技术领域
本发明涉及向将多片带材重合而形成的片状物施加超声波振动以进行带材之间的熔接的熔接装置。
背景技术
在下述专利文献1的包装装置中,密封器和刀具被相互分开地配置。但是,若密封器和刀具分开,则在密封器和刀具之间产生相位偏移,所以,密封区域与切断部位的位置关系的精度降低。
在下述专利文献2的熔接装置中,在一个辊筒上设置圆盘形的超声波焊头和刀具。所以,不能沿辊筒的旋转轴方向进行熔接。另外,专利文献2没有公开错开时间进行利用超声波振动的熔接和利用刀具的切断的情况。
下述专利文献3的熔接装置在一个辊筒上设置热封机和刀具。但是,专利文献3的装置不是向片状物施加超声波振动的装置。

发明内容
本发明的目的在于,提供熔接区域与切断部位之间的位置关系的精度高,而且可以防止由于切断时的振动引起的施加超声波振动的精度降低的熔接装置。
为了达到上述目的,本发明提供一种熔接装置,其为熔接第一带材和第二带材重合的重合部分的熔接装置,具备围绕规定的轴线旋转的辊筒;设置在上述辊筒的外周,与上述辊筒一起旋转,且一边保持上述第一和第二带材一边对其进行搬送的搬送部;设置在上述辊筒的外周,与上述辊筒一起旋转,大致沿上述轴线方向延伸的砧;与上述辊筒的外周接近设置,与上述砧相配合,向上述重合部分施加振动能量的超声波焊头;与上述辊筒的外周接近设置,与上述砧接触,切断上述第一和第二带材的刀具;测定上述砧和上述超声波焊头之间的距离的传感器;根据上述传感器测定的上述砧与上述超声波焊头之间的距离,控制上述超声波焊头与上述砧之间距离的控制部。本装置中,在上述超声波焊头与上述砧相配合、向上述第一和第二带材施加上述振动能量时,上述刀具不进行上述第一和第二带材的切断。
根据本熔接装置,超声波焊头和刀具被配置在设置了砧和搬送部的一个辊筒的外周附近。所以,通过能够在一个砧上向带材施加超声波振动,然后在该砧上切断带材,提高熔接区域与切断部位之间的位置关系的精度。
在超声波振动进行的熔接(密封)中,依靠超声波将机械振动向超声波焊头(振动器具)传送,使热可塑性的带材在被加压的状态下通过超声波焊头和砧之间,依靠摩擦热熔接带材。所以,可以认为如果同时进行由超声波焊头进行的熔接和由刀具进行的切断的话,由于在刀具与砧相接触(碰撞)时产生的振动,超声波焊头与砧之间的间隔(间隙),即,超声波焊头和砧之间的距离发生变化。另外,可以认为由于上述的振动,不管上述间隔变化与否,测定上述间隔的传感器都将误动作。
所以,本熔接装置上,通过不同时进行由刀具进行的切断和由超声波焊头的超声波振动的施加进行的熔接,而错开时间进行,使得即使在同一辊筒上进行熔接和切断,也可以防止超声波振动引起的熔接可靠性的降低。
即,本熔接装置可以防止由于切断时的振动引起的超声波焊头和砧之间的距离发生变化而在熔接中产生的不良状况和用于测定超声波焊头与砧之间的距离的传感器的误动作。
另外,在本熔接装置中,不限定超声波振动的频率(周期),例如也可以设定为进行15,000~20,000次/秒的振动。
本熔接装置中,上述砧具有接受上述超声波焊头的振动的第一部和第二部、以及承接上述刀具的第三部,该第三部位于上述第一部与第二部之间,上述第一部、上述第三部、上述第二部也可以沿上述辊筒的圆周方向依次排列。
通过这样设置第一部、第二部和第三部,可以可靠地在两个熔接区域间切断片状物。
但是,在本发明中,不限定包含多片带材的片状物的熔接位置与切断位置之间的关系,也可以切断熔接区域的端部(边缘)。另外,虽然在本发明中,可以按照切断片状物进行切断,但是也可以切下片状物的一部分。
在本熔接装置上,从上述砧的旋转中心到上述第一部的距离与从上述旋转中心到上述第二部的距离也可以大致相同。由此,由于容易控制超声波焊头与砧之间的间隙,所以熔接的可靠性提高。
在本熔接装置上,从上述砧的旋转中心到上述第一部和第二部的距离也可以比从上述旋转中心到上述第三部的距离长。
