Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine Oberwachungseinrichtung zu schaffen, die nicht nur durch ein Signal das Zusetzen des Filters anzeigt, sondern gleichzeitig auch die angeschlossene Maschine stillsetzt. Dies wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Anordnung eines Stromanschlusses, insbesondere einer Steckdosefür die Maschine am Staubsauger erreicht, wobei der Stromanschluß von der Oberwachungseinrichtung bei zugesetztem Filter ausgeschaltet wird.
