已知的灭菌片材可以由以下制成:非织造材料和绉纸,例如标准绉纸或主要由木浆和添加剂组成的微绉纸;主要由木浆、添加剂和合成粘合剂组成的加强绉纸;由木浆、粘合剂、添加剂和疏水性合成纤维的混合物组成的“非织造湿法材料”;或者由100%的合成纤维、尤其是聚丙烯组成的,通过通用名称“SMS(纺粘-熔喷-纺粘或者也称纺-熔-纺)”为大家熟知的“非织造熔喷材料”。
为了节省使用者的时间,在公开了各自包括SMS类型的热塑性化合物的灭菌片材的专利申请WO95/01135和WO2013/068907中提出将两个片材熔接在一起。
非热熔型纤维素片材和基于热塑性化合物的尤其是SMS类型的热熔型合成片材的组合将可以调和基本上由纤维素片材提供的细菌屏障性能和基本上由基于热塑性化合物的片材提供的机械保护性能。
目前,现在不可以以永久的方式直接将纤维素片材熔接至SMS类型的热熔型片材,通过热或超声的熔接不允许在具有不同的热熔性能的这两种类型的片材之间产生足够的粘合力。
一种解决方案包括使用粘结剂。然而,引入粘结剂导致额外的成本、灭菌稳定性降低、医疗器械的污染的风险以及额外的包装阶段。
本发明意在克服该缺点。
发明内容
因此,根据第一方面,本发明的目的是一种可灭菌的多层材料,尤其是用于包装至少一个医疗用器械的可灭菌的多层材料,该可灭菌的多层材料包括夹在至少一个热熔型片材的热熔型材料的两个层之间的非热熔型片材,热熔型材料的这些层跨过非热熔型片材被熔接在一起。
如此获得的多层材料满足上述标准ISO 11607-1:06和EN 868-2:09。
因此,为了在提供必需的细菌屏障的同时允许灭菌气体通过,该多层材料是充分多孔的。
惊奇地,通过将两层热熔型材料跨过非热熔型片材而熔接在一起,可以将非热熔型片材附接至一个或多个热熔型片材。
在本发明中的两个片材之间的叠覆或一个片材面被另一个片材叠覆的概念可以包括或可以不包括两个片材之间的接触。
一个或多个非热熔型片材(尤其当由纤维素网制成时)可以不生成残留物的无污染方式通过熔接的能量而被分解,这可以允许叠加层的热熔型材料扩散跨过该非热熔型片材,从而在冷却后获得机械上强固的熔接。
“热熔型片材”意指对于大部分或更好地唯一地由热熔型化合物(优选在小于或等于300℃、或更好地小于或等于250℃的温度下可液化的那些化合物)组成的片材。
“非热熔型片材”意指不具有热熔型化合物的片材,或者如果人们试图将片材与其自身熔接(尤其为了获得根据标准ASTM F88的密封强度大于或等于100cN/15mm的熔接)时、其热熔型化合物的总含量不足以产生强固熔接的片材。
非热熔型片材优选地由如下详述的纤维素网组成。
多层材料
热熔型片材的“热熔型材料的层”意指该片材的一区域。
一个置于另一个上且跨过非热熔型片材而熔接的热熔型材料的层可属于同一个热熔型片材或不属于同一个热熔型片材。当它们属于同一个热熔型片材时,其中一个层由该片材的前缘(flap)构成,该片材然后折叠到其自身上且折叠到非热熔型片材上。
在下文中,为了区分其中夹有非热熔型片材的热熔型材料的两个层,这些层应被限定为“上层”和“下层”,以便分别指明覆盖非热熔型片材的上表面的层和覆盖非热熔型片材的下表面的层。
多层材料的非热熔型片材的上表面可以仅部分地被热熔型材料的上层覆盖。
多层材料的非热熔型片材的下表面可以全部被热熔型材料的下层覆盖。
如上所述,多层材料的热熔型材料的上层和热熔型材料的下层可以属于同一个热熔型片材。该片材因此跨过非热熔型片材而与其自身熔接。
非热熔型片材可以具有两个相对的边缘,尤其是平行的边缘,热熔型片材可以沿着所述边缘折叠在非热熔型片材的任一侧上。
非热熔型片材可以具有四个边缘,尤其是成对平行的边缘,热熔型片材可以沿着所述边缘中的一个边缘、两个边缘、三个边缘或四个边缘折叠在自身上。
热熔型片材的宽度优选大于非热熔型片材的宽度,以便热熔型片材被折叠到非热熔型片材的边缘上,从而以夹层的方式含有非热熔型片材。
热熔型片材可以完全覆盖非热熔型片材的下表面且折叠到非热熔型片材的上表面上、尤其是折叠到非热熔型片材的相对的边缘上。
