Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verpacken von palettierten Gutstapeln mit einer Heißschrumpffolie, bei dem der Gutstapel an seiner Unterseite zunächst freigestellt, insbesondere angehoben und mit der Heißschrumpffolie derart umhüllt wird, daß deren unterer Rand über den Gutstapel vorsteht, wobei dieser untere Rand in freigestelltem Zustand des Gutstapels zunächst stärker als die übrige Heißschrumpffolie bis auf Schrumpftemperatur erwärmt und dabei durch Strömungskräfte eines von einem Gebläse erzeugten Heißgasstromes unter die Unterseite des Gutstapels gelegt wird sowie anschließend der Rest der Heißschrumpffolie geschrumpft wird. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens mit einer Haubenüberziehstation, einer unterhalb der Haubenüberziehstation angeordneten Hebebühne sowie einer oberhalb der Hebebühne angeordneten Schrumpfeinrichtung zur Erhitzung der Heißschrumpffolie auf Schrumpftemperatur.The invention relates to a method for packaging palletized stacks of goods with a heat shrink film, in which the stack of goods is first exposed on its underside, in particular raised and wrapped with the heat shrink film in such a way that its lower edge protrudes over the stack of goods, this lower edge in the released state of the stack of goods is initially heated more than the rest of the heat shrink film to the shrink temperature and is thereby placed under the underside of the stack of goods by flow forces of a hot gas stream generated by a blower, and then the rest of the heat shrink film is shrunk. Ein Verfahren der eingangs beschriebenen Gattung ist aus der US-PS 38 07 126 bekannt. Dazu wird der auf einer Palette angeordnete Gutstapel mit Hilfe eines Förderers in einen Schrumpfofen gebracht, in dem die Heißschrumpffolie mit Heißluft geschrumpft wird. Die Heißluft wird mit einem an der Decke des Schrumpfofens angeordneten Gebläse so durch den Schrumpfofen gefördert, daß die heißluft zunächst die Seiten des Gutstapels beaufschlagt und dann durch Öffnungen unter der Palette wieder abströmen kann. Dabei ergeben sich im Bereich der unteren Kanten des Gutstapels höhere Strömungsgeschwindigkeiten, so daß der untere Rand der Heißschrumpffolie zunächst stärker erwärmt wird und unter dem Einfluß der Strömungskräfte unter die Unterseite des Gutstapels gelegt wird. Im Zuge der weiteren Wärmebehandlung wird auch dann der Rest der Heißschrumpffolie auf Schrumpftemperatur erwärmt und schrumpft. Weil sich jedoch der untere, bereits umgeschlagene Rand nicht abkühlt, besteht die Gefahr, daß beim Schrumpfprozeß der übrigen Heißschrumpffolie der untere Rand sich wieder von der Unterseite des Gutstapels löst. Nachteilig ist auch der verhältnismäßig große Raumbedarf der zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens erforderlichen Anlage, weil Haubenüberziehstation und Schrumpfstation voneinander getrennt sind.A method of the type described above is known from US-PS 38 07 126. Im Unterschied zum vorbekannten Verfahren wird zunächst ausschließlich der untere Rand der Schrumpffolie bis auf Schrumpftemperatur erhitzt und dabei durch Luftkräfte unter den Gutstapel gezogen. Das hat den Vorteil, daß die gesamte Fläche des unteren Randes der Schrumpffolie mit Heißgas beaufschlagt und auf Schrumpftemperatur gebracht wird. Beim anschließenden Umschlagen gegen den unteren Rand des Gutstapels verkleben die aufeinanderliegenden Flächen des Randes, wodurch die Schrumpffolie in diesem Bereich einen sehr guten Halt für das nachfolgende Schrumpfen der Heißschrumpffolie an den Seitenflächen des Gutstapels erhält. Der untere Rand der Schrumpffolie kann dann kaum noch durch den weiteren Schrumpfprozeß hochgezogen werden. Die Fixierung des unteren Randes nach dem Umschlagen gegen die Unterseite des Gutstapels kann noch verbessert werden, wenn der zunächst angehobene Gutstapel mit dem noch auf Schrumpftemperatur befindlichen Rand der Heißschrumpffolie auf eine Unterlage abgesetzt wird.In contrast to the previously known method, only the lower edge of the shrink film is first heated up to the shrink temperature and is thereby drawn under the stack of materials by air forces. Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens eignet sich eine Vorrichtung, zu der eine Haubenüberziehstation, eine unterhalb der Haubenüberziehstation angeordnete Hebebühne sowie eine oberhalb der Hebebühne angeordnete Heißgas-Schrumpfeinrichtung zur Erhitzung der Schrumpffolie auf Schrumpftemperatur gehört, wobei die Schrumpfeinrichtung aus einem den Gutstapel umgebenden und vertikal längs des Gutstapels bewegbaren Ringbrenner besteht, und wobei im Bereich der Hebebühne ein Sauggebläse angeordnet ist. Dabei ist es besonders zweckmäßig, wenn die Hebebühne zum Anheben des Gutstapels Hubstempel aufweist, die in Öffnungen an der Unterseite einer Gutstapelpalette bis zur Unterseite der Oberfläche der Gutstapelpalette einfahrbar sind.
