Referring to fig. 1 to 9, the present invention discloses an exhaust valve 100 for an automobile exhaust system, wherein the exhaust valve 100 includes a valve seat 1, a bracket 2 fixed to the valve seat 1, a valve cover 3 capable of opening or closing relative to the valve seat 1, a resilient piece 4 fixed to the bracket 2 and configured to press against the valve cover 3, and a pressing piece 5 configured to press against the resilient piece 4 when the resilient piece 4 is deformed, wherein the valve seat 1 includes a mounting portion 11 and an opening 12, the valve cover 3 is engaged with the opening 12, the valve cover 3 includes a shaft 31, the shaft 31 is mounted between the mounting portion 11 and the bracket 2, and when the valve cover 3 is opened or closed relative to the opening 12, the resilient piece 4 can slide relative to the valve cover 3.
Specifically, the valve seat 1 is provided with flange portions 13 located on both sides of the mounting portion 11 and extending to the vicinity of the opening 12. In the illustrated embodiment of the invention, the valve seat 1 is stamped and formed from sheet metal.

The exhaust valve 100 includes a bushing 30 sleeved on the shaft 31. In the illustrated embodiment of the present invention, the valve cover 3 is not flat, and has a raised portion 32 facing the opening 12, so that the exhaust gas can be distributed more effectively on the valve cover 3. The valve cover 3 is further provided with at least one convex rib 33 which is abutted against the elastic piece 4, and the elastic piece 4 can slide along the convex rib 33 when the valve cover 3 rotates.
The bracket 2 is provided with a fixing part 21 fixed with the mounting part 11, a first extending part 22 extending from one end of the fixing part 21, and a second extending part 23 extending from the other end of the fixing part 21, the first extending part 22 is provided with a groove 221, and the shaft 31 is at least partially located in the groove 221. Referring to fig. 3, after the exhaust valve 100 is assembled, the bushing 30 is at least partially covered by the first extension 22. By providing the bush 30, it is possible to reduce excessive noise generated when the bonnet 3 rotates around the shaft 31, reduce abrasion caused by hard interference, and improve durability of the exhaust valve 100.
The second extension portion 23 is provided with an inclined portion 231, one end of the elastic sheet 4 is fixed on the inclined portion 231, and the other end of the elastic sheet 4 abuts against the valve cover 3. Preferably, the other end of the elastic sheet 4 is provided with an arc-shaped hook part 41 which is in contact with the valve cover 3.
One end of the pressing sheet 5 is fixed on the inclined portion 231, and the other end of the pressing sheet 5 is a free end and has an arc-shaped pressing surface 51 matched with the elastic sheet 4. The spring plate 4 extends beyond the free end of the pressing plate 5. With the arrangement, on one hand, the elastic sheet 4 extending beyond the pressing sheet 5 can provide better elastic force for the valve cover 3 when the valve cover 3 rotates; on the other hand, the pressing piece 5 overlapped with the elastic piece 4 can ensure that the elastic piece 4 can be fully contacted with the pressing piece 5 when the valve cover 3 rotates to a certain opening degree, and the rigidity of the elastic piece 4 is changed.
Preferably, the discharge valve 100 may further include a cushion pad 6 between the valve seat 1 and the valve cover 3 to reduce impact with the corresponding parts and noise when the valve cover 3 is closed.
Referring to fig. 7 and 9, in use, exhaust gas from the engine enters the opening 12 and exerts a force against the ridge 32 of the valve cover 3. When the exhaust pressure is larger than the pressure of the elastic sheet 4 on the valve cover 3, the valve cover 3 is pushed open by the exhaust. In this process, the valve cover 3 rotates around the shaft 31, and the arc-shaped hook 41 of the resilient piece 4 slides along the rib 33. Through setting up convex rib 33 can reduce the frictional force of shell fragment 4 and valve gap 3, makes the rotation of valve gap 3 more steady. Along with the further increase of the opening degree of the valve cover 3, when reaching a certain degree, the attaching area of the elastic sheet 4 and the pressing sheet 5 is gradually increased so as to improve the rigidity of the elastic sheet 4.
Compared with the prior art, the present invention can be realized by a simple mechanical assembly by installing the shaft 31 between the mounting portion 11 and the bracket 2.
