A water storage apparatus for mining wasteland as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the rotating assembly comprises a first worm (19) arranged in a control chamber (12), a first worm wheel (20) is sleeved outside a bidirectional screw rod (17), the first worm wheel (20) is fixedly connected with the bidirectional screw rod (17), the first worm (19) is meshed with the first worm wheel (20), one end of the first worm (19) is connected with the inner wall of one side of the control chamber (12) through a first bearing (21), the other end of the first worm (19) penetrates through the inner wall of the other side of the control chamber (12), one end of the first worm (19) penetrates through the inner wall of one side of a water storage tank (1), and one end of the first worm (19) is fixedly connected with a turntable (22) located on one side of the water storage tank (1).

the rainwater is filtered through the first filter screen (4), the filtered water enters the water storage tank (1), the rainwater is stored through the water storage tank (1), and the water in the water storage tank (1) can be discharged through the water discharge pipe (16);