这样,通过设定距离,由于不在第三部熔接带材,所以带材不在该第三部硬化。所以,刀具能够容易地在该第三部切断带材。
在本发明中,也可设置多个上述超声波焊头,通过上述多个超声波焊头熔接片状物的同一部位。
片状物与辊筒一起旋转时,砧上的片状物依次地接近多个超声波焊头而被加热。这样,由于片状物的同一部位被多个超声波焊头熔接,所以能够缩短熔接所需的时间。所以,能够提高片状物的搬送速度。
但是,在本发明中,不限定超声波焊头的数量,超声波焊头的数量可以是1个或者多个。
在本发明中,由于上述超声波焊头与砧相对时,可以进行由上述超声波振动进行的熔接,所以也可以将多个砧等节距地设置在辊筒的外周。这时,为了不同时进行由上述超声波振动进行的熔接和由上述刀具进行的切断,也可以使上述超声波焊头相对于刀具辊的配置角度与上述多个砧之间的节距角度不同。
这样,通过配置刀具辊、超声波焊头和砧,在超声波焊头与砧相对进行熔接时,别的砧不与刀具辊相对。即,在进行熔接时,不进行切断。
片状物被夹在超声波焊头与砧之间,若超声波振动的能量被施加在片状物上,则多片带材间被热熔接。所以,优选使超声波焊头与砧的间隔为数μm~数10μm左右的间隙。所以,优选砧比辊筒的其他部分更加向径向的外侧突出。另外,也能够采用在施加超声波振动时砧或者超声波焊头相互接近的结构。
在上述辊筒上,也可以设置保持片状物的多个搬送部,在这些多个搬送部之间设置砧。搬送部和砧的数量既可以是一个,也可以是多个。
在本发明中,片状物是包含相互重合的多片带材的中间产品,上述熔接装置为了将上述中间品按照各成品进行划分,也可以相互连接上述带材之间。也可以在上述多片带材之间配置吸收体的核。
由本发明生成的最终成品例如可以是一次性短裤、尿布和卫生用品等一次性穿着用品。
此外,本发明还提供一种熔接装置,熔接第一带材和第二带材相互重合的重合部分,其特征在于,包括:能够旋转,搬送上述第一和第二带材的搬送部;与上述搬送部一起旋转,沿旋转轴方向延伸的砧;与上述砧相配合,向上述重合部分施加振动能量的超声波焊头;测定上述砧和上述超声波焊头之间的距离的传感器;根据来自上述传感器的信息,控制上述超声波焊头与上述砧之间距离的控制部;和切断上述第一和第二带材的刀具,上述砧和搬送部能够从配置上述超声波焊头的位置向配置上述刀具的位置移动,上述砧和上述超声波焊头在熔接上述第一和第二带材时,上述刀具不进行第一和第二带材的切断。

通过参考附图而对以下合适的实施例进行说明,可以更加清楚地理解本发明。但是,实施例和图纸仅仅是为了进行图示和说明的,而不是应该用于限定本发明范围的。本发明的范围只由权利要求限定。在附图中,多个图纸的同一部件号码,表示相同或者相当的部分。
以下,参照图纸,说明本发明的实施例。
图1表示第一实施例。
如图1所示,本熔接装置1是一边搬送连续的片状物W一边向例如图5(a)的片状物W的熔接对象部位Ws施加超声波振动,使该熔接对象部位Ws的带材之间热熔接,然后切断片状物W的装置。片状物W也可以是(例如)中间产品。片状物W具备相互重合的第一带材W1和第二带材W2,2片带材W1、W2的重合部分的规定的熔接对象部位Ws被熔接。例如,如图5(b)所示,中间产品W在作为上述熔接对象部位Ws的2个熔接区域内,在带材之间被相互熔接(结合)之后,被沿上述2个熔接对象部位Ws之间的切断线CL切断,而成为各种不同的成品(短裤或者尿布)。
如图1所示,穿着物品的制造设备也可以具备将片状物W导入熔接装置1的导入辊2,将熔接装置1熔接的片状物W导出熔接装置1的导出辊3,接收来自该导出辊3的片状物W的搬送装置(未图示)。
熔接装置1沿接收片状物W的辊筒20的外周,具有至少一个超声波熔接机10和刀具辊30。上述超声波熔接机10和刀具辊30被配置在辊筒20的径向的外侧。上述超声波熔接机10和刀具辊30被相互分开地配置在辊筒20的圆周方向上。上述超声波熔接机10分别具备超声波发生装置(未图示)和超声波焊头11。超声波焊头11与辊筒20的外周接近配置。
