Balancing load of shaper in WikiWinWin requirements negotiation environment: an empirical evaluation

Abstract

Requirements negotiation is a complex process which involves many stakeholders to make consistent decisions on a software system's requirements. Stakeholders need a tool to refine the requirements rapidly and efficiently. TWikiWinWin is the newest requirements negotiation system which supports WinWin theory. However, in this system Shaper is the key role to integrate and distill contents of others, so Shaper's low efficiency may result in delay of the whole negotiation process. To improve negotiation efficiency, we develop JSPWikiWinWin and evaluate its performance in a case study. The results show that JSPWikiWinWin system can alleviate stakeholders' work load and improve Shaper's efficiency.
