"MéTODO E APARATO PARA RESTABELECIMENTO DE COMUNICAçãO EM UM DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIOS APóS PERDA DE COMUNICAçãO EM REDE DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIOS". São revelados diversos aparelhos e métodos correlatos para restabelecer a comunicação entre um dispositivo de comunicação sem fio após perda de comunicação entre o dispositivo sem fio e uma rede de comunicação sem fio; em um exemplo ilustrativo, a rede sem fio difunde identificadores de dispositivos sem fio associados com perdas de comunicação na rede sem fio sobre um canal de controle; após ganhar novamente a cobertura do sinal, um dispositivo sem fio monitora o canal de controle para decodificar e comparar cada identificador difundido com o identificador do dispositivo sem fio; com base em uma comparação entre um identificador difundido e o identificador do dispositivo sem fio, o dispositivo sem fio transmite uma mensagem de controle que informa à rede sem fio a presença do dispositivo sem fio; de outro modo, o dispositivo sem fio refreia de transmitir a mensagem de controle à rede sem fio; vantajosamente, a comunicação com a rede sem fio é restabelecida sem sobrecarregar o link sem fio com tráfego desnecessário.
