Abstract

The method involves associating a value zone (14) with a value code (111) using a geographical position parameter (112), by a central unit (30). The zone, value units (113) and an identification number (102) are transmitted to a reloading unit (40) for loading and reloading a dedicated storage unit (101), via a communication channel. A sum of money corresponding to the value zone and the value units is credited in the storage unit via another communication channel, using the identification number, by the reloading unit. A switching device (10) is activated based on the credited sum of money. An independent claim is also included for a system for loading and reloading a dedicated storage unit of a switching device.
