Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine Treibkette, welche aus abwechselnd nach aufsen (oben) und innen (unten) gebogenen Gliedern besteht. Diese abwechselnd in entgegengesetzter Richtung gebogenen Kettenglieder sichern ein festes Anliegen der die Kettenglieder verbindenden Bolzen bezw. der auf diese letzteren aufgesetzten Rollen in den Fufscurven zwischen den Zähnen der Kettenräder. Hierdurch erhalten die Rollen der Verbindungsbolzen eine Drehbewegung, welche wiederum einen leichteren und gleichmäfsigeren Gang des ganzen Kettengetriebes zur Folge hat. Durch das infolge der abwechselnd nach aufsen und innen gebogenen Kettenglieder bewirkte tiefe und verläfsliche Einlegen oder Eingreifen der Bolzen bezw. Rollen in die Zahnlücken wird ein lockerer Gang oder gar ein Abgleiten der Kette von dem Kettenrad in wirksamster Weise verhindert.
