Abstract
Abstract 5 This invention is related to a nasal razor device made up of two parts safety razor head (A) and handle (B) as in figure 1 which can be used manually with no external power supply and which can clean shave internal nose hairs to the lowest possible length. The safety razor head (A) is specially shaped narrow to reach narrow parts of nose and equipped with two sharp safety blades for better and safer shaving capabilities. The angle and pressure of nasal razor device with respect to internal 1O nasal skin depends on the user to get the safe and desired results of internal hair removal. This device is also capable of removing nasal hair in clockwise as well as anticlockwise stroke with respect to human nose interior. In other words this device is capable of working in the direction or in the opposite direction of nasal hair grain. Fig 1. Page 1
Description
1 Field of Invention: [0001]This device removes hair manually from human nose interior with the help of safety razor blade. It works on entirely with human effort. It contains either one set of twin razor blade. This 5 device is also capable of shaving in both directions with respect to nasal hair means from left to right as well as right to left. Background of the invention: 10 [0002]Human body grows hair on the surface of the skin and needs to be removed at a regular interval to keep personal hygiene and looks. Nose is located on the face of human body and grows hairs which are thicker and hard to reach. Nose is a very sensitive organ of human body and if anything of significant size inserted in to it will result in itchiness inside the nose as well as sneezing. f5 [0003]Current inventions of nose trimmer (Patent No US D569,552 S) and nose clipper (Patent no US D 503,495 S/US D 476,444 S 1) use rotary or oscillating blades to trim or cut the hair but they fail to achieve result which are achievable with Nasal Razor Device herein. Along with the hair length, these devices also absent of any vibrations compared to other battery operated devices. The vibrations caused by the above mentioned device makes the hair cutting an unpleasant experience 20 and may also result in sneeze. The Nasal Razor Device is absent of any vibrations and it is very small in shape and that is why it is far better than the rotary nose clipper (US D 503,495 S) and nose hair trimmer device (US D569,552 S). The people who cannot afford to buy the electronic nose hair trimming device usually use scissors or pair of tweezers which can be dangerous yet not so effective. The scissors or nose clipper (US 252,5450 A) are sharp and likely to injure delicate nasal tissues and 25 the tweezers can be difficult to use for new users. This issue can be clearly solved by the Nasal Razor Device which uses the safety razor (A) which is angled at less than approximately 30 degrees when in contact of human skin. This makes it the safest and least sensitive device to be used inside the nose unlike scissors, tweezers and electric nose clippers collectively. 30 Description [0004]The nasal razor device is very simple which consists steel handle (B) which is approximately 80 millimeters long, 6 millimeters wide and 2 millimeters thick with rubber coating for better grip 2 on one end and safety razor head (A) mounted on the other end of the handle. The handle (B) is 4 millimeters wide at top about 13 millimeters of length where it comes in contact of safety razor head (A). The top end of handle (B) has a pin (C) across the width of the handle. The pin (C) allows the handle (B) to be secured with safety razor head (A) between pin housing (D). Pin housing (D) on 5 safety razor head (A) designed to accept pin(C) of handle (B). The safety razor (A) is not ready for use until the narrow part of handle (B) is secured between snap on points (El and E2) located on both ends of safety razor head (A). [0005]The safety razor head (A) has a very narrow width of 6 millimeters, length of 25 millimeters 10 and thickness of 4 millimeters thus rectangle in shape. Safety razor head (A) is made up of thermoplastic and rubber coating on surfaces where it can possibly come in contact of human skin inside the nose. Safety razor head (A) is mounted with two safety blades angled at 30 degree to the top or shaving surface of safety razor head (A). The safety razor head (A) is widely used and known to most of people. The safety razor head (A) design is not in the discussion but the size of safety f5 razor head (A) is of very importance to make it operable for the intended purpose of shaving nasal hairs. [0006]The safety razor head (A) is designed and mounted on the handle in such a way which enables no sharp edges or corners on the whole body of the device. This feature enables safety of 20 nasal interior which is prone to skin cuts. The body of the nasal razor device is perfectly straight to allow the user the reversible feature of the device which we are going to discuss later. [0007]The nasal razor device works same as a normal razor which is widely used to shave facial hairs like mustache and beard. The principle of any shaving is moving the blade across the hairs and 25 the sharp edges of blades will shave the facial hairs to the length which depends on sharpness and distance at which the blade travels from the skin. If the blade is applied pressure lateral to the skin then the blades move closer to the skin. The nasal razor device in discussion here is designed to penetrate inside the external nose on human face for the object of shaving nasal hair with utmost safety and precision as well as with no or minimum uneasiness. The nasal razor device has safety 30 razor head (A) positioned parallel to the nasal cavity so that it can be inserted and operated easily (refer fig 4) inside the nose. The movement of safety razor head (A) with respect to internal nasal skin enables shaving of nasal hairs.
3 [0008]The safety razor head (A) at middle of body is pivoted on handle (refer fig 1) which enables to use it left or right handed. The safety razor head (A) also has Snap-On latches (El and E2) to secure the handle in position 1 (for shaving strokes left to right) or position 2 (for shaving strokes right to left) as per figure 3. Once the safety razor head (A) is secured in position 1 or 2 (Figure 3) 5 with the help of snap of latches (El and E2), it can be used anticlockwise or clockwise respective to the nose for the purpose of removal of nasal hairs which entirely depends on user's discretion. If the handle (B) is secured in snap on latch El the safety razor of nasal razor device will assume position Al which enables the user to shave in anticlockwise motion inside the nose. If the handle (B) is secured in snap on latch E2 then the nasal razor device will assume position 2 which will allow user 1O to shave in clockwise motion with respect to the nasal cavity (ref fig 3). Figure 3 shows front and back views of position 1 and 2 as well as top and bottom views. [0009] Once the safety razor head (A) is secured with snap on latch (E1) or (E2) the nasal razor device is ready for the use inside the nasal cavity. f5 Brief Description of Drawings Figure 1 represents the overall idea of the nasal razor device as well as break up in two parts which 20 are safety razor head (A) and handle (B). Figures 2 describes about safety razor details possible blade positions and snap on latches (El and E2) and handle pin (C) pin housing (D) Figure 3 describes about position 1 and position 2 of the safety razor head (A) as described in paragraph 0008 on page no 3. The left hand group of three figures presents side, front and rear views 25 position 1 and the right hand side group of three figures represents front, rear and side views of position 2 of nasal safety razor. The figures at the top represent top views of the respective position of nasal safety razor.
