Uma fralda descartável de vestir 1 possuindo uma estrutura absorvente do tipo da calcinha justa 2; e uma cobertura do tipo de calção 3 adaptada para encobrir a estrutura absorvente 2. A cobertura 3 compreende substancialmente um par de folhas 16, 17 colocadas uma sobre a outra e pelo menos uma dessas duas folhas 16, 17 é formada com um par de pregas que es estendem em paralelo e simetricamente com relação a uma linha de centro que divide uma largura de uma fralda 1 em dois, uma das pregas apresentando uma seção transversal em formato de Z e a outra apresentando uma seção transversal em formato de Z invertido.