根据上述标准ASTM F88“柔性屏障材料的密封强度的标准测试方法(StandardTest Method for Seal Strength of Flexible Barrier Materials)”,多层材料可具有大于或等于100cN/15mm、或更好地大于或等于300cN/15mm、或甚至更好地大于或等于500cN/15mm的密封强度。
这种密封强度可以在包装、灭菌和储存阶段期间将构成产品的不同片材保持在一起。
多层片材有利地不具有用于将片材装配在一起且适用于该片材的粘结剂。粘结剂的不存在降低了多层材料的细胞毒性的风险。
多层材料优选地与通过EtO气体和/或通过蒸汽和/或通过干热和/或通过低温甲醛蒸汽(LTFS)的灭菌工艺、和/或任何其它非氧化的灭菌工艺相兼容。
多层材料优选地用来包装至少一个医疗器械,尤其是可重复使用的医疗器械。待被包装的医疗器械可设置在非热熔型片材的上表面上,然后多层材料可围绕该医疗器械折叠以包裹该医疗器械。
根据标准EN 13795和/或AAMI BP 70,根据本发明的多层材料也允许产生无菌手术区。
非热熔型片材
在下文中,根据标准ISO 536限定基重。
非热熔型片材优选地是基于纤维素纤维的片材。
非热熔型片材可以是非织造材料或纸(优选由纤维素木质纤维制成的材料)、或其它植物材料(例如棉花、大麻、亚麻、竹子以及其它植物)。
在非织造材料的情况下,片材可以为通过所谓的“气流成网(airlaid)”的干法获得的网,包括例如100%的化学上强化的纤维素纤维。
非热熔型片材也可以是通过湿法获得的非织造材料,包括例如纤维素纤维和合成纤维(尤其是PET、PP或PA的纤维)、以及一种或多种合成粘合剂(例如丙烯酸类粘合剂、乙烯类粘合剂或苯乙烯类粘合剂,尤其是基于苯乙烯丁二烯的那些粘合剂)。
非热熔型片材还可以是通过所谓的“水刺”机械上强化的非织造材料,包括纤维素纤维和合成纤维。
在纸的情况下,非热熔型片材可以是100%的纤维素纸或所谓的“乳胶”纸,其借助于一种或多种合成粘合剂(例如丙烯酸类粘合剂、乙烯类粘合剂或苯乙烯类粘合剂,尤其是基于苯乙烯丁二烯的那些粘合剂)而被加固。
在任何情况下,非热熔型片材的热熔型化合物的总含量不足以使该非热熔型片材能够以所期望的密封强度(尤其是大于或等于100cN/15mm)在自身上密封。
特别地,热熔型化合物、尤其热塑性化合物的总含量可以小于非热熔型片材的总重量的50%,或优选小于30%。
非热熔型片材的优选重量取决于其种类。
优选地,对于气流成网类型的非织造材料的非热熔型片材,重量为15g/m2至100g/m2、优选范围为30g/m2至50g/m2
对于水刺类型的非织造材料,重量优选小于100g/m2、优选小于50g/m2
对于纸、尤其是100%的纤维素纸或乳胶纸,或者对于通过湿法获得的非织造材料,重量优选小于或等于100g/m2、优选地小于或等于80g/m2、更优选地小于或等于60g/m2
非热熔型片材可以是绉纸。
非热熔型片材具有纤维结构,其呈现出纤维的足够密集的缠结以确保对于细菌的屏障作用,同时是充分多孔的且透气的以允许通过气体(尤其是用于灭菌的那些气体)。该非热熔型片材不应该再次释放物质。
非热熔型片材可以具有不同于热熔型片材的颜色的颜色。
热熔型片材
热熔型片材具有的热熔型化合物的总含量足以获得期望的结合。
该含量优选地按重量计大于或等于50%、优选地大于或等于90%。
热熔型片材的一种或多种热熔型化合物优选为热塑性化合物。
多层材料的一个或多个热熔型片材因此可以由一种或多种热塑性化合物构成。
一个或多个热熔型片材可以通过仅包括热熔型纤维、尤其是热塑性纤维的非织造材料来限定。
热熔型片材可以是通过干法、通过湿法、或通过熔融法强化的非织造材料。
在熔融法的情况下,可以是“纺粘”或“熔喷”材料(这些非织造材料通过纤维的挤出、然后通过热轧或超声的热固来获得)、或这些非织造材料的任意组合。
热熔型片材可因此包括“纺”或“熔”类型的一个或多个层,特别地,热熔型片材可以是“纺”或“纺-纺”(SS)或“纺-纺-纺”(SSS)或“纺-熔-纺”(SMS)或“纺-纺-熔-纺”(SSMS)或“纺-熔-熔-纺”(SMMS)或“熔-熔”(MM)或“熔-熔-熔”(MMM)或“纺-纺-熔-熔-熔-纺”(SSMMMS)以及“纺”和“熔”技术的其它组合的类型的片材。
