The repellent provided by the invention has obvious repellent effect on female and male sweet potato ants, and has the advantages of simple preparation, low cost, greenness, high efficiency, no drug resistance and the like; can be independently used as an aversion agent of sweet potato elephant; the method can also be combined with attraction measures such as sweet potato elephant attractant and the like to form a 'push-pull' technical strategy for comprehensive treatment of the sweet potato elephant.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of plant protection, relates to an insect repellent, and particularly relates to a preparation and application of a sweet potato ant elephant repellent.
Background
Sweet potato elephant (Cylas formicarius), also called sweet potato elephant and sweet potato elephant beetle, belong to Coleoptera conoideae, are important pests in tropical and subtropical sweet potato production, and are one of international plant quarantine objects. In China, Ipomoea batatas Roxb is widely distributed in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Taiwan and other areas. The sweet potato ants appear 6-8 generations in one year, and have obvious generation overlapping phenomenon. Adult insects and larvae can damage sweet potatoes, and the larvae are most seriously damaged when being eaten in sweet potato blocks, so that the adult insects and the larvae are one of important pests of the sweet potatoes in a storage period and seriously influence the quality and the yield of the sweet potatoes.
At present, the prevention and control of the elephant trunk of the sweet potato is mainly based on chemical prevention and control, and is assisted by traditional agricultural prevention and control measures such as biological prevention and control, rotation and the like. The former also reports that the sexual attractant is used for preventing and controlling the termite image of the sweet potato. However, the chemical agent control method cannot achieve good control effect due to the hidden bur-eating habit of the larvae. In addition, the excessive use of chemical pesticides easily causes environmental pollution. Therefore, the prevention and control of the Ipomoea batatas Lam is to effectively combine the means of quarantine, agricultural prevention and control, biological prevention and control and the like on the basis of properly using low-toxicity residue-free chemical agents and actively explore new prevention and control measures.
The repellent is a common insect behavior regulating substance, can be independently used for repelling pests, can also be combined with attractant measures and the like to form a 'push-pull' technical strategy, is used for the comprehensive treatment of agricultural pests, and is successfully used for the population management of various pests. In order to enrich the behavior regulation technology aiming at the sweet potato elephant, the invention aims to find the safe, harmless, low-cost and easy-to-popularize sweet potato elephant repellent.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a sweet potato ant elephant repellent which has obvious repellent effect on female and male sweet potato ant elephants and has the advantages of environmental protection, no pollution and the like.
The sweet potato elephant repellent agent provided by the invention comprises the following components in percentage by weight:
30 to 50 percent of n-octanol,
40 to 60 percent of nerol,
5 to 25 percent of citral,
and the sum of the weight percentages of the three components is 100 percent.
Preferably, the sweet potato ant elephant repellent agent comprises the following components in percentage by weight:
30 to 40 percent of n-octanol,
50 to 60 percent of nerol,
10 to 20 percent of citral,
and the sum of the weight percentages of the three components is 100 percent.
Most preferably, the sweet potato elephant repellent agent comprises the following components in percentage by weight:
34 percent of n-octanol,
51 percent of nerol,
15 percent of citral,
and the sum of the weight percentages of the three components is 100 percent.
Furthermore, the invention also provides a use method of the sweet potato elephant repellent, which is characterized in that the repellent is weighed according to the respective weight percentage and diluted by pure water added with solubilizer by 1 ten thousand times to prepare the repellent liquid. The solubilizer is mainly water-soluble surfactant, and can be tween 20, tween 40, sodium dodecyl sulfate, etc. And then soaking the sweet potatoes in the repellent liquid for 1 minute, taking out the sweet potatoes, and naturally airing the repellent liquid to obtain the repellent liquid for the sweet potatoes.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the sweet potato ant elephant repellent agent has obvious repellent effect on female and male sweet potato ant elephants, and has the advantages of simple and convenient preparation, low cost, greenness, high efficiency, no drug resistance and the like; can be used for the comprehensive control of sweet potato elephant.
Detailed Description
The present invention will be further illustrated by the following specific examples.
The evasion effect of the evasion agent on the ant elephant of the sweet potato was evaluated in the sweet potato storage warehouse of baoding city, north Hebei during the period from 10 months to 20 months and 11 months to 20 days in 2020. Firstly, weighing n-octanol, nerol and citral according to respective weight percentages, and then diluting the n-octanol, the nerol and the citral by 1 ten thousand times by using pure water added with a solubilizer to prepare an evasion liquid; and then soaking the sweet potatoes in the repellent liquid for 1min, taking out the sweet potatoes, and respectively storing the sweet potatoes in different boxes after the repellent liquid is naturally dried. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The number of imagoes and larvae of each treated sweet potato ant is investigated after 4 weeks and the avoidance rate is calculated. The test results are shown in Table 1.
TABLE 1 evasion effect of test agent on Ipomoea batatas Lam
Note: a is n-octanol; b, nerol; c, citral. Data in the table are mean ± sem.
Test results show that the single n-octanol and nerol have weak avoidance effect on the sweet potato elephant, and the single citral does not show avoidance activity; the n-octanol and the nerol are mixed according to the proportion of 1:1 to enhance the repelling effect on the sweet potato elephant; the rest two are mixed and have no synergistic effect; further tests show that the avoidance effect is optimal when the mass percentage of the n-octanol to the nerol is 40: 60; under the condition of fixing the proportion, the addition of the citral has a synergistic effect, and the avoidance effect of the n-octanol, the nerol and the citral on the sweet potato ant elephant is the best under the mass percentage of 34:51:15, and the maximum effect is 89.5%.
From the test results, the mixture consisting of n-octanol, nerol and citral has obvious repellent activity on the sweet potato elephant, can play a role in protecting the sweet potato from or less from being damaged by the sweet potato elephant, and can be independently used as a repellent of the sweet potato elephant; the method can also be combined with attraction measures such as sweet potato elephant attractant and the like to form a 'push-pull' technical strategy for comprehensive treatment of the sweet potato elephant.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above examples are only for illustrating the technical solutions of the present invention and not for limiting the same, and although the present invention is described in detail with reference to the examples, those of ordinary skill in the art should understand that: modifications and equivalents may be made to the invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
