Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sectional garage door with several door leaf sections connected to one another via joints with horizontal hinge axes, which are guided laterally in rails of a frame frame, the last section in each case being connected to a spring by means of a cable.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.Sectional garage doors of this type are known from practice. The door leaf sections, which run vertically in the rails of the frame frame and horizontally in the adjoining rails under the garage ceiling, do not swing outwards and only slightly inwards when the garage door is opened and closed, so that the garage entrance does not at all and the inside of the garage, unlike with up-and-over garage doors, are comparatively little restricted. The spring and cable are used to balance the weight when opening and closing. A torsion spring shaft is used as the spring, which is arranged above the frame frame for reasons of space. Torsion spring shafts are relatively complicated and also expensive to manufacture components, the assembly of which is particularly problematic when the spring is to be placed under prestress. Here wants remedy the invention.
The object of the invention is to simplify a garage door of the type described above.
This object is achieved in that the cable is guided over rollers of a pulley system, to the one roller of which a tension spring is connected, the other end of which is attached to the frame frame.
To complete the garage door according to the invention, simple coil springs can be used, which can optionally also be guided in a protective tube. These tension springs or coil springs are expediently arranged next to the rails of the frame frame, that is to say connected in the vertical direction and to the pulley block. In this respect, all parts are easily accessible and also easy to assemble, even if the coil spring is to be pre-stressed. Among other things, the pulley can also be used, which, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, has a fixed roller arranged at the upper end of the frame and a loose roller connected to the tension spring, the other end of the cable being attached to the frame in the area of the fixed roller. Such an arrangement practically does not restrict the space available within the garage at all, because all the functionally important parts are connected directly to the frame frame and, if necessary, can also be at least partially embedded in the frame frame.
Basically, a tension spring with pulley and cable can be arranged on each side of the frame be. However, there is also the option of arranging a tension spring with pulley and cable on one side of the frame and connecting the other side of the door leaf to the cable with a connecting cable guided over deflection rollers.
- Fig. 1 die Innenansicht eines Sectional-Garagentores,
- Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Gegenstandes nach Fig. 1.
- 1 is an interior view of a sectional garage door,
- 2 is a side view of the object of FIG. 1st
The sectional garage door shown in the drawing is intended for installation in a garage opening. 'The garage door has a frame with
In the rails 4 to 7 8
On both sides of the bottom when the gate is closed
The garage door shown works as follows: in the position shown in Fig. 2, the garage door is open, i.e. the
