Abstract
Se proporciona un método para recuperar una capa superficial flotante de un cuerpo de agua, particularmente una capa superficial que comprende un contaminante flotante, tal como petroleo, un compartimiento de recoleccion (A) que tiene una presa o vertedero de espumado (K) en su parte superior en el cuerpo de agua y llenado con agua. Con la presa o vertedero de espumado en una posicion de desbordamiento en relacion a la superficie del cuerpo de agua, el agua se descarga del compartimiento de recoleccion (A), de modo que el compartimiento de recoleccion puede ser llenado nuevamente desde la superficie del cuerpo de agua con el agua que fluye sobre la presa o vertedero de espumado (K). El aparato para llevar a cabo la recuperacion comprende un contenedor de recoleccion (11.31), el cual es inmersible en un cuerpo de agua y define el compartimiento de recoleccion (A) y que tiene una presa o vertedero de espumado (K), la cual forma una entrada hacia el extremo superior del compartimiento de recoleccion (A), y medios (17, 18, 35, 36), tales como una bomba reversible, para descargar agua del compartimiento de recoleccion.
