Abstract
<p>Se describe una proteína quimérica insecticida de <em>Bacillus thuringiesis</em>, conformada por los dominios I y II obtenidos de CryBe2, el dominio III obtenido de CryKa y la protoxina obtenida de Cry1Ab3 tal como se describe en la SEQ ID NO: 10 y la secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica dicha proteína (SEQ ID NO: 9). Esta proteína presenta actividad inhibitoria contra especies de insectos del orden Lepidoptera tales como <em>Anticarsia gemmatalis, Diatrea saccharalis, Elasmopalpus lignosellus, Helicoverpa zea, Heliothis virescens, Chrysodeixis includes, Spodoptera cosmioides, Spodoptera eridania</em>, entre otras.</p>
