Description

Die Erfindung· betrifft ein Verfahren zum Kühlen von Mahlgut in Zerkleinerungsvorrichtungen, die insbesondere zur Vermahlung von Zement und Kohle dienen und aus mehreren Mahlkammern bestehen, zwischen die eine Kühleinrichtung (Kühlkammer) eingeschaltet ist. Die Erfindung kennzeichnet sich durch Führung des Kühlmittels, z. B. Luft, quer zur Förderrichtung des Mahlguts durch die Kühlkammer hindurch, und hat als wesentliches Merkmal, daß das Kühlmittel unmittelbar mit dem Mahlgut in Berührung kommt. Die Kühlkammer ist mit Durchlaßöffnungen für den Ein- und Austritt des Kühlmittels versehen. Die Stärke des Kühhnittelstromes wird zweckmäßig so bemessen, daß grobe Mahlgutteilchen durch den Kühlstrom nicht aus der Kammer ausgetragen werden. Feinere, gegebenenfalls durch den Kühlstrom mitgenommene Gutteilchen können in einem Sichter abgeschieden werden. An Stelle einer Kühlkammer können auch, mehrere solcher Kühlkammern in die Zerkleinerungsvorrichtung eingeschaltet werden.
