Abstract
Un método (300) para caracterizar información de color de un diente, que comprende: (i) proyectar (320) al menos un patrón de color predeterminado (400); (ii) obtener (330), usando un generador de imágenes (10), una o más imágenes (90) que contienen ambas un primer patrón de color predeterminado proyectado (400) y al menos una porción de la boca de un usuario (500); (iii) identificar automáticamente (340) mediante un controlador (30), a partir de la una o más imágenes obtenidas, uno o más dientes (510) en la al menos una porción de la boca del usuario (500); (iv) comparar (350) un patrón de color predeterminado de una imagen obtenida con un patrón de color predeterminado proyectado correspondiente; y (v) extraer (360) mediante el controlador, basado en el resultado de la comparación, información de color del uno o más dientes identificados (510).