上述刀具辊30具有一个或者多个刀具31。刀具31的圆周速度既可与辊筒20的圆周速度相同也可与其不同。刀具31被配置为能够与辊筒20的的外周相接近。
在上述辊筒20上以等角度节距β设置多个砧21。另一方面,刀具辊30和超声波焊头11相互只隔开角度γ。上述角度γ与上述砧21的安装节距β不同。所以,如图1所示,在砧21中的一个位于与刀具辊30接近(相对)的位置上时,其他的砧21中的任何一个均不与超声波焊头11相对。另一方面,如图2所示,在砧21中的一个与超声波焊头11相对时,其他的砧21中的任何一个均不与刀具辊30相对。
如图1所示,熔接装置1也可以具备多个超声波熔接机10。各超声波熔接机10也可以以规定的角度节距α设置在辊筒20的径向外侧。上述超声波焊头11的节距α与砧21的节距β既可相同,也可不同。
若设定上述超声波焊头11的角度节距α与砧21的角度节距β相同(α=β),由于能够将多个超声波熔接机10的动作设定在相同的时刻,则控制变简单。
另外,若设定上述超声波焊头11的角度节距α与砧21的角度节距β相互不同,在上述各砧21中的一个与上述超声波熔接机10的超声波焊头11中的一个接近相对时,其他的砧21不与超声波熔接机10的超声波焊头11接近相对。由此,可以使上述各超声波熔接机10不同时进行熔接,可以防止共振的发生。
如图3所示,在辊筒20上设置搬送片状物W(带材W1、W2)的多个搬送部22。上述搬送部22在保持片状物W的同时,与辊筒20和砧21一起旋转,将片状物W从导入辊2搬送至导出辊3。上述搬送部22和砧21被交替地设置在辊筒20的圆周方向上。
另外,优选搬送部22为利用真空来吸附保持片状物W的所谓的垫。是为了防止超声波焊头11接触片状物W的压板部件等。
上述砧21被配置在相互分开的搬送部22之间。如图2(a)、图2(b)所示,上述砧21随着辊筒20一同旋转,从上游的超声波焊头11a依次地接近下游的超声波焊头11b。如图3所示,砧21比搬送部22更向径向外侧突出,由此,可以接近超声波焊头11。
另外,也可以将设置在片状物W内的吸收体C配置在搬送部22上。这种情况下,优选设定搬送部22的高度(距辊筒20的旋转中心O的距离)比砧21的高度(距旋转中心O的距离)低。是为了使厚的吸收体C的部分不接触超声波焊头11。
另外,也可以在搬送部22的两端部,设置比搬送部22的外周更向径向外侧突出的枕部22a。是为了防止片状物W由于砧21与搬送部22之间的高度差而折弯、损坏。
如图4(a)所示,各砧21接近各超声波焊头11时,由超声波焊头11的超声波振动带来的能量被加到片状物W的熔接对象部位WT(图5),该熔接对象部位WT被加热。
另外,为了可以进行图示,在各图中,图示为砧21与超声波焊头11的前端之间的距离比实际的要大一些。
例如,也可以使用在特表平10-513128号(WOP96/23645)中记载的超声波焊头作为超声波焊头11。周知,例如也可以在超声波焊头11的表面形成由多个凸部构成的密封图案。另外,也可以在砧21的表面上形成密封图案以替代在超声波焊头11的表面上形成密封图案。
如图4(a)所示,上述砧21也可以具有接收超声波焊头11振动的第一部a1、第二部a2和承接上述刀具31(图1)的第三部a3。该第三部a3位于第一部a1与第二部a2之间。上述第一部a1、第三部a3、第二部a2沿上述辊筒的圆周方向依次排列。通过上述辊筒20(图1)的旋转,砧21按照上述第一部a1、第三部a3、第二部a2的顺序通过超声波焊头11的前面。
在砧21以图3所示的旋转中心O为中心与辊筒20一起进行旋转运动的情况下,将从旋转中心O到上述第一部a1的第一距离r1与从旋转中心O到上述第二部a2的第二距离r2设定为基本一致。另外,在所有的砧21中,上述第一距离r1和第二距离r2被设定为大致相同。
