Abstract
The radiators consist of a tubing coiling upwards from the oil or solid-fuel stove and opening into the chimney. The radiators may have a protective sheet-metal cover with holes to let out the heat and the system may be used to heat individual rooms or a whole house. In the former case, the stove is in the room itself, while, in the latter, it is preferably in the basement with tubular radiators leading up into all parts of the house. The size of the radiators depends on the size of the stove and the rooms. Each coil in the radiator has a small hatch for cleaning purposes.
