''índice para refinamento de expressão de pesquisa'' a presente invenção refere-se a métodos implementados por computador e um sistema de computação para apresentar um novo paradigma de interface com o usuário que permite aos usuários explorarem facetas relacionadas com um termo de expressão de pesquisa enquanto mantendo o estado original do termo de expressao de pesquisa ou permanecendo dentro dos limites do tópico definido pelo usuário. os métodos e sistema apresentam facetas ou categorias de tópicos relevantes de um termo de expressão de pesquisa gerado por um usuário. então, o usuário pode esplorar estas facetas em um série de concretizações enquanto mantém o estado da pesquisa.