一个或多个热熔型片材可以包括或特别地由以下聚合物构成:聚丙烯PP、PET、PA、PE、PP-PE、和/或PLA(优选PP)、或任何其它可生物降解的热熔型聚合物。
热熔型片材也可以包括核/壳类型的二元纤维,尤其是由PET/PE或PP/PE制成的核/壳类型的二元纤维。
一个或多个热熔型片材的重量可以在10g/m2和100g/m2之间、优选在30g/m2和60g/m2之间。
熔接
非热熔型片材可以具有两个边缘、特别是平行的边缘,并且可以至少沿着片材的至少一个边缘的至少一部分、优选地沿着两个边缘的每一者的至少一部分,进行熔接。
当热熔型材料的上层和热熔型材料的下层由同一个热熔型片材构成且非热熔型片材包括两个相对的且平行的边缘时,热熔型片材可以沿着所述边缘折叠在非热熔型片材的任一侧上并熔接。
可以沿着一条或多条熔接线进行熔接,该熔接沿着每条熔接线是连续的或间断的。
熔接线的宽度可以在1mm和100mm之间、优选地在2mm和10mm之间。
熔接优选为超声熔接。
熔接的足迹可以包括、特别地由一条或多条连续的和/或间断的线、和/或图案等构成。
熔接也可以是通过传导、通过激光、或通过热气体加热的熔接。
在熔接步骤之前,借助于例如激光,可以在非热熔型片材中进行穿孔。这种穿孔可以促进热熔型材料通过非热熔型片材。
可以在没有先前的穿孔的情况下进行熔接。
附加的片材
多层材料可以包括一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材和/或一个或多个额外的热熔型片材。
附加的非热熔型片材可以设置在所述热熔型材料的下层和所述热熔型材料的上层之间,所述热熔型材料的下层和所述热熔型材料的上层于是跨过一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材而与彼此熔接。热熔型材料的下层和上层有利地由同一个热熔型片材构成。
多层材料可以包括一个或多个附加的热熔型片材。
多层材料可以包括第一热熔型片材,其以夹层的方式保持第一非热熔型片材和可选地一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材,尤其沿着第一非热熔型片材的第一边缘以夹层的方式保持第一非热熔型片材和可选地一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材。
由于跨过第一非热熔型片材和可选地一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材、沿着第一非热熔型片材的第二边缘的熔接,第二热熔型片材可以以夹层的方式保持第一非热熔型片材和可选地一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材,该第二边缘特别地平行于第一边缘。
因此可以通过一个或多个热熔型片材以夹层的方式将第一非热熔型片材和一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材在它们的边缘中的至少一个边缘、尤其两个边缘上保持,来将第一非热熔型片材与一个或多个附加的非热熔型片材缚牢。
这种多层材料可以在两个非热熔型片材之间固定它们,而不需要添加粘结剂。
多层材料的一个或多个最外部片材可以由一个或多个热熔型片材限定。一个或多个非热熔型片材因此可以以夹层的方式保持在覆盖该一个或多个非热熔型片材的全部或部分的一个或多个外部热熔型片材之间。
多层材料可以包括被称为上部非热熔型片材的附加的非热熔型片材,该上部非热熔型片材具有上表面和下表面,上述热熔型材料的上层部分地或全部地被上部非热熔型片材的下表面覆盖,上部非热熔型片材的上表面部分地或全部地被称为第二级别的热熔型材料的上层的热熔型材料层覆盖,热熔型材料的上层和第二级别的热熔型材料的上层跨过上部非热熔型片材熔接在一起。
多层材料可以包括被称为下部非热熔型片材的附加的非热熔型片材,该下部非热熔型片材具有上表面和下表面,上述热熔型材料的下层部分地或全部地被下部非热熔型片材的上表面覆盖,下部非热熔型片材的下表面部分地或全部地被称为第二级别的热熔型材料的下层的热熔型材料层覆盖,热熔型材料的下层和第二级别的热熔型材料的下层跨过下部非热熔型片材熔接在一起。
