Abstract
In apparatus (10) for heating workpieces (20,20,20''), having multiple burner jets (40, 50) for heating the workpieces during passage in series and/or parallel through the apparatus on a transporter (30), the burner jets are independently switchable on and off by a control unit. An independent claim is included for a corresponding workpiece heating procedure, in which the burner jets (40) located within the workpiece contour regions of the workpiece transport path are switched on and the burner jets (50) located outside the workpiece contour regions of the workpiece transport path are switched off.
