Description
-
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein künstliches Fußgelenk, welches in seiner Bewegung durch eine hydraulische Dämpfwirkung beeinflußt wird. Bislang waren Fußprothesen mit Gummipuffern oder Federn ausgestattet, die wohl auch die Bewegung dämpfen, aber einen harten unausgeglichenen Gang nicht vermeiden konnten. Sie hatten weiterhin den großen Nachteil, daß der Fuß sofort in seine Mittellage zurückschnellte, sobald die Belastung durch das Anheben der Prothese entzogen wurde. Es ist jedoch für den Prothesenträger außerordentlich wichtig, daß der Fuß in derselben Stellung wieder auf den Boden auftritt, wie er diesen verlassen hat.
- Zum Beispiel beim Vorwärtslaufen geht die Fußspitze vorn hoch, wenn der Fuß den Boden verläßt.
- In derselben Stellung, mit Fußspitze hoch und Absatz unten, muß er auf den Boden aufsetzen, wie dies beim natürlichen Gang mit einem gesunden Fuß auch der Fall ist. Dies ist durch nachbeschriebene Einrichtung möglich und wird hierbei außerdem erreicht, daß die Bewegung als solche durch den Öldruck gedämpft wird.
- Die Zeichnung zeigt einen senkrechten Mittelschnitt durch das künstliche Fußgelenk. An dem künstlichen Unterschenkel I ist in bekannter Weise der Fuß 2 im Mittelpunkt 3 angelenkt. In den Fuß sind zwei oder mehr Zylinder 4 eingelassen, in welchen Kolben 5 bewegt werden. Diese Kolben 5 stehen durch Pleuelstangen 6 mit dem Unterschenkel I in Verbindung. Je nach Stellung des Unterschenkels I werden die Kolben 5 gehoben oder gesenkt und damit das in den unteren Teilen der Zylinder 4 befindliche Öl 7 durch das Verbindungsrohr 8 von einem Zylinder in den anderen gedriickt.
- An einer von außen leicht zugänglichen Stelle ist in das Ölrohr 8 eine Drossel 9 eingebaut, mittels welcher die Durchlaufgeschwindigkeit geregelt werden kann. Durch diese regelhare Einrichtung wird ein sehr sanfter Gang bei einem Kunstbein erzielt.
- PATENTANS P B P B H E: I. Künstliches Fußgelenk mit Dämpfungsvorrichtung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß vor und hinter dem an sich bekannten Gelenk (3) eine hydraulische Dämpfung vorgesehen ist, dergestalt, daß mehrere Zylinder (4) in den Fuß (2) eingelassen sind, in welchen Kolben (5) bewegt werden, die mit dem Unterschenkel (I) über Pleuelstangen (6) o. dgl. in Verbindung stehen, wodurch die in den Zylindern vorhandene Flüssigkeit, z. B. Öl (7). von einem Zylinder in den anderen Zylinder gedrückt wird.

- 2. Künstliches Fußgelenk nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Verbindungsrohr (8) der Zylinder (4) eine Drossel (9) o. dgl. vorgesehen ist.