上部非热熔型片材和/或下部非热熔型片材和/或更一般地各个附加的非热熔型片材可以各自具有以上描述的关于非热熔型片材的一个或多个特征。
第二级别的上部热熔型片材和/或第二级别的下部热熔型片材和/或更一般地各个附加的热熔型片材可以各自具有以上描述的关于限定上述热熔型材料的上层和下层的一个或多个热熔型片材的一个或多个特征。
热熔型材料的上层至第二级别的热熔型材料的上层的熔接可以重叠热熔型材料的上层在热熔型材料的下层上的熔接。作为变型,热熔型材料的上层至第二级别的热熔型材料的上层的熔接可以不重叠热熔型材料的上层在热熔型材料的下层上的熔接。
热熔型材料的下层至第二级别的热熔型材料的下层的熔接可以重叠热熔型材料的上层在热熔型材料的下层上的熔接。作为变型,热熔型材料的下层至第二级别的热熔型材料的下层的熔接可以不重叠热熔型材料的上层在热熔型材料的下层上的熔接。
包装
本发明的另一方面还涉及一种包括根据本发明的多层材料和至少一个医疗用器械(尤其是在无菌条件下的医疗用器械)的组合。
多层材料可以通过例如包封类型或方形类型的折叠而围绕医疗器械折叠。
制造方法
本发明的另一方面还涉及一种根据本发明的多层材料的制造方法,包括优选地通过超声,将热熔型材料的上层跨过非热熔型片材熔接至热熔型材料的下层的步骤。非热熔型片材可以不被预先在组装区域微穿孔。作为变型,提供非热熔型片材的穿孔的第一步骤。
可以有利地在作业线(in a line)中进行熔接步骤。
制造方法可以包括如下步骤:在熔接步骤之前,将熔接站、尤其是超声熔接站,放置在缠绕机上。
当热熔型材料的下层和热熔型材料的上层由同一个热熔型片材构成时,制造方法可包括如下步骤、尤其是如下在作业线中的步骤:在熔接步骤之前,将热熔型片材的至少一侧、尤其两侧折叠到自身上,尤其通过轨道系统将热熔型片材的至少一侧、尤其两侧折叠到自身上,以便以夹层方式夹住非热熔型片材。
超声频率可以在10kHz和100kHz之间、优选地在20kHz和40kHz之间。
超声可以允许非热熔型片材的分解、尤其是为热熔型材料形成通道,并且产生能够使热熔型材料的上层跨过如此固定化的非热熔型片材熔接至热熔型材料的下层的加热。
超声可以通过连接至声学单元的发生器产生,该声学单元包括被设计成将该发生器提供的电能转换成机械振动的换能器、被设计成放大该机械振动的放大器、和被设计成将该机械振动转移至多层材料的焊头(sonotrode)。
该方法可以涉及静态的或转动的熔接系统。系统的选择可取决于所采用的生产模式(尤其是单一单元或连续的)、所期望的生产速度和预期的熔接质量。
超声熔接能够使连续的且在非常高的速度下的具有精密度的经济的工作过程成为可能。同样可以使用热熔接机器或激光。
在该方法的一个示例实施方式中:
a.将非热熔型片材穿孔,尤其通过微穿孔将非热熔型片材穿孔,然后
b.将热熔型材料的上层和热熔型材料的下层热结合,尤其通过非热熔型片材的穿孔将热熔型材料的上层和热熔型材料的下层热结合。

具体实施方式
在图1至图10中,不同的组成部分已在组装之前示意性地示出。出于清楚的理由,不总是遵从真实的比例。
图1示出根据本发明的用于包装至少一个医疗用器械的多层材料1。
该材料包括具有下表面Sinf-p和上表面Ssup-p的非热熔型片材2。该非热熔型片材优选为如上详述的非织造材料或纤维素纸。
下表面Sinf-p被热熔型材料的下层3覆盖,上表面Ssup-p被热熔型材料的上层4覆盖。
热熔型材料的下层和热熔型材料的上层这里由与非热熔型片材2接触的同一个热熔型片材F构成。
热熔型片材F因此完全地覆盖非热熔型片材2的下表面Sinf-p并部分地覆盖其上表面Ssup-p
热熔型片材F被折叠到非热熔型片材2的任一侧上,从而以夹层方式保持该非热熔型片材2。
非热熔型片材2具有两个平行的边缘5a和5b,片材F沿着该边缘5a和5b折叠。
片材F跨过片材2,沿着两条熔接线6a和6b,沿着片材2的两个边缘5a和5b与自身熔接。在熔接的区域中,多层材料因此含有一个置于另一个上的三个层。
