 BIOGRAPHY

Lance Glasoe has helped turn the Huskies into one of the most dangerous pitching staffs in the NCAA over his 12 years at UW. Glasoe joined the Huskies in 2008 and was a part of the 2009 National Coaching Staff of the Year after winning the national championship. He has coached nine All-American pitchers, including two in both 2018 and 2019, just the third and fourth time in UW history two pitchers have earned All-American awards in the same year. Glasoe has also coached the Huskies to three Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year awards, for Danielle Lawrie in 2009 and 2010 and Gabbie Plain in 2021.

Four times under Glasoe's guidance the Husky staff has put together a team ERA under 2.00, including a 1.18 mark in 2018 that was second-lowest in the nation and the second-best mark in UW history. That was the third time that the Huskies have finished in the nation's top ten in ERA under Glasoe, with the team doing so again in 2019.

In addition to his work with Washington, Glasoe serves as an assistant coach with the U.S. National Team.

Glasoe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Technology Education from Western Washington University in 1995. He lives in Puyallup, Washington and has two daughters, Maddy and Macie.
