Abstract

1. A firearm having an adjustable sling and a pivotable butt, the sling being releasably secured to the front of the weapon in the vicinity of the muzzle and at the rear thereof behind the magazine, characterised in that at least two selectively usable fastening locations (15, 16, 22) for the sling (10) are provided at the rear, one (15) of which fastening locations is disposed on the breech housing (4) and the others (16, 22) being disposed on the pivotable butt (1).
