Compostos de fórmula I na qual: A é =N ou n~ 13~ é 1, 2 ou 3; W é um grupo R~ 1~ é C~ 1 - 4~ alquila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquila, C~ 2 - 4~ alquenila, C~ 2 - 4~ halogenoalquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ cicloalquila, amino, NHR~ 8~ ou NR~ 8~R~ 9~; R~ 8~ e R~ 9~, independentemente entre eles, são C~ 1 - 4~ alquila; ou R~ 8~ e R~ 9~ formam conjuntamente uma ponte de C~ 2 - 5~ alquileno; R~ 2~ significa hidrogênio, C~ 1 - 4~ alquila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquila, C~ 3 - 6~ alquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ halogenoalquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ alquinila, C~ 1 - 4~ alquilsulfonila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoal quilsulfonila, C~ 2 - 4~ alquenilsulfonila ou C~ 2 - 4~ halogenoalquenilsulfonila; R~ 3~ é hidrogênio, C~ 1 - 4~ alquila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquila, C~ 1 - 4~ hidroxialquila, C~ 3 - 6~ alquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ halogenoalquenila, C~ 2 - 6~ alquinila, halogênio, ciano, NH~ 2~C(S)-, nitro, OHC- ou R~ 18~R~ 19~N-; R~ 18~ e R~ 19~, independentemente entre eles, são hidrogênio, C~ 1 - 4~ alquila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquila, C~ 3 - 4~ alquenila, C~ 3 - 4~ halogenoalquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ cicloalquila, C~ 3 - 6~ alquinila, C~ 1 - 6~ alquilcarbonila, C~ 1 - 6~ halogenoalquilcarbonila, C~ 2 - 6~ alquenilcarbonila, C~ 2 - 6~ halogenoalquenilcarbonila, C~ 1 - 6~ alquilsulfonila ou C~ 1 - 6~ halogenoalquilsulfonila; n~ 1~ é 0, 1, ou 2; R~ 4~ significa hidrogênio, C~ 1 - 4~ alquila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquila, C~ 3 - 6~ alquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ halogenoalquenila, C~ 3 - 6~ alquinila ou C~ 3 - 6~ cicloalquila; R~ 5~ significa hidrogênio, halogênio, C~ 1 - 4~ alquila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquila, ciano, nitro, amino, NH~ 2~C(S)-, C~ 1 - 4~ alquilcarbonila, C~ 1 - 4~ halogenoalquilcarbonila, C~ 2 - 4~ alquenilcarbonila, C~ 2 - 4~ halogenoalquenilcarbonila ou C~ 2 - 4~ alquinilcarbonila; U significa C~ 1~ - ou C~ 2~ - alquileno, -CH~ 2~-O-, -CH~ 2~-S-, oxigênio ou enxofre, R~ 11~ é hidrogênio, flúor, cloro, bromo ou metila; R~ 13~ tem o significado indicado na reivindicação 1, bem como sais e estereoisómeros aceitáveis agroquimicamente desses compostos de fórmula I, têm boas propriedades herbicidas seletivas, pré- e pós-emergentes. A preparação desses compostos e o uso deles como ingredientes herbicidas ativos são descritos.