另外,上述第一及第二距离r1、r2被设定为比从旋转中心O到上述第三部a3的第3距离r3长。即,承接刀具31的上述第三部a3比接受超声波焊头11振动的上述第一部a1和第二部a2更加向旋转中心O凹进。即,砧21的前端部形成为近似“凹”字形。
这样,由于砧21具有第一部a1、第二部a2和第三部a3,所以在利用第一部a1和第二部a2熔接图5(a)的一对熔接对象部位Ws、Ws的同时,在上述熔接对象部位Ws、Ws之间形成未被熔接的非熔接区域Wc。
另外,如图4(a)所示,上述第一部a1和第二部a2的表面也可以形成为,与以旋转中心O(图3)为中心的圆弧R基本一致的圆弧形。是为了得到理想的熔接。
另外,如图4(b)所示,例如也可以采用由3个部件构成砧21的结构。即,也可以通过在具有第三部a3的砧本体21c的两侧,固定由别的部件构成的第一部a1和第二部a2,形成砧21。
在本装置中,在砧21与超声波焊头11相对的状态下,设置有用于计测该砧21与超声波焊头11之间的距离的传感器。
例如,如以下说明,也可以使用通过测定静电电容而测定距离的电容传感器作为上述传感器。
如图4(a)所示,砧21与超声波焊头11,利用导电线,经由计测部(传感器)40相互连接。另外,该砧21与超声波焊头11在以规定的间隔相互相对的状态下,形成具有规定静电电容的电容器40a。
上述计测部40测定与上述电容器40a的静电电容相对应的规定的物理量,由该物理量计算出上述砧21与超声波焊头11之间的距离(间隙的大小)。作为上述物理量,既可以计测振荡电路的频率,也可以计测上述电容器40a的充电电压和充电时间。
上述计测部40通过未图示的接口与控制部41连接,将上述算出的上述距离向控制部41输出。
上述超声波焊头11通过超声波熔接机10被保持在滑动底座43上,可以沿朝向旋转中心O的径向移动。超声波焊头11通过驱动部42与该滑动底座43一起沿上述径向移动。上述控制部41比较从上述计测部40接收的测定距离的信息与设定的基准值,驱动控制驱动部42的电机。即,在上述测定距离比上述基准值大时,驱动控制驱动部42的电机使得上述超声波焊头11接近砧21,另外,在上述距离比上述基准值小时,驱动控制驱动部42,使得上述超声波焊头11远离砧21。即,控制部41根据来自计测部40的距离信息,控制驱动驱动部42,使得上述间隔(间隙)接近规定的基准值。另外,作为上述超声波焊头11和砧21之间的间隔变化的要因,例如,可以举出与片状物接触引起的超声波焊头11的前端面的磨耗和超声波焊头11的振动等。
也可以采用其他种类的传感器作为上述传感器,替代上述电容传感器。例如也可以通过光学式距离传感器计测砧21与超声波焊头11之间的距离。另外,也可以通过向砧21与超声波焊头11施加电压,通过计测流过的电流,计测上述间隔。
下面,说明上述熔接装置的动作。
如图2(a)所示,若辊筒20旋转到上述砧21中的一个砧21a与上游的超声波焊头11a相对的位置,则由上游的超声波焊头11a对上述砧21a上的片状物W的规定位置实施熔接WT(图5),形成熔接对象部位WS。即,若砧21a通过超声波焊头11a,则在夹着图5(a)的非熔接区域WC的两侧形成熔接对象部位WS。
然后,如图2(b)所示,若辊筒20旋转到上述砧21a与下游的超声波焊头11b相对的位置,则由下游的超声波焊头11b再次在上述砧21a上对由上游的超声波焊头11a熔接的熔接对象部位Ws进行熔接(图5)。即,若砧21a通过超声波焊头11b,则在夹着图5(a)的非熔接区域Wc的两侧上再次进行熔接WT。图2(b)表示的片状物W被一定的张力拉张,再被搬送部22保持。所以,由于片状物W不会在砧21上偏移,所以能够利用2个超声波焊头11a、11b熔接片状物W的相同部位。所以,即使当超声波焊头11a在片状物W上进行的熔接的强度没有达到规定值的情况下,通过超声波焊头11b熔接相同部位,也能够得到规定熔接强度。在上述结构中,即使超声波焊头的数量为3个以上,也可以得到同样的效果。
