Abstract
Tela de nivelacion de carga y absorcion de energía de impacto que comprende hilo de urdimbre. El hilo de urdimbre tiene un perfil de fuerza, desplazamiento quese caracteriza por (a) cuandoel h ilo se somete a una deformacion barrera inicial de aproximadamente 0,2 gramos/ denier a menos o igual a aproximadamente1,4 gramos / denier, el hilo se estira a menos de 3 por ciento y el modulo inicial oscila entre aproximadamente150 gram os / denier; (b) al someter alhilo una deformacion barrera superior a la inicial y menos o igual a 1,8 gramos / denier, el hilo se estira adicionalmente a por lo menos aproximadamente 10por ciento y la energía absorbida de 0 a la elongaciona 1,8 gra mos / denier es de por lo menos 0,0008 joules / denier x metro; y (c) al someter al hilo a másde 1,8 gramos / denier, el modulo aumenta abruptamente y el hilo se estira adicionalmente hasta que el hilo se rompe a una resistencia a latraccion de por lo menos aproximadamente 5 gramos / denier, donde el hilo comprende una multiplicidad de fibras, teniendo todos dichos hilos de urdimbressustancialmente el mismo perfil de fuerza desplazamiento, y están hechos de polímerosque tienen una temperatura de transicion vítrea en el rango deaproximadamente -40sC a aproximadamente +70sC y no están hechos de homopolímero de tereftalato de polibutileno.
