Verbundofeh with sole channels for burning pottery .. like.

The invention relates to kilns for ceramic products of all kinds to use for hard coal, lignite and other fuels and which are built as composite ovens with un indirect Befeuermg, each contain two chambers with a common center wall and in which the exhaust gases through sole channels from one Chamber can be passed to the next.

The essence of the invention is that two of these the gases from one chamber leading to the other Sohlkanile independently and thus with slides and cover

or can be introduced in the middle or below or can also be combined with the fire gases of this next chamber.

To enable the temperatures to be coordinated
 EMI1.2
Finding that the air supply ducts for the purpose of preheating the combustion air in these stoves, as is known in other stoves, are passed close to the fire gas ducts in the base and that ducts are housed in the outer furnace masonry, dip on a short way to the combustion point air , which only heats up slightly and therefore allows the temperature to be reduced if the slider is adjusted accordingly.
 EMI1.3
 Details.

For continuous operation, only two double ovens 1 and 77 (FIG. 4), each consisting of two chambers 1, 2, 3 and 4, are required, but more such double ovens can be combined into one system if desired. You are able to largely adapt to the available building space in the system.

     1) The operation of the composite furnace is as follows: The fires in chamber 1 (Fig. 2) are as in
 EMI1.4

The routing and regulation of the secondary air is as follows: Cold air enters the duct next to the common central wall of the two chambers of the composite furnace. k or kl a (section L-M). The air, entering at k, k1, sweeps down the hot furnace wall and reaches the central channel 1 located between the hot transfer channels a, a1 and a2, a3 (section E-F in FIG. 1). From there it enters the channels m, m and

and under the sehamot grate h to be used for the combustion, so even if the access of hot air from the duct or the preceding chamber is blocked by closing the slide r, hot air can still be supplied to the furnace in a controllable manner