在上述砧21接近超声波焊头11时,通过计测部40测定图4的上述砧21与超声波焊头11的间隔,该测定值被送到控制部41。控制部41根据该测定值,进行驱动部42的控制,使得将超声波焊头11与砧21的间隔保持在规定的距离。
然后,如图1所示,若上述砧21与刀具辊30相对(若辊筒20旋转到可由刀具31切断片状物W的位置),则刀具辊30的刀具31与砧21的第三部a3接触,上述被熔接的两个熔接对象部位Ws之间的部位被切断。这时,其他任何的砧21的第一部a1和第二部a2都不与超声波焊头11相对。
这样,由于在砧21和超声波焊头11熔接片状物W(第一和第二带材W1、W2)时,刀具31不进行切断,所以不存在由该切断引起振动而造成砧21与超声波焊头11的间隔发生变化的问题。另外,在超声波焊头11与砧21相对而进行熔接时,在测定砧21与超声波焊头11的间隔时,由于不产生上述切断引起的振动,所以计测部40的测定的可靠性提高。所以,由于能够将砧21与超声波焊头11之间的距离保持在合适的规定的距离,所以能够对片状物W实施良好的熔接。
由上述刀具31切断的片状物W被导出辊3接收后,被搬送往下游。
虽然如上所述,参照图纸说明了适宜的实施方式,若为业内人士,阅读本说明书,则可以在不言自明的范围内容易地设想各种变更和修正。
例如,也可以对所谓的横向进给或者纵向进给的穿着用品实施熔接。另外,也可以熔接被切断为各种制品大小的片状物的一部分。
所以,那样的变更和修正可以被解释为是在由权力要求界定的本发明的范围内的内容。
产业上的可利用性
本发明能够适用于一次性穿着用品、建筑用和医疗用等的各种制品和中间产品的熔接和切断的装置。
Claims (5)
1.一种熔接装置,熔接第一带材和第二带材重合的重合部分,其特征在于,包括:
围绕规定的轴线旋转的辊筒;
设置在所述辊筒的外周,与所述辊筒一起旋转,且一边保持所述第一和第二带材一边对其进行搬送的搬送部;
设置在所述辊筒的外周,与所述辊筒一起旋转,大致沿所述轴线方向延伸的砧;
与所述辊筒的外周接近设置,与所述砧相配合,向所述重合部分施加振动能量的超声波焊头;
与所述辊筒的外周接近设置,与所述砧接触,切断所述第一和第二带材的刀具;
测定所述砧和所述超声波焊头之间的距离的传感器;和
根据所述传感器测定的所述砧与所述超声波焊头之间的距离,控制所述超声波焊头与所述砧之间的距离的控制部,其中
在所述超声波焊头与所述砧相配合、向所述第一和第二带材施加所述振动能量时,所述刀具不进行所述第一和第二带材的切断。
2.根据权利要求1所述的熔接装置,其特征在于:
所述砧具有接受所述超声波焊头的振动的第一部和第二部、以及承接所述刀具的第三部,该第三部位于所述第一部与第二部之间,
所述第一部、所述第三部、所述第二部沿所述辊筒的圆周方向依次排列。
3.根据权利要求2所述的熔接装置,其特征在于:
从所述砧的旋转中心到所述第一部的距离与从所述旋转中心到所述第二部的距离大致相同。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的熔接装置,其特征在于:
从所述砧的旋转中心到所述第一部和所述第二部的距离比从所述旋转中心到所述第三部的距离长。
5.一种熔接装置,熔接第一带材和第二带材相互重合的重合部分,其特征在于,包括:
能够旋转,搬送所述第一和第二带材的搬送部;
与所述搬送部一起旋转,沿旋转轴方向延伸的砧;
与所述砧相配合,向所述重合部分施加振动能量的超声波焊头;
测定所述砧和所述超声波焊头之间的距离的传感器;
根据来自所述传感器的信息,控制所述超声波焊头与所述砧之间距离的控制部;和
切断所述第一和第二带材的刀具,
所述砧和搬送部能够从配置所述超声波焊头的位置向配置所述刀具的位置移动,
所述砧和所述超声波焊头在熔接所述第一和第二带材时,所述刀具不进行第一和第二带材的切断。
