Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a textile fabric which, in addition to thermoplastic Fibers also contains thermosetting fibers. Such fabrics, i.e. fabrics, Knitted fabrics, needle felts, nonwovens or the like have generally been found to be mechanically strong stressed workwear proven. You will especially hit for it Ze and welding protective clothing used. To such workwear that is used in welding and related processes, in si Security-related diverse, especially through the European standards men EN 531: 1995 (protective clothing for heat exposed industrial workers) and EN 470-1: 1995 (protective clothing for welding and allied processes) made demands. Both standards require protection against short-term i against flame contact. Such protection is u. a. then guaranteed if that Tissue does not continue to burn and no burning or melting dripping having. The latter causes injuries and promotes the spread of one next local fire source. Another essential aspect of the genann ten workwear is that it is easily washable and that it has as many as possible Cycles of industrial washing and drying processes undamaged and in particular re survives without changing their wearing and fire behavior.
Anforderungen entspricht.Based on this, it is the object of the invention to create a textile fabric propose that the above Meets requirements.
This object is achieved by a flat structure according to claim 1. It points a proportion of thermoplastic fibers that is greater than 25 wt .-%, the The proportion of thermosetting fibers is 24% by weight and larger. Such areas structure is characterized by the above Fire behavior according to standards out. In particular, it does not form burning melting drops that catch the flames favor spreading and can also lead to fire injuries, but charred it. It shows despite its high proportion of thermoplastic fibers have a fire behavior similar to that of thermosets. It's out too sufficiently resistant to the effects of large and small fuel liquid metal or glowing metal particles. Due to the high proportion thermoplastic fibers, such as polyester fibers, are high Comfort and on the other hand a multiple industrial washability sufficient, in particular standardized thermal protection. The The fabrics according to the invention are easy to wash, tear and abrasion resistant and the garments made with it have a good size action on.
The combination of the fiber mixture mentioned with natural fibers is advantageous, especially with cotton, which significantly improves comfort by they z. B. improves the water vapor permeability or the Ret value. The na Door fibers and especially the cotton fibers are preferably permanent flame retardant equipped with at least one flame retardant. At Mixed fiber sheets of conventional type generally deteriorate Fire behavior observed with increasing number of washing cycles, which is due to the discharge of the flame retardants. It has been shows that fabrics according to the invention despite a relatively large flame loss of protective agent does not show any deterioration in flame retardancy. They therefore have a relatively high tolerance to discharge of flame protective agents.
A preferred textile fabric has 26 to 35 wt .-% thermoplastic Fibers, 24 to 35% by weight thermosetting fibers and 25 to 50% by weight cotton fibers, whereby the cotton fibers are permanently flame retardant are. Melamine resin fibers are preferred as thermosetting fibers. Are suitable but also polyurethane fibers, polyvinyl chloride fibers and polyacrylonitrile fibers. As Thermoplastic fibers are preferably used in polyester fibers. Depending on Fibers made of polyamide, polyolefin, poly are also used ethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl alcohol are used.
Reactive phosphorus compounds are preferred as flame retardants used. Such compounds are under the brand names "Aflammit®", "Pyrovatex®" or "Proban®" available on the market. An intimate ho is preferred mogeneous fiber mixture used. With such a mixture, the On cell fibers are first mixed homogeneously and then from this fiber mixture Fä the or yarn formed. If necessary, an inventive Fabrics also have an antistatic finish. Antistatic fibers, for example, plastic fibers or metal fibers vapor-coated with metal into the fabric worked. The proportion of such antistatic fibers is preferably 0.1 to 3 Ge parts by weight.
