Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Slavic *čuti, from Proto-Indo-European *(s)kewh₁-. Cognate with Upper Sorbian čuć (“to feel”), Polish czuć (“to feel”), Russian чуять (čujatʹ, “to smell, feel”).
