Abstract

The lamp holder has an insulating housing with contacts (13) contained in respective reception chambers, each cooperating with the corresponding lamp contact pin at one side and provided with a screwless clamp terminal for the respective conductor lead at the other side. Each contact has an integral retaining spring (23) engaging the wall of the reception chamber and provided by a radially projecting crown with opposing edges spaced apart by a distance which is slightly greater than the width of the reception chamber. These edges are deflected by insertion of the contact to grip the reception chamber wall.
