Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of mosquito repellent, in particular to a safe mosquito repellent containing wood vinegar and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Mosquitoes are known by the world health organization as the first killers in nature. They transmit diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, etc., threaten the health of hundreds of millions of people every year and cause death of 100-300 million people. For example, the spread of dengue fever in Zhejiang Yiwu in China in 2009 caused panic in all countries. It is seen that mosquito-transmitted diseases have historically and now contributed to human disasters. Even today, the problem is not overcome by the continuing development of science.
Mosquitoes not only threaten the health of human beings, but also have great harm to industries such as poultry industry, animal husbandry and the like, for example, West Nile virus can cause birds and horses to die in large quantities. Many of the chemical insecticides available are not very effective and not only cause environmental pollution but also are extremely toxic to non-target organisms, but also result in increased mosquito resistance.
The most widespread mosquito olfactory disrupter at present is mosquito repellent amine (DEET). It is a mosquito repellent product developed by the U.S. military in the last century. Although numerous studies have shown that DEET is not highly toxic, additional studies have shown that there are 6 cases of death from improper use, and additional studies have shown that extended use of DEET adversely affects the mental capacity of children. DEET is mainly used for repelling mosquitoes in the field of individuals, and has a narrow application range. Other problems such as pyrethrin, eucalyptus citriodora oil (active ingredient PMD), mosquito repellant (BAAPE) and the like are also present.
However, in the modern with developed technology today, only a few herbs are added into mosquito repellent products as auxiliary materials, and pure natural plant mosquito repellent products which are really safe, reliable, environmentally friendly and reassuring are not used.
