From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *laurā, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *leu, etymologically identical with Lithuanian laure (dirty person).[1]

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *laurā, a rebuilt form after the stem in -eh₂, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *leh₁u- (stone). Cognate to Ancient Greek (Hom.) λᾶας (lâas, stone) and Old Irish lie (stone) and perhaps Old Armenian լեառն (leaṙn).[2]
