Abstract
THE INVENTION PROVIDES AN AUTOMATIC ELECTRICITY TAKING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR A RUBBER TYRED CONTAINER GANTRY CRANE, RELATING TO A MATCHING TECHNIQUE OF ENGINEERING OF CHANGING THE POWER OF A GANTRY CRANE USED IN CONTAINER TERMINALS OR STORAGE YARDS FROM FUEL OIL TO COMMERCIAL POWER. THE AUTOMATIC ELECTRICITY TAKING SYSTEM COMPRISES A CURRENT COLLECTING TROLLEY (1), A CONNECTION DEVICE, A TRACTION DEVICE (4) AND AN ELECTRICITY TAKING BRACKET (5), WHEREIN THE CONNECTION DEVICE AND THE TRACTION DEVICE (4) ARE SEPARATED FROM EACH OTHER COMPLETELY, AND THE CONNECTION DEVICE CAN BE SEPARATED FROM/CONNECTED TO THE CURRENT COLLECTING TROLLEY (1) THROUGH A COUPLING MECHANISM, THEREBY REALIZING SMOOTH RAIL ENTRY OF THE TROLLEY, HAVING NO IMPACT DURING RAIL ENTRY AND PREVENTING DAMAGE TO PARTS. THE CONNECTION DEVICE IS SEPARATED FROM THE TROLLEY AFTER FINISHING RAIL ENTRY OF THE TROLLEY, THEN THE TROLLEY IS PULLED BY A FLEXIBLE TRACTION DEVICE (4) TO SMOOTHLY LEAD IN AND LEAD OUT THE CARBON BRUSH OF A CURRENT COLLECTOR (11), AND THE EXTENSION AND RETRACTION OF THE FLEXIBLE TRACTION DEVICE (41) CAN COMPLEMENT 1 METER OF VERTICAL DISPLACEMENT TO EFFECTIVE SOLVE THE PROBLEM THAT THE CURRENT COLLECTING TROLLEY (1) CAN NOT NORMALLY WORK DUE TO UNEVEN SETTLEMENTS IN THE STORAGE YARDS.
