is intended to cooperate with the nose 50 of the trigger 47 and has one for Chamfer chamfer 51 matching chamfer chamfer.
- the second projection 53 is opposed to the bent end 30 of the angle lever 28.
- a leaf spring 55 is inserted, the free end resiliently pressing against the transmission member 32. The leaf spring 55 always seeks to keep the transmission member 32 with its end 31 away from the trigger 47.
- the staple magazine 14 is loaded with staples in a known manner and the power cable 40 is connected to the network.
- the nose 15 of the staple magazine 14 is pressed onto a workpiece and the force of the coil spring 25 is overcome with this pressing force.
- the staple magazine 14 lies against the lower edge 56 of the housing 2.
- the angle lever 28 is pivoted counterclockwise around its bolt 29.
- the end 30 of the angle lever 28 presses the end 31 of the transmission member 32 so far towards the trigger 47 that the first projection 52 comes to lie with its contact surface in front of the bevel 51 of the nose 50 of the trigger 47.
- the transmission member 32 is pulled in the direction of an arrow 57 with this handle 33.
- the second projection 53 runs at the end 31 of the transmission member 32 at the end 30 of the angle lever 28, while the first projection 52 of the end 31 takes the trigger 47 along with the nose 50. So that the trigger 47 is moved to the position in which it applies voltage to the solenoid 3.
- the helical spring 25 pushes the staple magazine 14 away from the housing 2, whereby it is pivoted about the joint 21/22.
- the leaf spring 55 presses on the transmission member 32 on the angle lever 28 so that it rotates in a clockwise direction, with its lever arm 27 adjacent to the staple magazine, the actuating movement of which follows.
- the end 31 of the transmission member 32 also withdraws so far from the release 47 that the latter opens the supply circuit for the magnet coil 3 again.
- the stapling agent magazine 14 presses the transfer member 32 against the trigger 47 again via the angle lever 28 and brings it back into the switched-on position.
- the solenoid 3 causes a new driver blow. In this way, a number of stapling agents can be set in quick succession. The operator need not let go of the handle 33.
- a repeat lock acts when the tacker 1 remains attached to a workpiece and the handle 33 is operated a second or more times.
- the transmission element 32 is provided with a latching recess 59.
- This locking recess 59 is assigned a locking lug 60 on the housing wall 58 adjacent to the transmission element 32.
- the angle lever 28 presses the transmission member 32 towards the housing wall 58. If the handle 33 is now brought into the release position, the locking recess 59 engages over the locking lug 60 under the pressure of the angle lever 28. Up to the locking position, the transmission member 32 dodges the locking lug 60 by its own spring. If the handle 3 is now released, it does not return to its starting position and ready position for a new stroke as long as the angle lever 28 holds the transmission member 32 in the locked position. If the staple gun 1 is lifted from the workpiece, the pressure of the angle lever 28 on the transmission member 32 is released. The leaf spring 55 can push the transmission member 32 away from the housing wall 58 and thus release the latching connection 59/60. Now move too the handle 33 and the transmission member 32 again in their rest position and are then ready for a new trigger movement.
- a nose 61 in the housing 2 serves as a support for a leg leaf spring 62.
- This leg leaf spring 62 has on its resilient leg a nose 63 with a stop surface 64 and a stop knob 65.
- the stop surface 64 of the nose 63 is opposite the upper end edge 66 of a front plate 67. Your inclination ( ⁇ ) determines the force required to overcome this rest.
- This configuration of the staple gun 1 causes a uniform impact pattern in that it always ensures that the staple gun 1 is in contact with the workpiece when struck.
- the pressure force with which the work is carried out is no longer only dependent on the operator, but also on the device side.
- the head 13 with the front plate 67 first moves toward the leg leaf spring 62 until the upper end edge 66 abuts the stop surface 64.
- This stop must be clearly in front of the trigger point of the trigger 47 actuated by the staple magazine 14 via the angle lever 28.
- the stop surface 64 prevents the staple magazine 14 from pivoting further until the pressure force increased by the operator causes the resilient leg of the leg leaf spring 62 to slide off the upper end edge 66 of the front plate 67. Once this has been done, suddenly only a negligible amount of friction occurs between the housing 2 of the tacker 1 and the stapling agent magazine 14, which occurs between the leg leaf spring 62 and the front plate 67.
- the end edge 66 In order to avoid scattering of the latching force due to tolerances of the components involved, the end edge 66 must always come into contact at the same point on the stop surface 64. This is assisted by the stop knob 65, with which the resilient leg of the leg leaf spring 62 bears against the front plate 67.
