Abstract

Un variador de transmision comprende un eje de entrada, un disco de entrada montado en el eje de entrada para rotacion con este y un disco de salida orientado al disco de entrada y dispuesto para girar coaxialmente con este. Los discos de entrada y salida definiendo entre estos una cavidad toroidal. Los dos rodillos estan ubicados en la cavidad toroidal y se proporcionan los primer y segundo medios de transporte de rodillo sobre los cuales los primer y segundo rodillos respectivamente son montados de manera que puedan girar y el medio de carga de extremo impulsa los rodillos en contacto con los discos de entrada y salida para transmitir impulso. Los dos medios de transporte de rodillos son montados sobre lados opuestos del eje giratorio de una palanca y el eje giratorio de la palanca puede moverse en la direccion radial con respecto al eje rotacional de los discos de entrada y salida.
