Background
Most automatic teller machines of banks and cash registers of supermarkets are provided with thermal printers for printing transaction vouchers or tickets. Thermal printers typically have a housing in which is mounted a cartridge consisting of a printhead assembly mounted above the housing, a housing, and a paper cutting blade mounted to one side of the housing and the printhead assembly. A paper feed passage is formed between the printhead assembly and the housing, through which thermal printing paper passes.

As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, the thermal printer in this embodiment includes a base 1, a motor 16, a transmission gear set 14, a rubber roller 13, a frame 4, a print head assembly 43, a sliding mechanism 3 and a releasing mechanism 2.
The front end face of the machine base 1 is respectively provided with a first positioning groove 11 and a second positioning groove 12; specifically, the two sides of the front end of the stand 1 are respectively extended forward to form a connecting part 1a, and a first positioning groove 11 and a second positioning groove 12 are formed on the connecting part 1 a; the housing 1 extends laterally outwardly with a retaining wall 1b. The motor 16 is provided on the housing 1.
The transmission gear set 14 is arranged on the machine base 1 and is connected with the power output end of the motor 16, and the gear cover 1c is arranged on the machine base 1 and covers the transmission gear set 14.
The rubber roller 13 is rotatably arranged on the machine base 1 through a rubber roller shaft and is provided with a driving gear 131 meshed with the transmission gear set 14.
The frame 4 is detachably arranged on the machine base 1 through the disengaging mechanism 2; the frame 4 is provided with a first positioning lever 41 and a second positioning lever 42 at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the print head assembly 43, and the print head assembly 43 is provided on the frame 4 and in the vicinity of the print head assembly 43 as shown in fig. 4.
As shown in fig. 5, the release mechanism 2 in this embodiment includes a lock piece 23, a transmission block 22, a lever 21, and a rotation shaft 25. The locking plate 23 is rotatably arranged on the stand 1 and positioned at the inner side of the connecting part 1a, and the locking plate 23 is provided with a first locking tongue 231 capable of locking the first positioning rod 41 in the first positioning groove 11 and a second locking tongue 232 capable of locking the second positioning rod 42 in the second positioning groove 12; the locking plates 23 are connected into a whole through a connecting bridge 24, a return spring 26 is arranged on the connecting bridge 24, and the other end of the return spring 26 is propped against the inner wall of the cover plate 15 on the machine base 1. The return spring 26 can keep the lock piece 23 in the state of the first positioning lever 41 and the second positioning lever 42 that are long all the time.
The transmission block 22 is located outside the connecting portion 1a and has a force receiving portion 221 at one end, the transmission block 22 and the locking plate 23 are coaxially connected to the machine base 1 and can synchronously drive the locking plate 23 to rotate, and the transmission block 22 is further connected with one of the locking plates 23 through a connecting pin 27 penetrating through the connecting portion 1a.
The middle part of the deflector rod 21 can be rotatably arranged on the machine base 1, one end of the deflector rod is exposed to form a deflector part 213, and the other end of the deflector rod can drive the transmission block 22 to rotate. One side of the lever 21 is formed with a curved strip portion 212 having elasticity, and the curved strip portion 212 can be reacted against the blocking wall 1b on the lever 21. One end of the shift lever 21 has a pressing portion 211 that abuts against the force receiving portion 221, and the pressing portion 211 is pressed to rotate the transmission block 22 and thus the lock piece 23, so that the first lock tab 231 and the second lock tab 232 simultaneously unlock the first positioning lever 41 and the second positioning lever 42.
The rotating shaft 25 is arranged on the machine base 1 and is parallel to the length direction of the rubber roller 13, and the locking plates 23 are two pieces which are respectively positioned at two ends of the rotating shaft 25 and are close to the respective connecting parts 1a.
In the initial state, the frame is connected with the machine base, the stirring part of the stirring rod is pulled, the extrusion part acts on the stress part of the transmission block, the transmission block rotates and drives the two locking plates and the rotating shaft to rotate, the first locking tongue part and the second locking tongue part on the locking plates are contacted with the locking of the first positioning groove and the second positioning groove, and the first positioning rod and the second positioning rod are separated from the first positioning groove and the second positioning groove at the same time, so that the frame is separated from the machine base.
When the connecting assembly is carried out, the first positioning rod is aligned with the first positioning groove, the second positioning rod is aligned with the second positioning groove, the first positioning rod and the second positioning rod are pressed into the respective positioning grooves against the acting force of the return spring, the connecting assembly is assembled in place, and the first locking tongue part and the second locking tongue part lock the first positioning rod and the second positioning rod respectively at the same time, so that the connecting assembly is limited to be separated from the base.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, the front end of the stand 1 is transversely provided with a chute 17; the front end of the machine base 1 is provided with a sliding mechanism 3 with adjustable paper width; the slide mechanism 3 includes a first slider 31, a second slider 32, and an intermediate gear 3b.
The first slider 31 is slidably disposed at one end of the chute 17, one end of the first slider 31 has a first rack 311, and the other end is formed with a first stopper 312; the second slider 32 is slidably disposed at the other end of the chute 17, one end of the second slider 32 has a second rack 321, and the other end is formed with a second stop portion 322, and a distance between the second stop portion 322 and the first stop portion 312 is a width of the paper.
The intermediate gear 3b is rotatably arranged in the middle of the chute 17, and two sides of the intermediate gear are respectively meshed with the first rack 311 and the second rack 321 for transmission. The outer end surface of the intermediate gear 3b is provided with a cover plate 3c, and the cover plate 3c can limit the first stop block 312 and the second stop block 322 to be further closed.
The first sliding block or the second sliding block is driven, so that the adjustment of the distance between the first stop block part and the second stop block part can be realized, and the adjustment of the paper width is further satisfied.
The back of the first slider 31 in this embodiment is provided with a reed 3a, and the reed 3a is always kept in close contact with the inner wall of the housing 1. The inner wall of the housing 1 has a rack portion 171, and correspondingly, the reed 3a has a boss positioned to cooperate with the rack portion 171. The protruding portion of the reed 3a cooperates with the rack portion 171 to position the first slider 31 and the second slider 32, and the sheet width is determined.