一个层可因此将包括热塑性化合物的热熔型片材F(尤其是SMS类型的热熔型片材)与非热熔型纤维素片材2密封,尽管它们对于直接熔接具有不兼容性。由于非热熔型片材被片材F夹在中间,这么做是可行的,因此片材F以卷边的方式折叠。
为了跨过片材2将片材F与自身熔接,将片材2放置在片材F上。片材F的宽度大于片材2的宽度,使得片材F能够沿着片材2的边缘折叠且以夹层的方式夹住片材2。
片材F的上部和下部可因此在超声熔接站被熔接在一起。
图7示出根据本发明的材料的变型,其中,片材F仅沿着片材2的一个边缘折叠和熔接。
在图8的示例中,多层材料1包括附加的非热熔型片材2’,该附加的非热熔型片材2’覆盖片材2且以夹层的方式沿着其边缘5’a被沿着熔接线6a与自身熔接的片材F夹住。
该多层材料1同样包括第二热熔型片材F’,该第二热熔型片材F’以夹层的方式沿着片材2和附加的片材2’各自的边缘5b和5’b而夹住片材2和附加的片材2’,一个置于另一个之上的部分沿着熔接线6b熔接。
因此,片材2和附加的片材2’在它们的边缘处被片材F和片材F’缚住。这使得可以组装两个非热熔型片材2和2’,而不用添加粘结剂。
在未示出的一个实施方式中,图8的多层材料缺少第二片材F’。
图6示出根据本发明的多层材料1的示例,其中,热熔型材料的下层3和热熔型材料的上层4来自同一个片材F,该片材F折叠在片材2的任一侧上,完全覆盖片材2的上表面Ssup-p和下表面Sinf-p。沿着片材2的一个边缘5,在相对片材F的折叠的一侧进行熔接6。

Claims (22)

1.一种可灭菌的多层材料(1),尤其是用于包装至少一个医疗用器械的可灭菌的多层材料(1),包括夹在至少一个热熔型片材(F)的热熔型材料的下层(3)和上层(4)之间的非热熔型片材(2),热熔型材料的这些层跨过所述非热熔型片材被熔接在一起。

13.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的多层材料(1),包括附加的上部非热熔型片材(10),所述附加的上部非热熔型片材(10)具有上表面(Ssup-ps)和下表面(Sinf-ps),热塑性材料的上层(4)部分地或全部地被所述附加的上部非热熔型片材(10)的所述下表面(Sinf-ps)覆盖,所述附加的上部非热熔型片材(10)的所述上表面(Ssup-ps)部分地或全部地被第二级别的热熔型材料的上层(11)覆盖,所述热熔型材料的上层(4)和所述第二级别的热熔型材料的上层(11)跨过所述附加的上部非热熔型片材(10)熔接在一起。
14.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的多层材料(1),所述多层材料(1)包括附加的非热熔型片材(20),所述附加的非热熔型片材(20)具有上表面(Ssup-pi)和下表面(Sinf-pi),热塑性材料的下层(3)部分地或全部地被附加的下部非热熔型片材(20)的所述上表面(Ssup-pi)覆盖,所述附加的下部非热熔型片材(20)的所述下表面(Sinf-pi)部分地或全部地被第二级别的热熔型材料的下层(21)的覆盖,所述热熔型材料的下层(3)和所述第二级别的热熔型材料的下层(21)跨过所述附加的下部非热熔型片材(20)熔接在一起。
15.一种如权利要求1至14中任一项所述的多层材料(1)的制造方法,包括将所述热熔型材料的上层(4)跨过所述非热熔型片材(2)熔接至所述热熔型材料的下层(3)的步骤。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中,通过超声进行所述熔接。
17.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中,通过传导、激光或热气体进行所述熔接。
18.如权利要求15至17中任一项所述的制造方法,其中,所述热熔型材料的下层(3)和所述热熔型材料的上层(4)由同一个热熔型片材(F)限定,所述方法包括如下步骤、尤其是如下在作业线中的步骤:在熔接步骤之前,将所述热熔型片材(F)折叠到自身上、尤其通过轨道系统将所述热熔型片材(F)折叠到自身上,以便以夹层方式夹住所述非热熔型片材(2)。
